Page Seventeen

Soon, Adam, Billy, Tommy, and Kimberly stopped at the park.  They were sitting at picnic tables.  Tommy was having doubts about his project and was reluctant to show it to the whole class.  Tommy thought maybe he could make it taller as he joins his friends at the table.  Adam points out that Violet stares at Billy all day at class.  Violet has a crush on you.  Billy remarks, I really wouldn't know what to say to her.  Kimberly encourages Billy to ask her out.  She seems really nice.  Billy agrees and plans on asking her to a movie.  Adam thinks it's perfect.  Kimberly adds definitely.  Tommy is so concern with his art project he hasn't focused on the conversation around him.  That's it!  I'll say it's an alien!  There was a burbling sound and they all looked up.  Several of  Zedd's Putties have arrived.  Adam comments, don't these guys every learn?  Tommy tells his friends, let's go!  The four teens race towards Zedd's Putties.  Tommy fights a batch of Zedd's Putties.  Adam fights another batch of Zedd's Putties.  No one notices the vines on the ground, racing towards Billy.  Kimberly battles several other Zedd's Putties.  She pauses for a moment and wonders where Billy is?  After awhile, the Putty fight is over and Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly gather their things as evil Billy walks up.  (The real Billy was trapped in the Dark Dimension and Violet's statue of Billy had been turned evil.)  Tommy asks evil Billy if he is okay?  Kimberly adds, we couldn't find you.  Evil Billy tells them he is fine.  Just got side track by some Putties.  Adam, Tommy, Kimberly, and evil Billy walk together.  Adam warns his friends that they better be careful.  Rita and Lord Zedd must be in a bad mood.  Kimberly agrees and suggests they contact Zordon.  The four stop and Kimberly keeps a watch out as Tommy contacts Zordon.  Tommy tells Zordon they ran into some Putties at the park.  Is there anything unusual going on that we should know about?  Zordon replies, Putty attacks are always part of a larger plan.  I shall have to contact you when I gathered more information.  Tommy tells Zordon they will stay alert.  Evil Billy had been listening to the conversation very closely.  Kimberly tells her friends, let's go meet the others and reminds evil Billy that Violet will be there.  With a sneer, evil Billy tells Kimberly, don't be ridiculous.  She's not even my type.  Evil Billy walks ahead of the others.  Kimberly can't believe what Billy has said.  Evil Billy asks them, can we go?  I just want to lift some weights.  Tommy walks over to Adam and Kimberly and suggests perhaps he hit his head on a rock during the fight.  Adam and Kimberly chuckle and follow evil Billy to the Youth Center.  At the Youth Center, evil Billy is lifting weights.  Ernie walks over to deliver a tray of drinks to where Adam, Kimberly, Tommy, Rocky, and Aisha are studying at.  Ernie comments that Billy's workout plan must be working.  Adam, Rocky, and Aisha glance over at evil Billy.  Rocky comments, I would like to know his secret.  Violet is there as well and she is openly admiring evil Billy.  Evil Billy gets a look of contempt when he notices Violet.  Kimberly notices the exchange and comments, talk about mood swings.  Evil Billy walks over to the counter and deliberately passes by Violet.  With a big smile on her face, Violet tells him hi.  Evil Billy keeps his back towards Violet as she tries to talk to him.  Hurt, Violet walks away.  Adam, Kimberly, Tommy, Rocky, and Aisha are confused as to what has just happened.  Kimberly and Tommy get up and walk over to evil Billy.  Kimberly asks him, what is the matter with you?  Tommy adds, I thought you were going to ask her out on a date?  Evil Billy scoffs at the idea.  I think there has been a mistake.  Evil Billy quickly changes the subject and tells them he is going to need their communicators tonight.  I'm going to be making adjustments to them like Zordon asked me to.  Kimberly asks, what's wrong with our communicators?  Billy gives a very technical answer that no one understands.  Adam, Kimberly, Rocky, and Aisha give Billy their communicators.  Tommy is reluctant to give up his communicator because of the unpredictability of Lord Zedd and Rita. Billy reassures him that he is just keeping them in his backpack.  Tommy insists on keeping his communicator until he gets the rest fixed, just in case.  Unseen by the rest, evil Billy also put their morphers into his backpack.  Adam thought they should go back to studying for their math test.  Evil Billy tells them, he just going to lift some more weights.  He is pretty confident he knows math inside and out.  Billy walks away.  Kimberly tells her friends, he's been acting really strange.  Afterwards, Adam, Aisha, Kimberly, Rocky, Tommy, and evil Billy are walking through the park.  Tommy has his art project in his hands.  Aisha tries to find something nice to say, it looks like you learned a lot.  Tommy laughs and thanks Aisha.  Tommy tells her she should see the hologram Billy made.  It's pretty cool.  Aisha walks up to evil Billy and asks about the hologram.  Evil Billy has no idea what Aisha is talking about.  Kimberly reminds him about how he put it in his pocket.  Evil Billy can't find it and claims he must have left it at home.  Tommy and Kimberly exchange concern looks.  Tommy drops back and contacts Zordon. and finds out that Zordon did not ask for Billy to fix the Communicators.  Tommy fills in Kimberly and they race to catch up with the rest of the group.  Kimberly calls out Billy's name as she runs to catch up to him.  Kimberly asks evil Billy if she can see her communicator?  Evil Billy replies why?  Kimberly tells him she just wants to see if Zordon knows anything yet.  Evil Billy tells her he's not done adjusting the communicators.  Suddenly several of Zedd's Putties and Goldar arrive.  Goldar taunts them.  What's that you usually yell at this time?  Something about morphin' time, isn't it?  Goldar laughs.  Evil Billy faces Adam, Kimberly, Tommy, Aisha, and Rocky.  Tommy asks him, what are you doing?  Tommy reaches for his morpher and realizes evil Billy has their morphers too.  Evil Billy turns around and Kimberly yanks his backpack off.  Kimberly takes off with the backpack.  Evil Billy goes after her and Tommy goes after evil Billy.  Adam, Rocky, and Aisha prepare to fight the Putties.  Goldar laughs.  Kimberly is soon surrounded by Zedd's Putties.  She throws the backpack towards Tommy, but it lands in a tree.  A Putty kicks Tommy in the chest, knocking him down for a moment.  Aisha battles a batch of Zedd's Putties.  Soon, Adam, Aisha, and Rocky fight Goldar.  Rocky grabs a hold of Goldar and tells Aisha to go get the backpack.  Aisha runs towards the tree, but her way is blocked by several of Zedd's Putties.  Adam and Rocky continue to fight Goldar.  Rocky fights a batch of Putties.  Adam and Tommy work together to fight their group of  Zedd's Putties.  Eventually the Putties are defeated.  Rocky, Kimberly, and Aisha run over to where Adam and Tommy are standing.  Kimberly asks, where is Billy?  But no one has an answer for her as they look around.  At the Moon Palace, Lord Zedd fires his staff down at the park.   Tommy's art project is hit and is turned into Vase Face.  Vase Face shoots lasers out of his eyes.  Adam, Rocky, Aisha, Tommy, and Kimberly are knocked off their feet and hit the ground hard.  Evil Billy is climbing up a tree, trying to get the backpack.  Billy arrives (Alpha 5 had teleported him from the Dark Dimension to the park) and startles evil Billy, causing him to fall out of the tree.  Evil Billy has hurt his shoulder.  Billy quickly grabs the backpack, takes his morpher and tosses the backpack to Tommy.  Tommy catches the backpack and passes the morphers to his friends.  Evil Billy tackles Billy and knocks him to the ground.  There is a struggle and then they both morph.  Two Blue Rangers face each other.  Adam, Rocky, Aisha, Tommy, and Kimberly have no idea which one is the real Billy.  Both Blue Rangers insist they are the real Billy. Tommy's communicator goes off.  It's Zordon.  Zordon tells Tommy, you must hurry and identity the real Billy.  Zedd's monster has slipped away and is heading for Angel Grove.  Kimberly glances down at the grass and spots Billy's holographic disc.  She picks it up and holds it up in the air.  Kimberly asks the Blue Rangers what is this?  Evil Blue Ranger replies a mirror.  Kimberly replies, wrong, it's a hologram.  She has figured out which is the real Blue Ranger.  Adam, Rocky, Aisha, Tommy, and Kimberly morph.  The real Blue Ranger joins them as they face down evil Blue Ranger.  The Rangers blast evil Blue Ranger with their Blade Blasters and he is quickly destroyed.  Vase Face grows to giant size.  The Rangers summon their zords.  Thunder Megazord is formed.  White Tiger Zord transforms into warrior mode.  Vase Face charges towards Thunder Megazord and Tiger Zord.  Thunder Megazord strikes Vase Face and knocks him down.  Vase Face quickly gets back up.  Vase Face runs towards Thunder Megazord.  Thunder Megazord and Vase Face battled each other with their swords.  Vase Face releases several strings from it's hands which wrapped around Thunder Megazord.  Red Ranger tells the rest of the Rangers, let's give this guy a charge of our own.  Thunder Megazord releases energy which strikes Vase Face hard.  This has weaken Vase Face.  Tiger Zord shoots it's own energy at Vase Face, striking it hard.  Thunder Megazord uses it's saber and destroy Vase Face.  The next day, at Angel Grove High School, Violet is looking through the supplies when Billy walks up behind her and apologizes for the way he's been acting.  Soon, Ms. Binx walks into the classroom.  She asks who would like to be first to show their project?  Kimberly volunteers and displays her painting.  Ms. Binx thinks it's lovely.  Tommy gives Kimberly a thumbs up.  Ms. Binx tells Kimberly she has done a remarkable job capturing the warmth and the friendship you all share.  Bulk and Skull walk in front of Kimberly's presentation.  Bulk remarks, not to mention the dorkness too.  Bulk and Skull laugh.  Ms. Binx has Bulk and Skull go next.  Kimberly carries her painting back to the table where Adam and Tommy are sitting.  Bulk states, as many great artists do, we had someone else do the work for us.  Skull and Bulk applaud Violet.  Ms. Binx remarks, oh really?  Name two?  Skull replies, Bulk and Skull.  Ms. Binx can only shake her head.  Bulk continues, this statue will sit proudly in town square and the Power Rangers themselves, will appear and thank us for our vision.  Bulk pulls the cloth off the statue.  The statue is dressed in a gold Mighty Morphin costume and looks a lot like Billy.  Violet asks Billy if he likes it?  Billy is stunned and doesn't know what to say.  Skull and Bulk are stunned as well.  Bulk asks Violet, what is this suppose to be?  Violet replies, I thought you would want a statue that illustrates the qualities that it takes to be a Power Ranger.  If anyone has them, it's Billy.  Billy is flattered.  Bulk remarks, that dweeb!  You are out of your mind.  Skull adds, get real!  Bulk continues, Billy...a Power Ranger!  That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my entire life.  Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly exchange amused glances.  Skull and Bulk walk out.  Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly gather around Billy and Violet.  Tommy imitates the same pose as the statue.
