Billy continued to watch, through a vent, below him. Alpha 5 and Zordon were creating a new Ranger. Billy: This is incredible. Billy could hear the conversation between Zordon and Alpha 5. Alpha 5: Right Zordon. Quantum pods are online. We're nearly finish. Billy stopped watching and realized he needed to tell his friends what was going on.
At Zedd's palace, Lord Zedd is extremely pleased at how well his plan has worked. Goldar asks him what he wants to do next. Lord Zedd replied that they will continue with phase two of the plan.
Billy returns to his lab where his friends are waiting. Billy gives them a long version of what he had seen. Kimberly interrupts, telling Billy she doesn't mean any disrespect but could he cut to the chase. Billy tells them that Zordon and Alpha 5 are building a new Ranger. Kimberly, Trini, Jason, and Zack are taken aback at the news. Kimberly asks why Tommy couldn't have been use. Zack is angry and wants to know who is the new guy? Trini comments that they have been friends for so long. Billy tells them that Zordon knows what he is doing, reminds them that Lord Zedd's monsters are superior to those of Rita Repulsa's, and that they need a new Ranger. Meanwhile, Alpha 5 continues to work on the new Ranger. At Skull's garage, Bulk & Skull have tried everything and still cannot open the dumpster. Skull gets an idea and tells Bulk they need to go see Ernie. Bulk & Skull leave for the Juice Bar. The lid to the dumpster opens slightly and Rita hollers that she has to get out of here. At the Command Center, Zordon and Alpha 5 are ready and the teens are contacted. Billy reminds his friends once more that Zordon knows what he is doing. The teens teleport to the Command Center. Zordon tells the teens the time has come for a new Ranger and leader. The teens watched apprehensively as the new White Ranger is lowered to the floor. The tension becomes too much for Kimberly and she faints as the White Ranger reveals himself to be Tommy. Zordon chuckles as the Billy, Jason, Zack, and Trini registered the fact that the new Ranger is their friend. Jason, Zack, Trini, and Billy go to Tommy and congratulate him. Tommy notices Kimberly on the floor and walks over. Tommy wakes up Kimberly. Kimberly can't believe it is really Tommy and they hug each other. As they get up, Kimberly asks Zordon how, as she thought Tommy's powers were destroyed. Zordon explains that the Green Ranger's powers were destroyed. The White Ranger has been created with the power of good. Tommy is given a new zord and new weapons. The teens are thrilled with the choice of Tommy as the White Ranger.
Bulk & Skull returned from the Juice Bar to Skull's garage. They have with them a large can opener. Bulk & Skull used the can opener to try and open the dumpster. In the Command Center, the alarm goes off. The Nimrod monster is back. Jason tells Zordon that their zords were damaged in the last battle and are not ready yet. Alpha 5 calls the teens over to the viewing globe. The viewing globe shows Bulk & Skull about to open Rita's dumpster. The teens are aware their cover will be blown if Rita is released. Zordon tells Trini and Billy to begin work on the zords. Trini and Billy teleport out. Zordon has Zack, Jason, and Kimberly go to Skull's garage to stop Bulk & Skull from opening the dumpster. Zordon has Tommy take on the Nimrod monster until the rest of the Rangers can join him. The teens morph and teleport out. Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Black Ranger soon discovered several putties - Lord Zedd is looking for Rita as well. Pink Ranger, Black Ranger, and Red Ranger battled and destroy the numerous putties. Meanwhile, White Ranger calls forth his new zord. With the White Tiger zord, White Ranger, with Saba's help, battles Nimrod. It is a made worse when Nimrod calls forth two more monsters. Soon White Ranger is knocked out of his zord and the White Tiger zord is down as well. White Ranger contacts Red Ranger and soon Red Ranger arrives with his zord. The two Rangers battle and soon the rest of the Rangers and their zords arrive. They form the Megazord and the Megazord and Red Ranger's zord battled and destroyed the two monsters and Nimrod.
Bulk & Skull are still working in Skull's garage. They wearily sink to the floor, realizing they are never going to open the dumpster. Bulk & Skull are unaware that the lid has opened and Rita Repulsa has managed to get out. Bulk & Skull hear a voice and turn around. Bulk & Skull scream as they see the tiny Rita Repulsa, and then they faint. The Rangers arrive and placed Rita right back into the dumpster and seal it. The Rangers demorph and the guys leave while Kimberly and Trini stay behind. Kimberly and Trini wake up Bulk & Skull. Bulk & Skull warn Trini and Kimberly about the tiny witch. Trini and Kimberly act like they don't know what Bulk & Skull are talking about. Bulk & Skull turn around and realized there is nothing behind them. Bulk & Skull decide to act like nothing unusual has happened and Kimberly and Trini play along with them. Billy, Jason, Zack, and Tommy have a hold of Rita's dumpster outside. They hold the dumpster up high and let Alpha 5 know they are ready. In the Command Center, Zordon has Alpha 5 direct an energy beam towards the dumpster. The dumpster is sent back to space. The following day, the teens gathered at the Juice Bar. Jason comments that Tommy's surprise was bigger than their surprise. Richie and Curtis walk in. Richie has a trophy. Curtis joins the teens at the table, while Trini asks Richie if he won the trophy at a karate competition. Richie replies yes. Tommy thinks it's cool and asks Richie to demonstrate some of his karate moves. Ernie is walking with the cake he just decorated to celebrate Tommy's return and Bulk & Skull have just entered the Juice Bar. Richie does a kick that knocks the cake Ernie was carrying out of his hands. The cake goes flying and hits Bulk & Skull. Bulk & Skull look at each other, shrug and walked out. Richie and Ernie grin as the teens laughed. Tommy comments that it's good to see some things never change.
