A Reel Fish Story

Several children are splashing around at Angel Grove's lake. Rocky is working as a lifeguard. Rocky warns them the lake gets really deep, so not to wander off and they will be fine. Rocky walks pass Dougie and a friend. Dougie's friend wants to go into the lake and doesn't understand why Dougie doesn't want to, since he is the best swimmer out of their group. Dougie is convinced there are monsters in the lake. Dougie's friend tells him they don't have to worry. The Power Rangers protect Angel Grove. Dougie is not placing his faith in the Power Rangers and walks away. The two kids walk past Bulk & Skull were are sitting on an inter tube on the beach. Listening to the kid's talk just gave Bulk a brilliant idea. Skull loves brilliant ideas and tells Bulk he wants to hear it. Bulk tells him the Power Rangers are suppose to protect all of Angel Grove, right. Skull nods his head yes. Bulk tells him so here is what we do. Bulk leans in so only Skull can hear what he has to say. Dougie has stopped by Rocky. Rocky kneels down and asks Dougie if he is sure he doesn't want to go in the water? Rocky reassures him that he will look out for him. Dougie refuses to let the monsters get him. Rocky tells him he has never seen a monster out here. This doesn't convince Dougie and he tells Rocky he just doesn't want to go into the lake. Dougie walks away.
At his palace, Lord Zedd has heard Rocky's conversation with Dougie. Lord Zedd has decided since Rocky has never encounter any underwater monsters, he would remedy the situation. Lord Zedd starts laughing and then states the tides is about to turn. Goldar is with Lord Zedd and asks him what tides? Impatiently, Lord Zedd explains it was just a metaphor for his latest scheme. Goldar asks him if the scheme is an attack against the Power Rangers? Lord Zedd tells him yes. Lord Zedd plans to bring back all the best of his underwater monsters. Lord Zedd is confident the Power Rangers cannot defeat them all at the same time.
Rocky is patrolling the beach when Billy and Aisha came running up to him. Billy asks Rocky how the volunteer life guarding is going? Rocky tells him great, but he is worried about Dougie. Billy and Rocky glance back at Dougie who is sitting on the beach and far from the water. Rocky tells them Dougie won't go in the water. Aisha asks why? Rocky tells them Dougie has got this thing about monsters in the lake. Billy comments that he knows just how Dougie feels. There was a time when he wouldn't swimming himself. Rocky asks them where are the others? Aisha answers that Adam, Kimberly, and Tommy went scuba diving. They plan to come to the beach for lunch.
Elsewhere, Kimberly, Tommy, and Adam are scuba diving and enjoying it.
The kids in the water start screaming as two sharks fins appear in the water. Rocky, Billy, and Aisha are alerted as they spot the shark fins as well. Billy and Rocky race over to a wave runner. Dougie stands up in alarm. Rocky and Billy hop onto the wave runner and take off. Dougie runs over to his friend and tells her, see I told you there are monsters. But it is not monsters - it is Bulk & Skull. Bulk is not happy to see Rocky and Billy when they pulled over. Bulk refers to them as tweebs and asks them why they always have to mess everything up? Skull is sure the Power Rangers would have been here any minute. Rocky tells them this isn't funny. The lake isn't a place to be fooling around. Billy adds that they are lucky the Power Rangers didn't catch them. He doesn't think they would appreciate being called into action if there are no monsters to deal with. Billy and Rocky can only shake their heads at Bulk & Skull. Rocky warns them to stay out of trouble. He's got enough kids to look after. Rocky and Billy leave on the wave runner. After they leave, Skull asks Bulk if they can get out now, as the water is freezing. Bulk tells him no and dunks back under the water. Rocky and Billy return to the beach. As they get off the wave runner, Aisha and Dougie come running up to them. Dougie asks them what happened to the monsters? Rocky tells him there were no monsters - they were just faking. Billy tells all the excitement has made him work up an appetite. Billy wonders if the others are done with their scuba diving exhibition?
Tommy, Adam, and Kimberly are still enjoying their scuba diving.
Goldar informs Lord Zedd that three of the Rangers are still under water. Lord Zedd is pleased. The time to strike is now. They will not be able to hear the alert when Zordon tries to contact them. Lord Zedd wants to attack the three Rangers on the surface and they will take of the other Rangers when they come up for air. Lord Zedd laughs. Goldar plans to take several Putties with him. Lord Zedd tells him he must be joking. This is a job for some serious monsters. Angel Grove's past is litter with terrible creatures of the deep. Lord Zedd calls forth one now. Lord Zedd refers to the monster as shark monster. Lord Zedd uses his staff to bring back Slippery Shark.
Slippery Shark appears in Angel Grove.
Lord Zedd starts laughing. Lord Zedd is confident that Slippery Shark will make fish food out of the Power Rangers.
Slippery Shark senses water and starts making his way through the woods and towards Angel Grove Lake. Slippery Shark is ready for destruction.
The alarms go off in the Command Center. Alpha 5 tells Zordon that Slippery Shark is heading for the lake. Zordon instructs Alpha 5 to get the Power Rangers immediately. The people there are in great danger. Alpha 5 tries to contact Tommy, but he is not answering. Zordon tells Alpha 5 to try the others and warns there is not much time. Slippery Shark must be stop before it reaches the water. Alpha 5 sends out the communicator signal. At the lake, Rocky is sitting at his post, surveying the lake and the beach. Rocky's communicator goes off. After a quick look around, Rocky responds. Alpha 5 informs Rocky that Lord Zedd has released a terrible monster on the other side of the lake. Alpha 5 warns Rocky that they must stop it before it gets to the swimmers. Rocky tells Alpha 5 they are on their way. Rocky climbs down and asks Steve if he could watch his post - an emergency has come up. Steve tells him no problem. Rocky thanks him and goes over to Billy, Aisha, and Dougie. Rocky tells Aisha and Billy they got to go. Aisha tells Dougie they have a little emergency they have to take care of. Rocky points out Steve to Dougie and tells him he's going to take care of you. Dougie tells them bye and they take off. Rocky, Aisha, and Billy go a little ways from the beach and then stop. Rocky fills them in on what is happening. Billy suspects Adam, Kimberly, and Tommy are still scuba diving, otherwise they would be here by now. Aisha, Billy, and Rocky morph and teleport to the other side of the lake. Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, and Yellow Ranger land on top of a lookout post. Red Ranger points out Slippery Shark below them. Slippery Shark is eager to see them. Red Ranger tells him he picked the wrong beach to pollute. Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, and Blue Ranger leap off the outpost and start battling Slippery Shark. Blue Ranger lands a kick to Slippery Shark. Slippery Shark flips him onto his back. Soon Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger are tossed to the side. Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger makes sure Red Ranger is okay. Red Ranger tells them this monster is tougher than he thought. Slippery Shark taunts them by asking them if they are giving up already? Slippery Shark laughs. Red Ranger vows we are not through with you yet. In Lord Zedd's palace, Lord Zedd is very pleased. Goldar reminds Lord Zedd that if Slippery Shark can't finish off the three Power Rangers, there are many more monsters they can send. Baboo and Squatt are cowering. Baboo tells Squatt that Lord Zedd and Goldar will do anything. Squatt finishes his sentence - to finish the Power Rangers. They both hope they will not be sent down to battle the Power Rangers. Lord Zedd uses his staff to bring forth Pirantishead and Goo Fish. Goo Fish and Pirantishead land on either side of Slippery Shark. The three Rangers are not happy to see two more monsters. The three Rangers race forward and battle Pirantishead, Goo Fish, and Slippery Shark. Watching from his palace, Lord Zedd is very happy - his plan is working to perfection. Lord Zedd instructs Goldar to send in the Cruel Crayfish - Commander Crayfish. On the beach, Yellow Ranger is battling Goo Fish. Yellow Ranger is knocked to the ground just as Commander Crayfish comes leaping into the battle. Commander Crayfish is about to strike Yellow Ranger, when Blue Ranger quickly gets her out of the way. Blue Ranger tells Yellow Ranger this is looking bad. Yellow Ranger is worried that if they don't get some help soon, they will be fish food.
Red Ranger is battling Slippery Shark and Goo Fish. He manages to break away long enough to contact Alpha 5. Red Ranger tells Alpha 5 they need help now! In the Command Center, Alpha 5 gets Red Ranger's message. Alpha 5 asks Red Ranger how they are doing against Lord Zedd's fish monsters? Zordon tells Red Ranger to not give up. We are still attempting to contact the others. Red Ranger tells Zordon they will do their best. Just send some help as soon as you can. In the Command Center, Zordon tells Alpha 5 they must find the others. Zordon instructs Alpha 5 to set the communicators for a broadband sweep and begin transmitting. Alpha 5 immediately gets to work. Meanwhile, Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly are done scuba diving and come up to the surface. As they walk towards the shore, Tommy's communicator goes off. It's Alpha 5. Tommy replies we read you Alpha. Alpha 5 is very happy that he has finally reached them. Alpha 5 informs them that Lord Zedd has sent an army of sea monsters to the other side of the lake. The other Rangers need your help desperately. Tommy tells Alpha 5 they are on their way. Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly morph and teleport to the other side of the lake. White Ranger kicks aside Pirantishead as he arrives. Blue Ranger is taken aback when Pirantishead is knocked to the ground. But happy when he sees the rest of the Rangers have arrived. Commander Crayfish is not happy to see more Power Rangers. The six Rangers and the four monsters race towards each other. The Rangers battle the monsters. The Rangers are doing well against the monsters. At his palace, Lord Zedd has been watching and he is furious. Lord Zedd demands to know where those other Rangers came from? Goldar tells him he does not know. Lord Zedd is not surprised. Lord Zedd begins searching for something to make a new monster. Lord Zedd locates the inner tube that Bulk & Skull are using. Lord Zedd decides the inner tube will be his next monster. Baboo and Squatt are hiding, but they can see and hear the conversation. Squatt and Baboo like the idea of a inner tube becoming a monster. Goldar is a little skeptical. Lord Zedd is done with his sea monsters and wants a stronger monster. Lord Zedd uses his staff to change the inner tube into a monster. At the lake, Bulk & Skull are using the inner tube to try and make their way back to shore. Bulk & Skull are still mad at Billy and Rocky ruining their plans. Bulk wants to find a way to get them and Skull agrees. Suddenly the inner tube vanishes. Bulk & Skull splash in the water quite a bit. Bulk asks Skull what happened to their tube? Skull thinks maybe a monster ate it. Bulk replies very funny. Bulk points out how far it is to shore. Bulk thinks they won't make it. Bulk & Skull start swimming towards shore. The inner tube has become Tube Monster. At his palace, Lord Zedd throws down his grow bomb. Tube Monster is giant size and in the city of Angel Grove. Tube Monster laughs as he wrecks the city. In the Command Center, Alpha 5 has been watching the viewing globe. Alpha 5 becomes alarmed when he sees Tube Monster. Alpha 5 informs Zordon that Lord Zedd has release another monster. Zordon tells Alpha 5 to contact the Rangers and inform them of this latest development. Alpha 5 does so immediately. On the other side of the lake, the Rangers are still battling the Slippery Shark, Pirantishead, Goo Fish, and Commander Crayfish. White Ranger has just knocked Pirantishead down when his communicator goes off. Zordon informs White Ranger on what is going on. Red Ranger asks White Ranger now what? They still have these monsters to fight. White Ranger decides they will split up. White Ranger sends the rest of the team to save the city, while he stays behind to fight the four monsters. Pink Ranger asks White Ranger if he is sure? White Ranger tells them to not worry about him, just get the Thunder Megazord downtown. Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, Black Ranger, Pink Ranger, and Yellow Ranger summon their zords and form the Thunder Megazord. The Thunder Megazord heads into the city and faces off Tube Monster. Tube Monster greets them by telling them to be prepare to be destroy, along with your city. The Thunder Megazord and Tube Monster battle. The Thunder Megazord destroys Tube Monster with the thunder saber. Back at the lake, White Ranger battles Goo Fish, Commander Crayfish, Slippery Shark, and Pirantishead. The monsters are happy they only have one Ranger to battle and confident they will destroy him. White Ranger quickly knocks the four monsters down. Saba tells him excellent work. The four monsters are destroyed and vanish. At his palace, Lord Zedd is sitting on his throne and he is furious. Goldar, Baboo, and Squatt are there. Lord Zedd fires lightening out of his fingers tips towards Baboo and Squatt and tells them to stand back. Lord Zedd vows if he never sees another fish in his life, it will be too soon. Lord Zedd then asks them what's for lunch? Goldar replies light trout almandine. Lord Zedd glows red with his fury and yells at Goldar, calling him an incredible twit. Lord Zedd vows the Power Rangers will pay for this some day.
The people at the lake are having a carefree time. The inner tube simply reappears on the shore of the lake. Bulk & Skull are still trying to make it to shore. Skull spots their inner tube and points it out to Bulk. Bulk is eager to get their inner tube, but Skull starts crying out in pain. Skull has a leg cramp and can't make it. Bulk tries to drag him to shore. But Bulk can't make it - he's too tired. Dougie spots them having trouble. Dougie takes a quick glance at Steve and call out to him. But Steve is busy helping a girl on the beach and doesn't hear him. Dougie decides to take matters into his own hands. Dougie splashes into the lake and heads over to the inner tube. Dougie starts swimming with the inner tube towards Bulk & Skull. The girl Steve is helping points out there is trouble in the lake. Steve takes off and races into the lake. Dougie has managed to get Bulk & Skull onto the inner tube and is heading back to shore. Steve catches up to the inner tube and helps Dougie bring it back to shore. A crowd has gathered where Bulk & Skull are as Rocky, Aisha, and Billy run up. Steve tells Dougie good work, nice job and gives him a pat on his back. Rocky asks what is going on? Steve tells them that Dougie just saved Bulk & Skull from drowning. Rocky is impressed. Dougie adds there are no monsters in the lake. Rocky tells Dougie he is very proud of him. Aisha adds that Dougie is a real hero. Rocky tells Bulk & Skull they are lucky to be alive. Rocky thinks they have caused enough trouble for one day. Bulk starts squirming around. Bulk pulls out a fish. The fish sprays water on Bulk's and Skull's faces. Skull gets mad and spits back at the fish. Bulk tosses the fish away as the crowd around them erupts in laughter.
