Over ten thousand years ago, Dai Shi was an evil spirit. Dai Shi believed that animals should rule the planet and humans should be erase. Brave warriors channeled their animal spirits and battle Dai Shi. Dai Shi was captured and placed in an orate box. The Pai Zhug, the Order of the Claw, was formed to protect the box and keep Dai Shi from escaping. It was inside the forbidden room at the Order of the Claw academy, that Dai Shi was released. Jarrod, a student for ten years, had been dismissed. Angry, Jarrod had battled Master Mao, who had been holding the box. Master Mao had dropped the box. Dai Shi lost no time in escaping. The force of his spirit leaving knocked the four teens, Jarrod, Casey, Theo, and Lily to the floor. Dai Shi was pleased to see Master Mao and greeted him as an old friend. Dai Shi wanted to destroy Master Mao, but first he would have Master Mao see what was dear to him be destroyed. Jarrod slipped away. Casey, Theo, and Lily stood up to battle Dai Shi. Dai Shi was amused as Master Mao stood up and started to battle Dai Shi. Dai Shi had no problem battling and destroying Master Mao. Master Mao was tossed onto a stone table. Dai Shi looked at Casey, Theo, and Lily and decided they were not worth his time and left. Dai Shi needed a new form and knew where to go. Dai Shi went after Jarrod, who was in the woods, trying to get away. Dai Shi whispered Jarrod's name. Jarrod looked around but couldn't see anything. Dai Shi then attacked Jarrod and possessed him. Dai Shi then returned to where he had been captured. His old place was still intact and he wasted no time. Dai Shi chanted and threw powder onto the floor to summon his evil army, the Rinshi. His army came forth. Dai Shi summon one Rinshi forward and placed the mantis onto his forehead, which changed him to the Mantor. Dai Shi was ready to send them out, but stopped them. Dai Shi wanted to know where Camille was. Camille emerged from the wall. Dai Shi called Camille his lovely and asked her where she had been. Camille, who liked Dai Shi's new form, told him she had been waiting in the wall for him. Dai Shi wanted Camille to sit with him and talk while Mantor and the Rinshi went out to battle. Later, Dai Shi was upset when Mantor returned from battle in defeat. Dai Shi thought he should take his power away. Camille liked the idea and told Dai Shi he should destroy the icky mantis. The Mantor began to protest. Dai Shi decided to send Camille out with Mantor and Rinshi and show them how it's done. Camille transform into a human size chameleon as Dai Shi laughed with amusement. Camille, the Mantor and the Rinshi left for battle.

Dai Shi was watching his Rinshi go through their paces, when Camille walk in. Camille nervously knelt before Dai Shi and told him Mantor had failed. Dai Shi growled his disapproval. Camille knew he wouldn't like that. Later, Camille returned once more and knelt before Dai Shi. Dai Shi had his back towards her. Mantor had been destroyed by the Power Rangers. Camille told Dai Shi the three teens were more powerful than they had thought. Dai Shi turned around and told Camille that they don't know the meaning of power, but they soon will when he unleashes his fury. Dai Shi roared. Dai Shi's new form, that Camille admired, was that of Jarrod.

Dai Shi was in the woods. Camille and the Rinshi were there as well. Dai Shi was facing the Rinshi and Camille stood behind him. Dai Shi: I have to test my growing power. Your challenge Rinshi is me. Who dares? The Rinshi stepped forward and Dai Shi battled them. Dai Shi used the lion spirit to destroy the Rinshi. He laughed when it was over. Camille brought his clock forward and placed it on his shoulders. Camille: Dai Shi you are so strong and so powerful. Dai Shi: Make yourself useful Camille. Dai Shi walked away, without once glancing back at Camille. Later, Dai Shi was sitting on his chair facing Camille and the Rinshi. Dai Shi told Camille that every moment that the Power Rangers breaths, Camille becomes more worthless to him. Camille tells Dai Shi that she has the powerful spirit of the buffalo. Camille calls forth a reluctant Rinshi and opens the pouch that contains the buffalo spirit. The buffalo spirit becomes a buffalo emblem that Camille places on the Rinshi and the Rinshi transforms into Buffalord. Dai Shi smiles, pleased with the plan. But Camille's plan failed and eventually the Power Rangers would destroy Buffalord. Inside his lair, Dai Shi is sitting on his throne once more. He is watching as Camille is scrubbing the floor. Camille tells Dai Shi she doesn't know whey she is being punished, it was Buffalord who had failed. Dai Shi tells her she has missed a spot and if she misses it again, she will be scrubbing the floors of the underworld. Frighten, Camille goes back to scrubbing the floor.

Dai Shi was sitting on the throne, when Camille entered with the Five Fingers of Poison. Camille: As you requested, five of the most dangerous warriors in your army. Dai Shi stood up. Dai Shi: Go and spread fear from the highest rooftop. That will take my power to the next level. The Five Fingers of Poison went into the city of Ocean Bluff. The people are terrified and run screaming. This gives greater power to Dai Shi. The Rangers will appear in the city and battle the Five Fingers of Poison. Inside his lair, Dai Shi is filled with greater power and he knows it won't be long now. The teens will eventually retreat to regroup, but the Five Fingers of Poison had followed them to the outskirts of the city. The teens had been knocked off their feet by the Five Fingers of Poison. Lightening follow and then Dai Shi appeared. Casey, Theo, and Lily were very surprised to see Jarrod. Lily asked him what he was doing. Dai Shi told them that Jarrod was gone, and he was now filled with the evil of Dai Shi. Camille had appeared as well. Casey remarked it was bad enough when he was just the jerk who had been kicked out of school. Dai Shi is not happy with that memory. Dai Shi tells Casey he will pay for that humiliation. Dai Shi dons his armor. Casey tells Dai Shi he beat him once, he'll beat him again. Lily warns Casey that he has the power of Dai Shi, but this does not stop Casey. Casey morphs. Dai Shi and Casey call their animal spirits forth and then battle. Dai Shi has an easy time with the Red Ranger and soon Red Ranger demorphs as he hits the ground. Dai Shi tells him the tiger spirit is quite tame and decides Casey is not worth his time. Dai Shi sends Stingerella forward. Stingerella injects Casey with poison. The poison is not fatal, but will cause Casey to be in a great deal of pain. Dai Shi then vanishes. Later, inside his lair, Dai Shi calls for Camille. He is very angry. Camille nervously enters his chamber. Dai Shi tells Camille if she ever wants him to trust her again, she better take care of Rantipede, one of the Five Fingers of Poison. Rantipede had decided to take the Rangers on his own. Camille is outrage and reassures Dai Shi that she will take care of the problem. Unfortunately, Rantipede will be destroy by the Rangers.

Dai Shi walked into one of the chambers inside his lair. Stingerella and Gakko were there. Dai Shi was very angry. Gakko had been sent out to destroy the Rangers. Gakko had defeated them, but left. Stingerella had gone to warn Gakko, but Gakko was not too worry it was his plan. Gakko was about to tell Stingerella what he would tell Dai Shi, when Dai Shi entered, with Camille trialing behind him. Dai Shi asked Gakko what he was going to say to him. Gakko quickly changes his tune and tells Dai Shi he plans to destroy the Rangers. Dai Shi tells him to do so or he might use his skin for a new pair of boots. Camille giggles. Dai Shi turns on her and tells Camille he will use her skin as well. Camille remarks she has done nothing. Dai Shi, walking out, tells her exactly. A little confused, Camille follows him out. Things do not get better. Gakko is eventually destroyed by the Rangers. Dai Shi is furious. Stingerella, Naja, and Toady stand in formation and face his wrath. Dai Shi yells at them that he has never seen such weakness. Dai Shi considering taking them out himself and sparing the Rangers the trouble. Camille laughs and states she wouldn't have a problem with that. Dai Shi yells at Camille that she is not far from extermination herself. Dai Shi storms off.

Dai Shi is sitting on his throne. Naja is there as well and he is not happy. Naja wants to go out and battle and doesn't understand why Dai Shi won't send him out. Dai Shi becomes angry and tells Naja to never question him. Dai Shi morphs and battles Naja, won has gone into monster form. Dai Shi defeats Naja. Dai Shi tells Naja to wait. Naja reassures Dai Shi that he wont' let him done. Dai Shi warns him he better not.

Dai Shi is on the beach as Camille comes walking up. It is obvious that Camille is hurt. Camille had been battling Naja, who had wanted to over throw Dai Shi. Dai Shi is upset that Camille had not destroy the traitor. Camille tells Dai Shi that Naja is much stronger than she had thought. Camille also mentions how Naja had told her that he cares nothing about her. Dai Shi is silent, wondering how to react. Camille quickly tells him that she didn't believe Naja. Dai Shi tells Camille that she is his favorite. Dai Shi also adds he has a tip for her, instead of deflecting the blows, absorb them and become more powerful. Camille is concern, because it is dangerous and she could be destroyed. Dai Shi asks her if she wants his admiration, his love, it would be a risk she is willing to take. Dai Shi walks away. Later, Dai Shi is in his throne room meditating. Naja, Gakko, and Rantipede (Naja had resurrected them using two of his life talons), slipped into the room silently. Naja is ready to strike when Camille materializes in front of Dai Shi and knocks Naja aside. Dai Shi dons his armor. Dai Shi battles both Gakko and Rantipede. Camille battle Naja. Dai Shi quickly destroy Rantipede. Gakko makes a run for it. Gakko would later be destroyed by the Power Rangers. Naja manages to get away from Camille. Dai Shi sends Camille to pursue Naja. Camille does catch up to Naja. Dai Shi will eventually arrive as well. Naja is trying to convince Camille to join his side. Naja tells Camille that Dai Shi has never thanked her for all that she had done. Camille acknowledges that this is true and Dai Shi lets out a small growl. Naja presses his point by telling Camille he would appreciate a powerful and loyal warrior such as she. Naja also offers the life talons, the ability to bring back a life, something not even Dai Shi can offer. Camille then strikes. Camille destroys Naja and gets the talons. Dai Shi vanishes before Camille can even show Dai Shi what she has done. Afterwards, they are both back in the throne room. Dai Shi notes they have a lot to do. Naja had set things back. Camille tells Dai Shi that she hopes she has proven her loyalty to him. Dai Shi demonstrates once more how little he cares for Camille by telling her that he hopes she doesn't expect to be thank. Camille's loyalty is expected. Dai Shi then storms out.

Dai Shi was sitting in his throne room when Camille entered. Dai Shi: The Five Fingers of Poison failed. Camille: yes, they were a let down. Especially that cobra. My mother always told me not to trust snakes. Dai Shi: Enough of these inferior fools! Dai Shi tells Camille to get the Overlords' bracelets. Camille smiles as she does Dai Shi's bidding. Camille gets the bracelets and then gives them to Dai Shi. Camille becomes alarm when Dai Shi tells her he plans to resurrect the Sky Overlord. Dai Shi is not worried, he has the lion spirit and that can defeat any mere hawk. Dai Shi also wants a monster to prepare the city for the Sky Overlord. Camille tells him she has the perfect one, Pangolin. Dai Shi is preparing to leave, but wants Camille to keep an eye on the Rangers. He senses they are up to something. Later, Dai Shi arrives at the place where the Sky Overlord was destroyed. Dai Shi takes out a bracelet and summons the Sky Overlord. Dai Shi wants the Sky Overlord to show him his dark ways. Dai Shi dons his armor and waits.

Dai Shi: Here it is. I will strike with the might of the lion. Dai Shi generates his powerful energy and then gives the rocky wall in front of him a kick. Nothing happens. Dai Shi: And again This time Dai Shi slams his fist into the wall. The rocks coming raining down and Carnisoar's tomb is revealed. Dai Shi: Yes! Dai Shi takes out a life talon. Dai Shi: With this life talon, I will revile Carnisoar from his tomb. Dai Shi places the talon on the tomb. The tomb cracks and Carnisoar's eyes begin to glow. Dai Shi: Arise my new Master. Carnisoar breaks free. Dai Shi: Excellent. Carnisoar soars into the sky. Carnisoar: I am Carnisoar, Sky Overlord. Carnisoar landed on the ground and faces Dai Shi. Carnisoar: What is it you want, young warrior? Dai Shi: To test you. I call forth the spirit of the mighty lion. The lion spirit attacked Carnisoar. Carnisoar stopped the lion spirit and it vanished. Carnisoar: You cannot defeat me. Dai Shi: I'm not done trying. Dai Shi and Carnisoar battled. Carnisoar: You better try harder. Dai Shi generated flames as he power himself even more. Dai Shi: Black lion lunge. But it was not enough. Carnisoar blasted Dai Shi and he hit the ground. Carnisoar: Done yet? Dai Shi: Not until you've felt my full force. Dai Shi used all of his power against Carnisoar, and Dai Shi was defeated. Dai Shi lost his armor as he hit the ground. Dai Shi asked Carnisoar if he would train him. Dai Shi wants to know why he has continued to fail. Carnisoar tells him it is because he still has a human heart. In order for Dai Shi to become completely evil, all humanity must be erased from him. Carnisoar takes Dai Shi's arm and they transport back to Jarrod's past. Their first stop is Jarrod's grammar school. They see Jarrod as a young boy. Dai Shi explains how there was going to be a test and one of the students had stolen the answers. The student had asked Jarrod to take a peek, but Jarrod had refused. When Carnisoar asks him why, Dai Shi tells him because cheating is wrong. Carnisoar points out if he had cheated, he wouldn't have failed. Carnisoar uses his power and changes the scenario. This time Jarrod walks up to the students and studies the answers to the test. A bit of humanity is erased from Dai Shi's human heart. Next, Carnisoar and Dai Shi are at a farm house. Dai Shi recognizes the family before him as the Fishers. The Fishers had been kind to young Jarrod, who had lived down the street. Jarrod's parents did not have much time for him and Jarrod often found himself at the Fishers instead. Jarrod had even raised money to save the Fishers' home when Mr. Fisher had lost his job. Carnisoar changes all that, despite Dai Shi's protests. Carnisoar changes the past so that Jarrod never raised any money. The Fishers are gone and their home in shambles. Dai Shi loses more of his humanity. There is one more stop for them. This time it's at a playground. Jarrod is getting beaten up by several other school boys. Dai Shi has had enough and wants to leave. Carnisoar asks why Jarrod had not defended himself, he already knew kung fu. Dai Shi replies their code was to never hurt a lesser opponent. Dai Shi wants to keep the code. Carnisoar points out he no longer keeps the code now, why keep it as a child. Carnisoar changes Jarrod's past once more. This time Jarrod defends himself and defeats several of the now terrified boys. Young Jarrod and Dai Shi both roar as more evil consumes them. Dai Shi and Carnisoar entered Dai Shi's lair. Camille is there. Camille is happy to see Dai Shi, not happy that he has brought along a menacing friend. Carnisoar tells Camille to call him Master. Carnisoar points out that Camille had failed at getting rid of the humans and should be punished. Camille claims she was working on her own and Dai Shi hasn't done any better. Dai Shi has a powerful bolt of power in his hand. Camille quickly takes refuge behind a pole as the power blasts misses her. Carnisoar tells Dai Shi to forget about the underling, they need to start on his training.

Camille hid behind a pole and watch as Dai Shi, in his armor, and Carnisoar faced each other. Carnisoar: Focus the evil within. Channel your power. Dai Shi and Carnisoar battled. At one point, Carnisoar managed to knock Dai Shi against a pole. But Dai Shi recovered quickly. Dai Shi: Heads up Carnisoar! The battle continue. Eventually Dai Shi hit the ground and lost his armor. Carnisoar: Only when you are full of hate, can you defeat me. Carnisoar was about to strike Dai Shi again, when Camille came racing forward. Camille: No! Dai Shi! Dai Shi looked at Camille, surprised at her concern. Carnisoar was angry. Carnisoar: You pestering lizard! You are a nuisance and a distraction. Camille began to back away. Carnisoar looked at the fallen Dai Shi. Carnisoar: And you are not powerful enough yet. You leave me no choice. I must call forth Bai Lai and Carden. They will do my bidding. Carnisoar used his wings to communicate. Dai Shi stood up and went and stood beside Camille. They silently watched as Bai Lai and Carden entered the lair. Bai Lai & Carden: Who summon us? Bai Lai and Carden faced Carnisoar. Carden: Spirit of the Crane! Bai Lai: Spirit of the Crow! Carnisoar: Frighten the population. Use their fear to energize a vortex, that will suck the city from it's roots. Bai Lai and Carden immediately left to do Carnisoar's bidding. But the plan failed and Bai Lai was destroyed by the Power Rangers.

Dai Shi and Carnisoar were training at the temple. Camille stood in the background and watched. Dai Shi was having a tough time against Carnisoar. Carnisoar: You'll have to do better. Carnisoar hit Dai Shi hard enough to make Dai Shi hit a pole and fall to the floor. Carnisoar: Get up! Carnisoar yanked Dai Shi up. Before Dai Shi could get his bearings, Carnisoar knocked him down once more. Carnisoar: Is that all you've got...weakling? Camille quickly stepped forward and in front of Dai Shi. Camille: He is not weak! Carnisoar: You dare interrupt my training. Camille: I don't understand how this passes for training. Carnisoar looked over at Dai Shi, who was still on the floor. Carnisoar: Such disrespect! Have you no control of your underlings? Dai Shi stood up and faced Camille. Dai Shi: Camille, that's enough. You're out of line. Camille: But Dai Shi...Dai Shi was more harsh. Dai Shi: I said that's enough! Carnisoar: That's more like it. Today's lesson...never tolerate in subornation. Carnisoar looked at Camille. Carnisoar: And why don't you use your animal spirit to fade away? You're completely useless. Get out! Camille gave Dai Shi a hurt look. Dai Shi did not defend Camille and Camille walked away. After Camille left, Carden flew and bowed before Carnisoar. Carden: Allow me to destroy the Rangers Carnisoar. They must pay for what they did to Bai Lai. Carnisoar: Your loyalty and respect will be rewarded. Dispose of them as you wish. Carden: Yes Master. Carden flew away. Later, Dai Shi and Carnisoar are training once more when the doors open and a new Master walks in. Dai Shi doesn't know who she is, but Carnisoar recognizes Jellica at once. Jellica tells them a brave young woman revived her. Camille walks in. Camille is very happy to tell Carnisoar he is no longer needed as Jellica will be Dai Shi's new Master. Dai Shi walks over to Camille and asks her what has she done. Camille tells him she has done it for him, to take him to the next level. But Jellica doesn't want to train Dai Shi, she wants to train Camille. Camille refuses. Jellica uses her tentacles to wrap around Dai Shi and causes him great pain. Camille becomes distressed and agrees to be trained by Jellica as long as she lets go of Dai Shi. Jellica is pleased and releases Dai Shi. Camille races over to the hurt Dai Shi. Carnisoar leaves and a giant Jellica makes her appearance in Ocean Bluff. The Rangers try to battle her without success. Jellica causes the Rangers to go flying out of their Megazord and out of the city. The Rangers hits the ground and Jellica hits them with a force. Yellow Ranger had managed to leap out of the way, but Blue Ranger and Red Ranger are stuck in frozen goo and unable to move their feet. Dai, Jellica, and Camille approach. Jellica wants Camille to finish off the Rangers. Yellow Ranger tries to free her friends. Jellica gets angry and strikes Yellow Ranger with one of her tentacles. this causes Yellow Ranger to demorph. Jellica tells Lily she will be the first to go. Camille transforms into her chameleon form and approaches Lily. Lily is still bound by Jellica and can't get away. Lily is fearful as Camille comes closer. Camille cannot bring herself to destroy Lily. Jellica becomes angry and released Lily and strikes Camille. Camille goes flying through the air and hits the ground hard, going back to human form. Lily races over to Camille and asks her if she is okay. Camille tells her to go away. Jellica announces there is no one worthy of being her student. A remark Dai Shi does not care for. Jellica is ready to strike Camille and Lily. Dai Shi dons his armor and stops the staff from striking Camille and Lily. Dai Shi and Jellica zoom over to the ocean and battle each other. Camille has followed and watches them. Dai Shi uses his lion spirit against Jellica and defeats her. Jellica is on the beach as Dai Shi and Camille walk up to her. Dai Shi bows before Jellica, as he wants her to train him. Jellica is ready to train Dai Shi, which was her intention all along. Dai Shi returns to his human form. Jellica sees great potential of evil in Dai Shi. Carnisoar arrives and Jellica taunts him a bit. Carnisoar knows he is not needed anymore and flies away. Jellica and Dai Shi are preparing to leave to begin the training. Camille is following them but Dai Shi stops her. Dai Shi tells Camille she needs to go to the temple and keep an eye on things. Dai Shi and Jellica leave.

Dai Shi and Jellica were training at the temple. Camille was there as well, and she was watching silently. Jellica gave her all to the battle, and Dai Shi was doing well against her. Jellica: You're doing well student. Camille: What do you mean he's doing well. You're breaking his spirit, not training him. Jellica: How dare you! Camille: I will not stand by...Dai Shi: Silence! Camille backed away and didn't say another word. Jellica walked up to Dai Shi and admired him. Jellica: Dai Shi, it takes not only physical stamina to master my technique but also it takes a strong will. I am pleased to say you have both. Dai Shi: It is hard, but the day the Rangers are defeated, all the pain will be worth it. Jellica: Yes and perhaps by the time you finish training, the Rangers won't even be around to bother you. The doors opened and a creature walked in. Jellica: I've brought an old warrior of mine to slice things u for the Ranges while we train. Dai Shi: And what will he do? Jellica: He will open a hole in the ocean floor that will cause total devastation. The creature, Crustacco, left immediately. Camille went as well to protect Crustacco. But the plan failed when Master Finn arrived and defeated Crustacco. Camille and Crustacco returned to the temple. Jellica was upset and blamed Camille for the failure. Camille defends herself by telling them she would have succeed if it wasn't for Master Finn. Dai Shi is upset as well. With a new Master, the Rangers will be more powerful than ever. Jellica tells them Crustacco has the ability to take over someone's body. Dai Shi volunteers to protect Crustacco this time. But Jellica wants Camille to prove herself. Jellica sends Camille and Crustacco out once more. Later, the Rangers were battling Crustacco. Master Finn was watching when Dai Shi arrived and gave him a blow that knocked him aside. Dai Shi was eager to battle Master Finn. Dai Shi don his armor and battled Master Finn with ease. He was about to get rid of the Shark Master when he was kicked aside by RJ. RJ told him if he messes with his father, he messes with him. Master Finn warns RJ that Dai Shi is strong. RJ remarks he is strong too. The Rangers are kept busy battling Crustacco under the water. The Rangers destroy Crustacco. Dai Shi and RJ continued with their battle. RJ unleashes is spirit of the wolf. Dai Shi is defeated, but tells RJ he considers this a draw. Dai Shi vows this isn't the end, tomorrow is another day. RJ replies and tomorrow, today will be yesterday. Dai Shi doesn't know how to respond to that and simply walks away. Dai Shi and Camille return to the temple. Jellica is sitting on the throne. Jellica taunts Dai Shi be telling him it looks like the wolf is mightier than the lion. Jellica, once more, blames Camille for the whole failure of the plan. Camille defends herself by telling Jellica it was her warrior's fault. Dai Shi ha had enough and tells them so. It is apparent to Dai Shi that he needs more training and he walks away.

Inside the temple, Dai Shi and Jellica re training. Dai Shi continues to improve. Camille enters with bad news. Her monster, Mog, was destroyed by the Rangers. Jellica is not happy with Camille and attacks her. Camille transforms into chameleon form. Camille cannot defeat Jellica and she pleads with Dai Shi for his help. At first, Dai Shi does nothing. But then he dons his armor and stops Jellica from striking Camille. Dai Shi tells Jellica that Camille can still be of use. Camille gets tossed to the ground and transforms back to human form. Carnisoar flies in and he is pleased with the progress Jellica has made with Dai Shi. Carnisoar and Jellica use their power to bring forth the Shadow Guards. Carnisoar wants Dai Shi to take the Shadow Guards and destroy the Power Rangers once and for all. Dai Shi, Camille and the Shadow Guards leave. Dai Shi is ready for the Rangers and calls out to them. Dai Shi is enveloped n power. Casey, Lily, and Theo arrive. Dai Shi tells them he is surprised they had come and then dons his armor. Dai Shi immediately attacks the teens. Casey, Theo, and Lily are knocked off their feet. The teens quickly morph. Red Ranger and Blue Ranger battle the Shadow Guards. Yellow Ranger faces Dai Shi on her own. Yellow Ranger uses her Jungle Mace against Dai Shi, but Dai Shi easily deflects the weapon. Yellow Ranger and Dai Shi continue to battle until Dai Shi defeats Yellow Ranger. Red Ranger is still battling the Shadow Guards when Blue Ranger takes on Dai Shi. Blue Rangers uses his Jungle Fans, but once more, Dai Shi easily deflects the weapon. Dai Shi battles Blue Ranger with ease and soon defeats him as well. Red Ranger takes on Dai Shi next. Red Ranger uses his Shark Sabers. Dai Shi easily defeats them. Red Ranger then calls forth his Strike Rider and uses it against Dai Shi. Dai Shi knocks Red Ranger off his bike with ease. The Rangers gather together and use the Claw Cannon against Dai Shi. Dai Shi deflects the blow easily. Flanked by the Shadow Guards, Dai Shi uses his power to knock the Rangers off their feet once more. The Rangers demorph as they hit the ground. Dai Shi goes back to his human form. Dai Shi is gathering power in his hand and tells the teens to say hi to Master Moa for him. Suddenly RJ appears. Dai Shi is more than happy to see the Wolf Master Once more. Dai Shi makes a deal with RJ. He will spare the Ranges if RJ turns himself in. It doesn't take long for RJ to place his students ahead of him. RJ agrees and then tells the teens they know what to do. Lily tells him no, but RJ has already made the deal. Dai Shi is thrilled with his victory and allows himself a grin as the Shadow Guards take RJ. Dai Shi, Camille, and the Shadow Guards walk away with RJ. Dai Shi proudly enters the temple, trailed by Camille, the Shadow Guards and RJ. Carnisoar and Jellica are there. Carnisoar tells Dai Shi he truly is an agent of evil. Dai Shi wants to destroy RJ in front of them as a gift. Light heartily, RJ comments that he has never been a gift before. Jellica decides to make an event of Dai Shi destroying RJ and tells Camille to ready the arena. Camille wonders what will happen if the Rangers find another Master. Jellica tells her that they have had help from the only three remaining ones. There are no more Masters. Everyone laughs. Later, Dai Shi delivers RJ's food tray to his cell. RJ is not thrilled with what is serve and jokes that he had ordered the pizza. Dai Shi wants him to be at full strength and tells him to eat. RJ continues to joke and Dai Shi tell shim to joke while he can. Dai Shi walks away.

Dai Shi was waiting for RJ inside the arena. He paced around the arena until Camille arrived and shoved RJ inside. Camille found a spot for herself outside the arena and watched the battle with great enjoyment. Carnisoar and Jellica were there as well and numerous Rinshi surrounded the outside, all grunting their approval. Dai Shi: At last, I will be tested by someone worthy...a Pai Zhug Master. RJ: I'm not going to fight you. Dai Shi: Yes you will, and when I defeat you, the spirit of the wolf will be mine. Jellica: Now we'll see how our lessons have paid off. Carnisoar: Begin. Dai Shi immediately became infused with tremendous evil and he sent forth his lion spirit. The lion spirit attacked RJ and knock him to the ground. Dai Shi was relentless in battling RJ. Dai Shi rammed RJ along the bars of the arena and tossed him once more to the ground. Dai Shi: Get up! Dai Shi picked up RJ only to knocked him to the ground several more times. RJ lay in a crumpled heap. Dai Shi: Get up and fight me. But RJ refused. Dai Shi became very angry. Dai Shi generated a great powerful orange energy ball in his hand. Dai Shi leaped into the air and he landed in front of RJ. Dai Shi put his hand inside RJ's chest and injured his wolf spirit. With the blow to the wolf spirit, RJ crumpled to the ground. Dai Shi watched him for a moment. Jellica and Carnisoar decided the battle against RJ had not been worth it, but that they could use him to lure the Rangers. Camille triumphantly walked into the arena and stood by Dai Shi, smirking at the pain RJ was in. Dai Shi left and Camille would soon follow him out. Dai Shi, Camille, and the Shadow Guards headed outside. RJ was tied to a pole and guarded by the Shadow Guards. Camille stood close by as Dai Shi called out and challenge the Rangers. The teens arrive and promised Dai Shi that this battle would have a different outcome. The teens morph. Dai Shi donned his armor and the battle began. Camille watched with pleasure as Dai Shi battle the Rangers. Dai Shi unleashed his lion spirit and it knocks the Rangers to the ground. Red Ranger gets up and becomes engulf in power. Red Ranger goes into Jungle Master Mode. Yellow Ranger and Blue Ranger do the same. Camille is not happy and she sends down the Shadow Guards to help Dai Shi. Blue Ranger and Yellow Ranger battle and defeat the Shadow Guards. Red Ranger battles and defeats Dai Shi, causing Dai Shi to go to human form. Camille races to Dai Shi's side. Camille tenderly checks to make sure Dai Shi is okay. The Rangers run over to RJ and untie him. The Shadow Guards grow to giant size. Camille holds Dai Shi in her arms as they watch the battle. Along with their new Jungle Master Mode, the Rangers have three new zords. The Penguin, the Gorilla, and the Antelope zords. Flit appears and comments on the battle. The zords battle the Shadow Guards and destroy one of them. The remaining Shadow Guard absorbs his fallen brother's power. Dai Shi and Camille get up. They cling to each other as they continued to watch the battle. The Rangers form their new Jungle Master Megazord. The battle continues and the last Shadow Guard is destroyed. Dai Shi and Camille are upset and leave together.

Dai Shi was inside his temple, battling several Rinshi. As he battle he thought of the last battle against Red Ranger. Red Ranger: That was easy. The memory of losing that battle was painful to Dai Shi. Red Ranger: Now who's the top cat? Camille was there as well. Dai Shi destroyed the Rinshi. Camille: If you keep this up, there won't be any warriors left to fight the Rangers. Dai Shi just grunted in reply. Camille: We're aren't without our tricks. Camille snapped her fingers and Hamhock entered. Hamhock: At your service. Dai Shi: Keep the Rangers busy. Hamhock: Yes, Master. Hamhock left as Jellica and Carnisoar was entering. Hamhock almost bumped into Jellica. Jellica: Out of the way. Hamhock left and Carnisoar and Jellica entered. Dai Shi was not happy to see them. Dai Shi: What kind of Masters are you? You taught me all you know, and still the Rangers defeat me. Carnisoar was in disbelief. Carnisoar: You're blaming us? Dai Shi battled Carnisoar and Jellica. Dai Shi was defeated and knocked to the floor. Camille raced over to his side. Jellica: You forget your place. Don't make that mistake again. Carnisoar and Jellica proceeded to walk out the room. Carnisoar: Still, he's right. Jellica: What do you mean? Carnisoar: We need to find a source of greater power to destroy the Rangers. Hamhock failed and was destroyed by the Rangers. After the battle, Camille entered with another Rinshi. Dai Shi was sitting on his throne when they entered. Camille: Still smells like smoked ham. Poor Hamhock. But don't worry Dai Shi, Rinshi Porcupine has quills with special powers. Dai Shi: Let's hope he's got a good aim. Go! Porcupongo leaves. Carnisoar and Jellica walk in. They have a different plan. Carnisoar and Jellica feel Grizzaka should be brought back. Dai Shi is against the idea, he doesn't trust Grizzaka. But Carnisoar and Jellica are insistent. Carnisoar gives Camille the final bracelet for Grizzaka. Carnisoar then gives Camille the life talon and tells her to be careful. Camille glances at Dai Shi for approval and he gives a small nod. Camille leaves. The Rangers destroyed Porcupongo. After the battle, Dai Shi paced inside the temple. Carnisoar and Jellica were there. Dai Shi was anxious about Camille and wondered what was taking Camille so long. Jellica marveled over how the Rangers have managed their new power so quickly. This does not sit well with Dai Shi. Jellica also points out that Grizzaka blames Dai Shi for the failure of the last battle. Grizzaka despises humans and considers them weak, and Dai Shi is now human.

Dai Shi is inside his temple, sitting on his throne and mediating. Jellica and Carnisoar are there as well. Dai Shi opens his eyes as the doors open. Camille is tossed to the floor by Grizzaka. Grizzaka: My old friends. Camille gets up. Camille: I found him, Overlord Grizzaka. Carnisoar and Jellica gathered around Grizzaka. Dai Shi has turned his back towards them. Carnisoar: It's been ten thousand years. Jellica: It's good to have you back. Grizzaka: Really...liars! Grizzaka attacks Carnisoar and Jellica and sends them flying towards the floor. Grizzaka approaches the throne and bows. Grizzaka: I plead my loyalty Dai Shi. Dai Shi turns around and faces Grizzaka. Grizzaka: Human...Dai Shi...within a weak human form. Dai Shi: I gave you life again, and now you will help me restore my great powers. Grizzaka: No human gives me orders. Grizzaka reaches forward and yanks Dai Shi out of the throne and tosses him aside. Grizzaka: Ten thousand years ago, you ruled us, and we were destroyed! Now you're human, even weaker. From now on, I'm in charge. Dai Shi: You've bitten off more than you can chew. Dai Shi dons his armor. Dai Shi and Grizzaka battle. Dai Shi: Spirit of the lion! Grizzaka defeats the lion spirit. Grizzaka: You're strong Dai Shi, but not strong enough. Grizzaka powers up to even a greater level. Dai Shi: What!? He has Zocato power. Carnisoar: Magnificent, isn't it. Dai Shi: How did he master it? Jellica: It takes great skill. Zocato power is extraordinary. The power hits Dai Shi and he slams against a wall and hits the floor. Dai Shi reverts to his human form. Camille races over to Dai Shi's side. Camille: Dai Shi, are you okay? Grizzaka: Well? Dai Shi slowly looks up. Dai Shi: Zocato. If Grizzaka can master it, so can I. Carnisoar: Please Lord Grizzaka, teach him the secrets of Zocato power. Together you'll be invincible. Camille and Dai Shi are both kneeling. Grizzaka: I'm invincible without him. Jellica: But you will need his Rinshi warriors. Grizzaka: Wrong again. My warrior will lead the Rinshi. Munkeywi! Munkeywi enters the temple. Grizzaka: I have a mission for you, Munkeywi. Gather the humans' fears, so that I may grow stronger. Dai Shi is not happy about this idea. Later, Munkeywi returns and gleefully reports to Grizzaka, who is sitting on the throne, that the Rangers' master has turned into a werewolf and attacked the Rangers. Carnisoar and Jellica praise Grizzaka for accomplishing so much on his first day in control. Dai Shi and Camille are still kneeling. Camille glances at Dai Shi. Dai Shi is annoyed, as he is the one responsible for RJ's condition. Eventually Munkeywi is destroyed by the Power Rangers. Afterwards, Dai Shi is outside training. Dai Shi is frustrated about the Rangers getting stronger and stronger. Dai Shi hollers out his anger and taps into Zocato. Dai Shi realizes what he has done and is confident he can master the skills require for Zocato.

Dai Shi and Camille walked up behind Grizzaka. They were outside the temple. Grizzaka: Zocato! Grizzaka powered up and blasted some stone away. Grizzaka: Awaken my mighty guards! Grizzaka used his power and blasted away some more. Grizzaka: Yes! Grizzaka laughed. Dai Shi was surprised. Camille: It's an army of statues. Two of the guards awoke and landed next to Grizzaka. Grizzaka: It's time to destroy! Camille glanced over at Dai Shi. Dai Shi: When I master the Zocato power, everything around here is going to change. Later, Dai Shi was alone and outside. Dai Shi: If Grizzaka won't teach me to harness my Zocato power, I'll teach myself. Numerous Rinshi appeared. Dai Shi: Perhaps I can harness my Zocato power, if my survival depends on it. Dai Shi dons his armor. Dai Shi: Ready! Dai Shi raced forward and began battling the Rinshi. Dai Shi: Yes, that which does not defeat me, makes me stronger. The spirit of the lion roared. Dai Shi: It's working! But Dai Shi would be disappointed later. He had destroyed all the Rinshi, but still had not managed to harness the power. Dai Shi hears a voice calling for Jarrod. It is Master Mao. Master Mao tells Jarrod to get off the path of evil. Dai Shi insists there is no Jarrod, just him. Master Mao tells him the bond between the human and his animal spirit is a strong bond that no one can break. Not even Dai Shi can break such a nexus. Master Mao vanishes. Dai Shi thinks over what Master Mao has said and now wants to the nexus to get stronger. Dai Shi sarcastically thanks Master Mao as he leaves. Dai Shi returns to the temple and enters a dusty chamber. He is searching for a map to the nexus when Camille walks in. Camille offers her help, she knows the place very well. Dai Shi tells her he is looking for a map for the nexus, the most powerful one. Camille knows he means the nexus of the rhino power. Camille is thrilled that Dai Shi is planning on putting Grizzaka in his place, and gleefully searches for the map.

Dai Shi was kneeling before Grizzaka as Grizzaka sat on the throne. Camille stood close by. Carnisoar and Jellica entered. Carnisoar was not happy. Carnisoar: Grizzaka, you promise us a great victory, where is it? Grizzaka: We'll get it. My Barrakooza is battling the Rangers now. Jellica gave Grizzaka a jar. Jellica: You ask for a spirit. One that can possess a human. Dai Shi stood up. Dai Shi: You're giving him my spirits! Grizzaka laughed at the outrage Dai Shi and couldn't resist taunting him. Grizzaka: They're my spirits now, Dai Shi, and now watch what my spirits can do. Grizzaka removed the lid of the jar and a spirit was released. Grizzaka: Ill winds, blow to the Wolf Ranger. The spirit left. Later, Dai Shi walked silently among a hallway. He stopped and listened as Barrakooza reported to Grizzaka that the spirit had invaded Wolf Ranger and he had attacked his own teammates. Carnisoar and Jellica were there as well and they all laughed. Grizzaka, Carnisoar, and Jellica talked about the previous beast war. Grizzaka vows there will be no humans left this time. Dai Shi makes his vow that he will not be pushed around. Camille had walked up behind Dai Shi. Dai Shi pushed her aside as he walked out. With Flit's help, RJ was able to rid himself of the evil spirit and the Rangers destroyed Barrakooza. Dai Shi was back in the dusty chamber and had found the map he was looking for. Camille walked in. Dai Shi told her he had to try and get to the nexus. Camille wanted to come along and ask. Dai Shi looked at her for a moment and then walked out.

Dai Shi was walking through the jungle. He stopped for a moment and looked at his map. Dai Shi got his bearings and then took off running through the jungle. He was eager to find the nexus. After awhile, Dai Shi stumbled to the ground. He was tired and had been searching for quite some time. Dai Shi glanced up and couldn't believe it. Dai Shi: The nexus. Dai Shi had spotted the nexus in the distance. Dai Shi got up. He was thrilled and eager to prove to Grizzaka that humans were not weak. Dai Shi continued with his journey. The nexus is quite a distance and by the time Dai Shi reaches the entrance, he is exhausted. Dai Shi walks towards the entrance, but a force field keeps him out. Dai Shi is determined and dons his armor and tries once more. Dai Shi tries to batter his way in, but ends up being thrown through the air. Dai Shi lands on the ground and loses his armor. Dai Si can't believe he has come so far, and yet he can't enter.

Dai Shi had no choice, but to return back to the temple. It was a weary journey, and he had just reached a familiar landmark outside the temple. Dai Shi: I made it back. Dai Shi heard familiar laughter and looked around. Suddenly, Jellica was there and she wrapped herself around Dai Shi, keeping him tightly bond. Jellica: Welcome home Dai Shi. Dai Shi struggled to break free as Jellica took him to the throne room. Grizzaka and Carnisoar were there. Jellica: Am I interrupting? Grizzaka looked at Dai Shi. Grizzaka: Well, well, where have you been? Jellica: He had this map. Jellica held up the map. Grizzaka: So you went to the nexus, hoping to control the rhino power. Does he have the control dagger? Jellica: No weapons, only the map. Grizzaka: Of course not. The Pai Zhug has the dagger. This was news to Dai Shi. Grizzaka: Let me tell you a little secret. Grizzaka told Dai Shi you could not enter the nexus without the control dagger. Dai Shi breaks free of Jellica. Dai Shi and Grizzaka battle. After awhile Dai Shi dons his armor and the battle continues. Dai Shi attempts Zocato, but nothing happens. Grizzaka hits him with Zocato and Dai Shi hits the floor and loses his armor. Grizzaka tells Jellica to throw Dai Shi in the dungeon. Jellica picks up Dai Shi and drags him away. Dai Shi is pacing in the dungeon when Camille secretly goes to visit him. Dai Shi tells Camille about the control dagger, but has no idea where it might be. Camille has a good idea on who to ask and then leaves. Much later, Camille returns to the dungeon. Camille quietly slips Dai Shi the control dagger. Dai Shi is very pleased. He breaks out of his cell, with the use of the control dagger. Dai Shi is ready to take on the nexus.
