Tommy was at the Youth Center working out. When he was done, he started to head out. Kimberly was walking backward, towards the door, when she bumped into him. Tommy gives her a look and starts to head out, but Kimberly calls him back. Kimberly asks Tommy if he has seen Jason around? Tommy tells her that he waited for him after school, but he never showed. Kimberly thinks that is weird and tells Tommy that is not like Jason. Being very sarcastic, Tommy guesses that Kimberly is worried about Jason - after all, it is what you do best. Kimberly looks at Tommy like she doesn't understand where all this hate is coming from. Tommy turns away, just as Zack enters. Zack tells him hi, but Tommy only looks at him with contempt and then leaves. Tommy is walking through the park. After awhile, he hears Zack calling him, but ignores him and continues on. Tommy then hides as several Putties arrive. The Putties keep Zack and Kimberly busy and allows Tommy to hide. After Zack and Kimberly defeat the Putties, they give up searching for Tommy and return to the Command Center. Tommy hears Rita's voice tell him it's time. Green Ranger arrives in the Dark Dimension, just as Goldar was about to strike Jason. Goldar is confused, he thought Rita wanted him to destroy Jason. Green Ranger tells Goldar, Rita wants that pleasure to be his. Goldar vanishes. Jason stands up and faces Green Ranger. They circle each other as they talk. Green Ranger tells Jason, so we meet again. Jason doesn't understand - you wear a Green Ranger costume, but your loyalty is to Rita. Green Ranger tells Jason he is her Green Ranger and she is his Empress. Jason yells she's evil. Green Ranger replies, so am I. Green Ranger and Jason fight. Jason gets knocked down to the floor once more. Green Ranger laughs as he tells Jason soon you and your friends will be a memory. Jason kicks out at Green Ranger and then gets up. Green Ranger and Jason fight. Green Ranger tells Jason he is a skilled warrior. Jason wants to end this, he does not want to fight Green Ranger. Green Ranger thinks it's because Jason knows he will win. Jason denies this. Jason tells Green Ranger if he was truly a Ranger, he would be on Zordon's side, not Rita's. Green Ranger tells Jason that Zordon is a memory. Green Ranger and Jason again. Jason gets knocked down to the floor. His morpher is in sight and Jason grabs it. Green Ranger spots this and tells him no you don't. Green Ranger places his boot on Jason's wrist. Jason is unable to get away. Green Ranger laughs. Green Ranger announces it's over, I am the victor. The Sword of Darkness appears in Green Ranger's hands. Green Ranger asks Jason what he thinks of his sword as he swings it above him. Green Ranger tells Jason he is about to pay the price of defeat. Green Ranger tells Jason for what it is worth, you put up a pretty good fight. Green Ranger raises the Sword of Darkness above him and positions it with the tip of the blade facing down. There is a blaze of red, just as Green Ranger brings down the Sword of Darkness. The Sword of Darkness hits the floor seconds after Jason had been teleported away. Green Ranger is furious as he looks around and realizes Jason is gone. Later, a hologram of Goldar's face appear. Goldar blames Green Ranger for letting Jason escape. Green Ranger pointed out that Jason had teleported out, but Goldar still blamed Green Ranger, telling him he had plenty of time to destroy Jason. Goldar told Green Ranger he was to remain in the Dark Dimension. Green Ranger worked out furiously as he waited. He was very eager to return to battle.

Green Ranger is practicing his martial arts with his Sword of Darkness. Green Ranger raises the Sword of Darkness and announces he is ready for battle - he is ready to destroy the Power Rangers. Green Ranger is sent, once more, to the Command Center. Alpha 5 is working on bring Zordon back and doesn't notice him. Green Ranger pulls the plug on Alpha 5. Zordon asks Alpha 5 what is going on and Green Ranger answers him. Zordon tells Green Ranger that evil will never win, but Green Ranger is confident that Rita will win. Green Ranger works the control panels and soon Zordon is gone. Green Ranger is surprise when Alpha 5 suddenly wakes up and traps him in a force field. Green Ranger is furious at first. Alpha 5 works once more on trying to bring back Zordon. Green Ranger taunts Alpha 5, telling him to try all he wants, it will do no good. Alpha 5 pleads with Zordon to come back in. Green Ranger tells Alpha 5 that he will do the same to him. Alpha 5 remarks that Green Ranger is truly evil and it's time to find out who is behind the mask. Moments later, Rita casts a spell that releases Green Ranger from the force field. Green Ranger refers to Alpha 5 as tin head and tells him better luck next time. A giant Green Ranger arrives on the beach. A giant Goldar and Scorpina, in monster form, have been battling the Rangers in the Megazord. Green Ranger joins in the battle, using the Sword of Darkness. Rita's spell has also worked and now there is a solar eclipse. The Megazord is very weak. Green Ranger, Goldar, and Scorpina form a circle around the Megazord and keep circling it. Scorpina uses her stinger and great waves of electricity go through the Megazord. Green Ranger and Goldar use the combine force of their weapons to strike the Megazord. The Rangers are ejected from the Megazord. The Megazord falls into separate zords as they fall into a hole in the ground that is filled with flames. Later, Green Ranger is unaware that in the Command Center is identity is revealed to be Tommy.

Tommy is at the Youth Center working out when Kimberly approaches him. Kimberly tries to talk to Tommy and he ignores her for a moment. Kimberly whispers to him that she knows he is the Green Ranger. Tommy finally acknowledges her. His face is full of hate as he refers to her as the Pink Ranger. Kimberly is surprised that he knows she is the Pink Ranger. Tommy tells her that she should know that you and the rest of the Power Rangers will soon be destroyed. Kimberly pleads with Tommy to let them help him. We can break Rita's spell. Tommy gets up from the exercise equipment. he states that Rita is his empress. She will soon rule the world. Kimberly tries once more to convince Tommy to let them help him. Tommy yanks away her touch and tells her that she has been warned. His eyes flash green and he storms away. Rita has summon Dragonzord from beneath the ocean. Dragonzord immediately starts wrecking the area he emerges from. The Dragonzord is for Tommy. Green Ranger arrives and immediately leaps onto the top of Dragonzord and is ready to destroy the Power Rangers. Soon the Power Rangers arrive. Green Ranger yells surprise and leaps off of Dragonzord and on top of a taller building. Green Ranger commands Dragonzord to destroy the Power Rangers. Green Ranger starts playing his flute. Missiles appear at the end of Dragonzord's fingers. Dragonzord fires and knocks the Power Rangers off the building. The Power Rangers land in an alleyway. The Power Rangers quickly get up as Dragonzord continues it's attack. Red Ranger pleads with Green Ranger to stop, you don't know what you are doing. Green Ranger states he is destroying the Earth because his empress commands it. Soon she will rule the world. Red Ranger screams no! Green Ranger continues his attack. Red Ranger shouts out don't do this! Green Ranger tells them he must, there is no other choice. Green Ranger starts playing his Dragon Dagger again. Dragonzord continues to attack the warehouse district. The ground shakes beneath the Rangers' feet. Dragonzord kicks through several buildings and fires start in several places. Suddenly the Power Rangers are teleported away. Dragonzord leaves the city and enters the mountain area where the Rangers are. Dragonzord and Tyrannosaurs Dinozord battle. Tyrannosaurs Dinozord knocks his tail against Dragonzord. Dragonzord then knocks his tail against Tyrannosaurs. Tyrannosaurs grabs Dragonzord's tail and holds it for a few seconds. Dragonzord breaks free. His missiles come out of his fingertips and he fires them at Tyrannosaurs. Red Ranger pleads with Green Ranger to stop - you don't know what you are doing! Green Ranger does not respond and the battle continues. Dragonzord spins around and uses his tail to knock Tyrannosaurs down to the ground. Tyrannosaurs quickly gets back up and takes a flying leap at Dragonzord. Tyrannosaurs hits Dragonzord in the chest with his feet. Dragonzord is knocked to the ground. The Megazord is formed, first in tank mode and then quickly into battle mode. The Megazord walks over to where Dragonzord is laying. The Megazord picks up Dragonzord and holds it above it's head. the Megazord spins around for a few turns and then lets go of Dragonzord. The Megazord then has it's Power Sword and battles Dragonzord with it. The Megazord grabs Dragonzord by the end of it's tail and spins it around. The Megazord then lets go of Dragonzord. Dragonzord goes flying into a mountain, knocking a good portion of it off. Dragonzord lays on the ground. Red Ranger tells Green Ranger to give up. Green Ranger replies no way. Red Ranger tells Green Ranger he is sorry it has to be this way, but Zordon had told him he's got to destroy Green Ranger's sword in order to save Green Ranger, before Green Ranger and Rita destroy the world. Red Ranger leaps out of the Megazord. Green Ranger gets out of Dragonzord. Red Ranger has his Power Sword. Green Ranger combines the power of his Dragon Dagger and Sword of Darkness. The blast knocks Red Ranger off his feet. Green Ranger and Red Ranger battle with their weapons. Red Ranger is knocked off his feet. Red Ranger takes out his Blade Blaster. Green Ranger starts playing his Dragon Dagger. Red Ranger fires at Green Ranger with the Blade Blaster. It does nothing to Green Ranger. Instead Red Ranger is knocked off his feet once more. Red Ranger gets back up. Green Ranger and Red Ranger battle each other with their weapons once more. Green Ranger knocks Red Ranger aside. Green Ranger announces that it is now time for him to destroy Red Ranger. I must be victorious for my queen! Green Ranger places the tip of the Sword of Darkness into the ground. The blast goes straight to Red Ranger and knocks him off his feet. Red Ranger throws his Power Sword at Green Ranger. Green Ranger is knocked to the ground and both of his weapons fly out of his hands. Red Ranger tells him it's all over. Red Ranger uses his Blade Blaster and fires it at the Sword of Darkness as Green Ranger tries to reach for it. The Sword of Darkness is destroyed. Green Ranger demorphs. Tommy lays on the sand, confused. The Power Rangers demorph. Jason runs over to where Tommy is laying. Jason asks Tommy if he is okay? Tommy asks Jason what has happened to him? Jason tells him you are no longer under Rita's power. Tommy's head is spinning. Jason helps Tommy up. Jason tells Tommy you will be okay. Tommy has his doubts - what have I done? Jason tells him what you did, you did under Rita's influence. You own the power now. Fight by our side, and we can defeat Rita. Tommy feels really bad for what he did. Tommy asks Jason after everything that has happened? Zack, Kimberly, Trini, and Billy join them. Jason tells Tommy we need you - it's where you belong. Tommy looks over at Kimberly and Billy and they nod their heads in agreement. Jason asks Tommy if he will join them and holds out his hand. Tommy takes it and they shake hands. Tommy and his new friends morph. Zordon's voice reaches them. With our new friend, comes new power. The Dragon Dagger floats towards Green Ranger, and Green Ranger grabs it. Zordon instructs Green Ranger to use his flute and bring new life to the Dragonzord. Dragonzord stands up. Triceratops, Sabretooth tiger, and Mastodon race towards Dragonzord. Dragonzord combines with Mastodon, Triceratops, and Sabretooth Tiger dinozords to form Dragonzord Fighting Mode. The Rangers admire Dragonzord in Fighting Mode. Zordon's voice tells them the safety of the universe is once again in your hands, Power Rangers. Tommy, Kimberly, Trini, Billy, Jason, and Zack are at the Command Center. Jason tells Zordon they missed him. Zack adds that morale was pretty low without him. Zordon tells them the fact remains, that even as you faced your greatest danger, with all the odds stacked against you, you carried on like true super heroes and persevere. Trini tells Zordon they really owe a lot to Alpha 5. Alpha 5 is flattered by the compliment. Zordon tells Alpha 5 you displayed exceptional leadership abilities in my absence. I am very proud of you. alpha 5 becomes very flustered and walks away. Zordon then welcomes Tommy. Tommy steps in the front of the group as Zordon tells him the three basic rules of being a Power Ranger. One: Never use your power for personal gain. Second: Never escalate a battle, unless Rita forces you. Finally: Keep your identity a secret. No one must know you are a Power Ranger. Tommy tells Zordon you can count on me. Billy walks up to Tommy and presents him with his own communicator. Tommy is touched and thanks Billy. Jason walks up and tells Tommy you are one of us now and welcomes him aboard. Zordon tells them a new chapter has begun. Let the Power protect you. Tommy, Trini, Zack, Jason, Kimberly, and Billy form a semi circle. Jason places his hand in the center. Kimberly then places her hand on top of Jason, followed by Zack, Trini, Billy, and finally Tommy. the teens leap into the air and shout out Power Rangers!

Tommy and his friends are at the park. Zack and Jason are playing basketball. Tommy is standing by the court, cheering them both on. Kimberly, Trini, and Billy are sitting on a picnic table, also cheering the guys on. Zack makes an incredible long shot. Kimberly, Trini, and Billy cheer. Kimberly shouts out totally styling move, Zack. Jason steps out and Tommy starts playing basketball against Zack. Jason watches for awhile. Jason then joins in, teaming up with Tommy to try and defeat Zack. Zack knocks the basketball out of Tommy's hand and accidentally knocks Tommy down. Tommy is knocked down. Zack helps him up. The basketball rolls out onto the grass. Suddenly several Putties arrive. Tommy and his friends notice them immediately and start fighting them. Eventually Zack leads them away from his friends as he races across the court and makes a basket. The Putties chase after Zack. Tommy, Kimberly, Trini, Billy, and Jason race after the Putties and surround them. The Putties suddenly vanish. Tommy tells his friends he is late for karate practice and he will meet with them later. Tommy takes off. Tommy goes to the Youth Center to practice. He gives an intense workout with his bo staff. After he is finished, Tommy walks over to his gym bag and towels down. He hears his communicator go off. Tommy takes a quick look around and then walks to the entryway. It is Jason and he needs Tommy's help. Tommy morphs. Green Ranger entered the city and quickly summon Dragonzord with his Dragon Dagger. Red Ranger had been battling a giant Shellshock with Tyrannosaurus Dinozord. Green Ranger and Red Ranger worked together with their zords as they battled Shellshock. Eventually they destroyed Shellshock. After the battle, Tommy and his friends return to the park. Tommy is ready to play basketball against Zack - the loser buys lunch. Tommy and Zack play and Zack wins the game. Billy then steps in and wants to play against Zack. Zack is reluctant. Billy suggests that the loser buy both lunches. Zack decides to go ahead. Billy and Zack play basketball. Billy gets the ball fairly quickly and wins the game. Tommy, Kimberly, Trini, and Jason cheer for Billy.

Tommy was at school. Trini and Billy have part of the hall cornered off as they try to get signatures on a petition. The petition is to save the Forest Spirit statue. A crowd of students have gathered, including Tommy, Kimberly, Jason, Zack, and Bulk & Skull. Bulk wants to know what's the big deal? Trini explains the big deal is the city council wants to tear down the statue and put in a barbecue pit. Bulk is all for the idea - maybe they'll get some decent chicken and ribs. Skull repeats this, which annoys Bulk. Trini tells the crowd it's not good. Everyone has forgotten why the statue has been put up in the first place. Billy tells the crowd, according to the legend, the Forest Spirit forms a buffer against harmful arthropods. No one knows what Billy means. Trini explains - to protect all of us from bad insects. Zack is standing by a table that has several containers set up with different insects in each one. There are a couple of pictures of the statue as well. Zack is all for that, cause crawlers give him the heebie jeebies. Trini walks over and points out the flower on the picture of the statue. The flower in her hair is to remind us that most insects are helpful to humans. Moments later, Bulk is tossing the containers of insects onto the students. The students start screaming and running. Zack really freaks out when he spots a large spider on his shoulder. Tommy hears him screaming and runs over. Trini is trying to help Zack, but she can't get close enough. Tommy tells Zack to hold still as he aims his notebook at Zack. The spider jumps off just as Tommy slams his notebook onto Zack's shoulder - which hurts a lot. The following day, Tommy is outside as he practices his karate. His communicators goes off. The rest of the Rangers need him. Green Ranger arrives with his Dragonzord. The rest of the Rangers had been battling a giant Spidertron and having a difficult time. Dragonzord battles Spidertron and also has a difficult time. Dragonzord in Fighting Mode is formed. The battle continues and Spidertron is destroyed. The next day, Tommy and his friends are back in school. Tommy, Kimberly, Billy, Jason, and Zack have gathered at the bottom of the stairs. Trini and Billy are standing on the top of the stairs. Trini announces that thanks to their petition, the city council has decided to declare the Forest Spirit statue a historical landmark. The students cheer. Trini and Billy join their friends. Tommy places a fake spider on Zack's left shoulder as he asks him if this experience has helped him overcome his fear of spiders. Zack confidently replies that he is definitely over his fear of spiders. Tommy tells him that is good, because there is a large one on his shoulder. At first Zack thinks Tommy is joking until he takes a look. Zack starts screaming and trying to shake it off. Tommy laughs as he removes the spider and tells Zack to calm down, it's only a fake. Tommy adds that he is really glad to see that Zack has overcome his fear of spiders. Everyone laughs.
