JACK

Jack Landors - The Red Space Patrol Delta B Squad Power Ranger

Jack Landors and his friend Z had been stealing and giving to the poor for five years.  Jack enjoyed the challenge and got a great deal of satisfaction helping the needy.  Jack and Z were running, having stolen some items, when they were stopped by the S.P.D.  This didn't' faze either one much and they took off running.  Jack and Z gave the three S.P.D. cadets quite a challenge.  Two of the S.P.D. cadets thought they had Jack cornered, but he simply went through the building.  Jack reemerge and laughed, along with Z, at the S.P.D. cadets before taking off again.  Jack and Z were soon giving to the needy and had just finish when an alien walked up.  Jack told the alien that they had just finish and the alien walked away sadly.  Jack stopped the alien and gave him the jacket that he was wearing.  Jack and Z sat down together.  Z told Jack that she loved him like a brother, but she was tired of being Robin Hood.  Z wanted to do something bigger to help.  Jack told her if she found it to let him know.  But Z was serious.  Jack realized this and accepted.  He talked Z into doing one more job and Z reluctantly agreed.  That evening, Jack and Z loaded racks of clothing from a warehouse onto a truck.  When they were finished, Z was very firm on not wanting to steal again.  They were stopped by another alien, who was in a state of panic.  The alien gave Jack a silver container and a warning and then quickly took off.  Z asked Jack why do all the nuts in the world find him.  Jack replied that he was just lucky he guessed.  They took off in their truck.  The following day, Jack and Z passed out clothing to the needy.  They had just finished up and Jack found the silver container.  It couldn't feed or clothe anyone and as far as Jack was concern, it had no valuable and he tossed it into a trash can.  Jack jumped off the truck and asked Z if she didn't feel good about helping.  Z was adamant that she wanted out.  Suddenly they were stopped by the same S.P.D. cadets again.  Jack was ready to face them.  Jack and Z fought the three cadets (Sydney, Sky, and Bridge) again, but this time they were on the losing end.  Jack and Z tried to make a run for it, but they were stopped again.  Sky was about to arrest them when suddenly the three cadets were surrounded by Krybots and a Bluehead.  Jack and Z immediately took advantage of the situation and took off.  After they had gone some way, Jack began to feel bad.  He stopped and Z asked him why.  Jack told her that the three cadets were really outnumbered.  Z reminded Jack that they had been ready to arrest them, but Jack didn't care.  Jack began to run back towards the three and Z reluctantly joined Jack.  Jack and Z helped the three cadets fight off the Krybots.  Afterwards, Bridge and Syd thanked them for their help.  Sky told Jack that they were still under arrest.  Jack and Sky glared at each other.  Commander Cruger arrived and ask Sky to stand down.  Jack and Z were taken to a cell at S.P.D. headquarters.  They sat alone for awhile until Commander Cruger walked in.  Commander Cruger offered them the opportunity to join the team and become Power Rangers.  Jack wanted nothing to do with it, but to his surprise Z accepted.  Jack sat alone in his cell.  Z returned and brought him some food.  Jack commented on her "costume" and Z told him it was her uniform.  Z tried to talk Jack into joining the Rangers, but Jack told her never.  Z left and Jack was alone again.  Jack tried to break out of the cell, but he had no luck, being watch by RIC.  Jack saw and smelled smoke and with RIC's help, Jack got out of the cell.  He raced to a room and with RIC and a fire extinguisher, he put out the fire.  The young man, Boom, didn't even realized he was on fire.  Boom had been testing the fire proof suit that Kat had designed.  Boom assumed that Jack was the new Ranger, but Jack told him no.  Boom thought he was nuts to not want to be a Ranger.  Jack walked along inside the building and stopped when he noticed Commander Cruger talking to the Rangers.  Jack could see on the screen that the Rangers were having troubles.  Jack's immediate thought was for Z and he took off.  Jack soon found the Rangers and asked them if they wanted help.  They replied yes and Jack morphed into the Red Ranger.  Jack took on the Krybots and made quick work of them.  Soon a large robot appeared, but Commander Cruger asked Squad B to stand down and let Squad A take over in their zord.  Jack was very grateful to not have to fight the giant robot and thanked Commander Cruger.  Squad A Power Rangers destroyed the giant robot.  Later, the Squad B Rangers returned to headquarters.  Commander Cruger had been impressed with their fighting skills, but informed them that because they did not follow orders, Emperor Gruumm had gotten hold of the proton accelerator and now had unlimited access in the universe.  Commander Cruger dismiss them except for Jack and Z.  Commander Cruger felt the two should still pay for their crimes.  Jack and Z were given the taunting task of cleaning all the windows at headquarters.  Jack and Z agreed to split the job in half.  But Jack quickly changed his mind when Z began duplicating herself.  Jack told Z it wasn't fair and they were soon splashing water at each other.

Jack was hidden in a parking garage, waiting for a signal from squad leader to move in on the two thieves that were trying to steal a car.  Sky asked squad leader if they should move in and Jack anxiously waited to hear squad leader's response, which never came.  Sydney went ahead and busted the two thieves and the two thieves made a run for it.  Jack went after the thieves, but on the way, bumped into Sky.  Jack and Sky glared at each other and argued a bit.  Bridge, Syd, and Z returned with the captured two thieves.  Jack was upset, he wanted to be in on the arrest.  He blamed the blotch job on squad leader and Sky, for once, agreed with him.  Jack asked who squad leader was and got disbelieving looks from Syd, Z, and Bridge.  Sky informed Jack that he was squad leader.  The following morning, Jack was awoken by several alarms.  He sleepily entered the meeting that Commander Cruger was holding a meeting.  Jack asked why all the alarms and Syd inform him of a galactic invasion.  Commander Cruger announced that Squad B would be protecting Earth and asked Jack if he was ready to lead the team.  Still sleepy Jack replied that he was.  Commander Cruger dismissed everyone and they all left, except Jack.  Jack told Boom that this was not what he had signed up for.  Boom couldn't understand it - he would be so psyche if he was the Red Ranger.  Jack told Boom that he would be psyche if he was the Pink Ranger and Boom agreed.  Boom told Jack that as the Red Ranger he was the big cheese - Jack could tell the other Rangers what to do and they had to do it.  Jack asked if it was true with a smile on his face.  Jack decided to try out his new position on the girls.  He entered their room and interrupted their arguing.  Jack told them to clean up their room.  Z thought he was joking, but Jack quoted from the rule book how all Rangers must follow the Red Ranger's orders.  Jack ordered them to clean the room before going into training.  Jack decided he liked being the Red Ranger and soon had several cadets doing his bidding.  He was stretched out reading a comic book when Commander Cruger walked in.  Jack hid the comic book under a pillow while Commander Cruger questioned him about Squad B's training session.  Jack replied that he had sent the Rangers to the mud/swamp five mile course for training.  Commander Cruger commented that it was a difficult course and then asked Jack if he was training by reading a comic book.  Jack was a little embarrassed, but replied that as the leader, he had made the executive decision for some me time.  A cadet came in with Jack's laundry that he had done.  Jack told the cadet to next time wash in cold water, as it kept the reds bright.  A female cadet entered with a tray of food and reminded Jack that he had promised to show her close contact defensive drills later.  Jack replied that a promise is a promise - with a sheepish grin on his face.  Commander Cruger commented that Jack had discovered the benefits of being a leader and Jack told him who knew.  Later, Jack waited in a lounge chair as the Rangers finished the mud/swamp course.  He was surprised that they had finished as early as they had.  None of the Rangers were happy with him and they were covered in mud.  Jack told them a little mud never hurt anyone.  Z asked him why he hadn't joined them and Jack replied that he was the Red Ranger.  Sky pointed out that he had missed weapons class, along with other classes.  Jack stood up and told Sky that he didn't realized that it was the Blue Ranger's job to keep tabs on him.  Sky didn't say anything else.  Jack told them it was understandable that they were a little edgy.  He gave them five minutes to clean up before martial arts class.  Bridge, Syd, and Z left wearily.  Sky started to leave and mumbled under his breath that Jack shouldn't be leader.  Jack told Sky that he heard that.  Sky walked up to Jack and told him that he may be wearing the color red, but that he was no leader before walking off.  Soon, another alarm went off and all the Rangers were having a meeting with Commander Cruger and Kat.  Commander Cruger gave them zords and they were excited and nervous.  Jack told them to just follow his lead.  Commander Cruger asked the team if they would follow Jack's leadership and if anyone had any reservations to speak now.  Sky raised his hand.  Jack immediately told the group that Sky was jealous because he was not the Red Ranger.  Syd told Jack it was nothing personal and Bridge told Jack that he thought he was a great friend, but not a leader.  Jack was offended and asked Z to tell them he was a great leader, but Z couldn't.  Commander Cruger told the group that the team had spoken and asked Jack to turn in his morpher.  Angrily, Jack turned in his morpher and resentfully watched as the rest of the Rangers left to battle the monster inside the robot.   Jack watched the viewing screen with Commander Cruger.  The Rangers were not doing well and Jack felt frustrated.  Jack told Commander Cruger he was their leader.  Commander Cruger told Jack that a leader sets the example and asked him if he had set an example the other Rangers could respect.  Jack told Commander Cruger no, that he had taken advantage of his leadership.  Jack wanted to join the other Rangers and Commander Cruger told him to go and toss his morpher to him.  Jack morphed and joined the other Rangers.  They soon captured the monster.  Later, as Commander Cruger held a meeting with the other Rangers, Jack put himself through the mud/swamp training course.

Jack was playing light ball with Z, Sydney, and Bridge.  One of his throws got Bridge cornered.  Jack apologize and told him it was nothing personal.  The alarms went off and the game ended.  Jack and his friends morphed and went into action.  A monster, in his robot equipment, was attacking the city.  Sky wanted to form the megazord right away, but Jack didn't want to.  A agreement broke out between the two.  Jack, against his better judgment, formed the megazord.  The Rangers battled the monster, but the monster managed to disappeared.  Jack and his friends returned to headquarters.  Jack walked alongside Sky, they were still arguing.  Sky was insisted that if they had formed the megazord earlier, they could have arrested the monster.  Jack told Sky he didn't know that for sure and that Sky should spend a little more time with the team.  They walked into a room where Syd, Z, Bridge, and Kat were waiting.  Kat interrupted their argument by telling them to fight the enemy, not themselves.  Kat announced that they had added more arsenal and unveiled two new bikes for Jack and Bridge.  Jack was excited and told Bridge it looked like Christmas came earlier.  Bridge told Jack that he was Jewish, but that he could say Hanukah came earlier.  Jack was agreeable.  Commander Cruger walked into the room and asked the Rangers to gathered around.  Commander Cruger played a hologram message from the Squad A Power Rangers.  It was obvious that the Squad A Rangers were in trouble.  The hologram ended and Commander Cruger feared that the Squad A Rangers had been eliminated.  Jack was stunned, along with his friends.  Later, an alarm went off again.  The Rangers were sent to stop Krybots from stealing diamonds from a warehouse.  Jack and Bridge used their new bikes as the rest of the Rangers followed along in their vehicles.  The path to the warehouse was covered with Krybots.  Jack and Bridge used their bikes and weapons to destroy the Krybots and clear a path to the warehouse for Syd, Z, and Sky.  After they had destroyed the last of the Krybots, Jack and Bridge joined the others at the warehouse.  They were trying to stop the timer on the teleportation device on top of the container of diamonds.  Jack blown the timer away and pleased with himself at having stopped the timer.  Several more Krybots appeared and the Rangers went into battle again.  During the battle, the container of diamonds was blown up.  After the second set of Krybots were destroyed, the Rangers gathered around.  Sky thought someone should stay behind and watch the diamonds as the others reported back to Commander Cruger.  Bridge raised his hand to volunteer.  Jack ignored him and thanked Sky for volunteering.  Sky told him he wasn't volunteering.  Jack replied that he then ordered him to stay and watch the diamonds.  Sky was not happy.  Jack began to leave when Syd asked him if she could stay as well.  Jack agreed and told her to keep Sky company.  Jack, Bridge, and Z returned to Headquarters and gave Commander Cruger the report.  Kat was there as well.  They were all trying to figure out why Emperor Gruumm wanted the diamonds.  No one took Bridge's suggestion of an engagement ring seriously.  Kat came up with the answer.  Kat told the group diamonds, properly converted, can perform like Killarian crystals and form energy.  The alarm went off again.  Jack, Bridge, and Z morphed and went into action battling the same monster as before.  Sky checked in and Jack told him to stay where he was, but to send Syd as backup.  Eventually, Syd and Sky showed up.  Jack was furious that Sky had come as well.  Sky did not care and practically took on the monster himself.  Sky arrested the monster.  Later, Jack walked to Sky's room.  He knocked on the door and asked Sky how it went with Commander Cruger.  Sky told him it had been brutal.  Jack asked if he could come in and Sky told him to suit himself.  Jack walked in and sat down on the bed opposite Sky.  He paused for a moment and then told Sky that he was pretty sure that the Krybots would come back and that he had wanted Sky to stay because he was their strongest fighter.  Sky did not believe him.  Jack told him that he understood that Sky did not trust him - he still didn't trust himself, but he was willing to work with Sky, if Sky was willing to work with him.  Sky replied that bumping heads wasn't working and agreed to work with Jack.  Jack and Sky stood up and Jack started to leave.  He turned around and asked Sky if he would like to join them in a game of light ball.  At first, it looked like Sky would refuse, but then Sky told him he would not only play, but win.  Jack smiled and the two of them walked out together.

Jack was at a meeting in the command center with Commander Cruger and the rest of the Rangers.  Commander Cruger told them that several citizens had gone missing in the industrial district.  Syd volunteered to search the industrial district while the rest of the Rangers monitored for alien activity.  RIC began to harass Syd and Syd became annoyed.  Commander Cruger confided that soon RIC would be deactivated as his parts were no longer made.  Jack, Bridge, Sky, and Z were upset over the news - only Syd was ready to see him go.  Later, Commander Cruger held another meeting.  Jack, Sky, Z, and Syd were all there.  Commander Cruger reported that more citizens had gone missing.  Commander Cruger noted that Cadet Carson was not in the room and asked where he was.  Moments later, Bridge and Boom came in and introduced RIC Version 2.0.  Bridge and Boom had upgraded RIC for a CD player, refrigerator, project, along with an upgrade in the weapons and tracking systems.  Syd asked RIC to sniff a vial of green slime and asked if he could find some more.  RIC burst through the door in his eagerness to track the scent.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers left in their vehicles and followed RIC.  RIC stopped at open field and began to sniff the ground.  Syd excitedly grab a shovel and began digging at the spot that RIC had been sniffing.  Jack, Bridge, Sky, and Z watched in amusement as Syd dig.  After some time, with no results, Jack told Syd to give it up.  Syd was discouraged at first.  Bridge called RIC over and Jack, Bridge, Sky, and Z left.  Syd continued digging.  At headquarters, Jack enjoyed a cool drink from RIC's refrigerator as Bridge went over while RIC had failed.  RIC became agitated and Jack and his friends saw on the viewing screen that Syd was in trouble.  Jack and his friends morphed and left to help RIC.  Syd was battling a monster.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers joined Syd.  Syd was ready to continue the battle, but Jack told her to let RIC handle it.  RIC transforms into the Canine Cannon mode.  Syd arrested the monster and the Rangers returned to headquarters.  Jack told the group that it was another case solved by the brilliant B squad.  The Rangers were summoned to the commander center and Jack assumed that they had something wrong.  The Rangers entered the commander center and discovered that Commander Cruger was having a ceremony to commentate RIC for a job well done.

Jack and the rest of the Rangers were in a meeting with Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger was showing them a hologram of Squad A Rangers.  Commander Cruger told them that despite an all out search, there was still no word on Squad A's fate and they were now considered Missing In Action.  Jack volunteered his team to go search for them.  Commander Cruger appreciated the sentiment, but the Squad B Rangers were needed on Earth.  Commander Cruger gave them their next assignment to stop an intergalactic bank robber.  The Rangers were given no description or photo of the bank robber.  An alarm went off and the Rangers morphed and left.  An alien was terrorizing several citizens and told them that if they stop, no one would get hurt.  Jack told the alien the same advice goes to you.  The Rangers battle the alien, but had a difficult time and the alien managed to get away from telling them to stay out of his business.  The Rangers returned to headquarters and filled in Commander Cruger on what had happened.  A hologram of the alien was on displayed.  Z told them the alien was Tri-Ridonian, but having difficulty pronouncing his species, she called him T-Top.  Syd told the group that T-Top had a clean record.  Bridge thought that T-Top was innocent, because of the aura he had read.  As Bridge debated what color T-Top's aura was, Jack tried to hold onto his patience.  Commander Cruger whether T-Top was the bank robber or not, T-Top could not go around terrorizing the city.  The alarm sounded and Commander Cruger sent the Rangers off to Colonial National Bank - where Commander Cruger kept his money.  The Rangers arrived and the bank robber had already done the damage and left.  Jack and his friends looked at the damaged bank.  A young woman asked the Rangers if they needed a witness.  Jack told the group that he was in charge of beautiful witness and hurried over to the young woman.  Jack told the witness that he was Jack and the witness introduced herself as Diane.  Diane described the alien T-Top as the bank robber.  While Jack was listening to Diane and asking questions, Bridge was busy examining Diane's dog.  Diane became annoyed and Jack yanked Bridge to his feet.  He told Bridge that it was not nice to sniff other people's dogs without permission.  Jack told Diane that Bridge hadn't been trained yet.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters.  They were putting together all the pieces and concluded that T-Top was their man.  Syd asked Bridge - who was reading a book - what his thoughts were.  Bridge did not think T-Top was the culprit and used his book as an example.  Bridge told the Rangers that the art work was great, but the book was lame.  Bridge told them you really couldn't judge a book by it's cover.  Jack told the group that was good to know - if they were talking about a book, but they were talking about a crime.  Bridge told them he was too.  Bridge asked Commander Cruger if he could follow his own leads and work on his own ideas.  Commander Cruger told him he could and then asked if any of the rest of the Rangers wanted to go with Bridge.  Jack and his friends all looked away.  Commander Cruger asked Jack and Jack grimaced.  Bridge noticed his friends' reactions and volunteered himself for the task.  Bridge left the commander center, and Jack watched him go.  The alarm went off and Jack, Syd, Z, and Sky morphed and went after T-Top again.  They had another difficult battle with him.  T-Top exploded a building in order to divert the Rangers' attention and then took off.  Jack, Z, Sky, and Syd returned to headquarters.  Jack was furious and told the others that they would have got T-Top if Bridge had been with them, and not off on a wild goose chase.  Bridge walked in and did not appreciate Jack's comment.  Bridge was strongly convinced that T-Top was not their man.  The loudspeaker announced that T-Top was towering over the city.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers morphed and entered their zords.  They battled with T-Top and using crime scene tape, they had T-Top bond.  Jack used the judgment scanner and was stunned when it declared T-Top innocent.  The Rangers used handcuffs to revert T-Top to normal size.  The Rangers left their zords and questioned T-Top.  T-Top told them that he was a Tri-Ridonian Bounty Hunter after Hydrax - a thief from Fernovian.  Diane appeared on the scene and declared that T-Top was the robber she had seen at the bank and was angry when the Rangers told her that T-Top was innocent.  Bridge walked over to a car and tossed it towards Diane.  Diane reverted to her Fernovian form and sliced the car in half before it could land on her.  Jack, Z, Sky, and Syd were stunned.  The Fernovian told the Rangers that she had used Broodwing to make it look like T-Top was the bank robber and she had them all fooled except for Bridge.  Bridge and the Fernovian began to battle.  The rest of the Rangers wanted to help, but Jack stopped them, knowing that Bridge could handle it.  Bridge eventually arrested the Fernovian.  The Rangers demorph and Jack asked Bridge how he knew it was Diane.  Bridge started to tell them about the water at the bank, when it hadn't rain and several other clues.  While Bridge's back was turned, Jack and his friends returned to headquarters.  Later, Jack went looking for Bridge.  He found Bridge standing on his head and joined him by standing on his head on the opposite wall.  Jack told Bridge that T-Top had been sent home because of all the damage he had caused on Earth and was not allowed to return.  Bridge was happy and told him justice had been served.  Jack told Bridge that he wanted to apologized.  He didn't understand the way he did things or thought, but Bridge had earned his respect.  Bridge thanked him and asked him what he thought of this thinking position.  Jack told him that he thought his arms were really starting to hurt before he tumbled to the floor.

Jack was at the rec room at headquarters with his friends when Bridge just had a thought.  Jack asked him what it was.  Bridge told them that it was no conscience that they were all here.  Jack smiled and told Bridge I think you lost me.  Bridge told them it was no conscience that they all had powers and were all Power Rangers.  Syd thought maybe that was why Commander Cruger chose them.  Bridge wanted to know why they were five of them and Syd became confused.  Sky told them it was because Bridge was talking.  Z told Sky to back off, that she understood what Bridge was saying.  Z asked how did they get these powers.  Sky told them it was no secret, they were all, especially Z, freaks of nature.  Jack told Sky that was out of line and Z told Jack to chill.  The alarm went off and it was announced a giant robot was attacking the city.  The Rangers morphed and entered their zords.  The Rangers had a difficult time with Bugglesworth, who was inside the robot.  Bugglesworth made a building vanish before their eyes before vanishing himself.  The Rangers all questioned whether they saw the giant robot at all and Bridge thought that maybe they were all having a collective dram and they were still dreaming.  Z left the zord while the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters and reported to Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger was having a difficult time believing what the Rangers were telling him.  Commander Cruger questioned them about there being no trace of the building or workers - did the workers turn invisible.  Jack quietly told Syd and dogs talk, which Commander Cruger did not appreciate.  Commander Cruger asked where Z was and Jack told him he was not sure.  Sky replied that Z had left in the middle of a fight.  Jack was exasperated with Sky.  The building had been found and Jack contacted Z over her morpher and told her.  The Rangers went to the beach where the building now stood.  Jack thought the sight was amazing and the others agreed, except for Bridge who was hungry.  The Rangers entered the building, but found no one.  Z noticed a male doll and picked it up.  Jack spotted a female doll and picked it up.  Z asked Bridge if he could get a reading on the doll she held.  Bridge did and told them that there was a reason the dolls looked so life like.  The Rangers returned to headquarters and gave Kat the dolls to analyze.  Z was convinced that it had been a small boy she had spotted that controlled the robot, Sky did not think so and the argument continued.  Commander Cruger told them to stop and they all sat at a circular control table.  Commander Cruger asked them what they knew.  Jack told him that a robot attacked the city.  The rest of the Rangers continued, a building disappears and reappears at a different location, the workers are missing except for two dolls that Kat is analyzing.  Z commented that the small boy had a connection to what was happening.  Sky told her it was speculation.  Z told them that the boy had powers just like them.  Sky told them that they used their powers for good not evil.  Z told them that maybe he didn't know the difference.  The alarm went off and the Rangers morphed and went to battle Bugglesworth again in their zord.  The Rangers continued to have a difficult time.  They tried to placed handcuffs on the robot, but ended up with handcuffs on their zord instead.  Z demorph and left the zord.  The Rangers managed to get the handcuffs off and they went searching for Z.  Jack, Syd, Bridge, and Sky found Z in a park with the small boy.  Jack shouted out to Z and Z asked him to stand back.  The young boy, Sam, became angry and told Z that she was lying - that she had friends.  Sam used his ability to move several garbage cans over the Rangers' heads and then dumped them.  Sam took off running.  The Rangers returned to headquarters with a doll that Sam had been talking to and Z had fired at.  Bridge get a reading from the doll, Cindy Sunshine, Sam was at Gold's junkyard by the river.  Z immediately asked Commander Cruger if she could go looking for Sam and Jack wanted to go as well.  Z did not want Jack along, but Commander Cruger told her to take Jack.  Jack and Z left in the jeep and soon arrived at Gold's junkyard.  It was not long before they found Sam.  Sam asked who Jack was.  Z introduced him and told Sam that Jack was an old friend, kind of like a brother.  Jack waved at Sam.  Z told Sam that Jack had special powers just like them and asked Jack to demonstrate.  Jack put his head through sealed containers.  Sam was not impressed and was angry that they had each other.  Z told them that they found each other and now they found him.  Jack told Sam that he had a very special gift and that it should be used to help the world.  Z and Jack wanted to help Sam sort through everything he was going through, because they had been through it themselves.  Bugglesworth appeared with Cindy Sunshine and called Jack over.  Z asked him not to go, to trust them.  Cindy Sunshine replied that this was from the girl that had fired her.  Sam walked over to Bugglesworth and Cindy Sunshine - much to Z and Jack's dismay.  Bugglesworth released another monster, Orangehead.  Orangehead attacked Jack and Z.  Jack and Z had a difficult time with Orangehead and eventually had to morph.  In the midst of the battle Jack told Z to go to Sam.  Z left while Jack continued to battle, but he had a difficult time and Z soon spotted that Jack was in trouble.  Z raced to Jack's aid, but they both knew that they had to help Sam.

Jack and Z continued to have a difficult time with Orangehead.  The rest of the Rangers appeared and Sky remarked to Jack that he didn't think Orangehead looked so tough, but Jack knew better.  Bugglesworth started to leave with Sam.  Sam gave a backward glance at the Rangers and he teleported Jack, Z, and Orangehead to the beach.  Jack landed safely, but Z was about to toppled over the edge of a cliff.  Jack grabbed her quickly and soon they regain their balance.  Both of them were not happy to see Orangehead.  The battle continued, but Orangehead proved too difficult for them.  Jack called for his bike and the two of them returned to headquarters.  Jack, Z, Sky, and Syd walked into the commander center and spotted Bridge playing with two dolls.  Bridge told them it was hard to believe that the dolls had been human once.  Sky replied that if something wasn't done soon, they would have to build doll houses.  Syd commented that she loved the doll houses, and then realized that wasn't a smart thing to say.  Z still wanted to help Sam, but Sky felt that Sam was pretty chummy with Bugglesworth.  Jack asked Bridge about his thoughts and then regretted it as Bridge made no sense with his reply.  Z told them what was the point of having powers, if you couldn't help someone.  Sky asked her why she was taking this so personal.  Z told them of a time when she was twelve.  Jack had never heard this from Z before and he listened as Z told them that when she was twelve, her classmates called her names.  Unable to endure it any longer, Z ran and ran until she ran into a strange looking alien.  Z would have been in trouble if not for a cloaked stranger who saved her.  Jack asked Z if she ever found out who the cloaked stranger was and Z replied that she hadn't.  Commander Cruger walked in and told them that the cloaked stranger had been him.  Commander Cruger told them it was time to learn of their shared heritage.  Commander Cruger told them that their parents had worked at SPD.  Jack told him he was wrong, his parents were missionaries.  Commander Cruger replied that for their protection, the Rangers were not told of their parents involvement with SPD.  Their parents had worked, along with Kat, on the technology of their SPD morphers.  Through their long exposure to the cellular enhancers, their parents had been affected.  Sam's parents had also worked at SPD.  Z wanted to find Sam and Jack and the rest of the Rangers helped.  Jack searched for Sam, but had no luck finding him.  Later, Commander Cruger would contact Jack, Sky, Syd, and Bridge and tell them that Z and Sam were in trouble.  Jack, Syd, Bridge, and Sky arrived to find Z battling Orangehead, Bugglesworth, and several Krybots.  Z was tossed towards Jack and he asked her if she needed any help, but got no answer.  Z re-entered the battle, and this time Z was tossed back to Jack from the other side.  Again Jack asked if she needed help and got no answer.  Z re-entered the battle again and was tossed out again.  Z landed into Jack and Jack asked Z (unaware that he had been talking to Z's clones before) if she wanted some help and Z replied that she did.  The Rangers morphed and Orangehead released Bluehead.  Jack took on Bluehead himself and destroyed him.  Jack rejoined the Rangers as they battle Orangehead.  The Rangers destroyed Orangehead and arrested Bugglesworth.  With Bugglesworth's capture, the dolls reverted to humans.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers returned to SPD with Sam.  Sam was accepted as a cadet.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers got Sam a bike, which he was thrilled with.  Z commented that Sam had lots of friends and Sam replied that they were old and weird, but then told them that he was just joking.  Sam told them that he wanted to be a Ranger just like them.  Several cadets entered and asked Sam if he was coming.  Sam told the Rangers that his peeps were calling and left.  Syd asked if she was old and the Rangers replied that she wasn't old.  Jack told Syd that she was just weird.

Jack was in the command center, flipping through a magazine.  The rest of the Rangers were bored as well.  Jack couldn't believe that Commander Cruger was gone on an important galaxy meeting and had put Jack in charge and nothing had happened.  Bridge called out to Jack, but Jack told him just a minute.  He then went on to say no bank robbers, no giant robots stomping on buildings, nothing.  At this point, Syd and Sky had joined Bridge at the screen and they all hollered for Jack to come over.  Jack came over and Bridge pointed out that a UFO was heading for a crash course in the middle of town.  Jack told Bridge he had to let him know things before the last minute.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers morphed and entered their delta runners.  The Rangers formed the megazord and put out the fire that was caused by the UFO crashing.  Z noted that the space craft was SPD.  A lone figure emerged from the space ship and the Rangers left their megazord.  The lone figure removed his helmet and told them that he had been chasing a criminal and lost control.  Sky recognized the man as Dru Harrington - an old friend of his.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers took Dru to headquarters.  They entered the rec room and Dru told them how he was chasing a criminal.  Jack listened skeptically.  Dru and Sky had been in the academy together until Dru left for Nebula to complete his training.  Sky and Dru knocked their wrists together and their bracelets clinked.  Jack asked what was up with the bracelets.  Dru told him that there were tangerine coils and that it was a custom on his home planet to give them to close friends.  Jack remarked that they were bracelets and Z and Syd snickered.  Dru remarked that Jack must not have any close friends.  Sky decided that the conversation had deteriorated and it was time to go.  Jack wanted to leave anyways.  He was going to target practice until the ship crashed.  Dru and Sky decided to join him.  Jack was ready and shot all three targets - he was very pleased with himself.  Dru told him he had done well, but that he had taken three shots.  Jack replied because there were three targets.  Dru asked if he could borrow Jack's laser to try.  Jack told him sure, but that he needed to put in more shots because there was only one left.  Dru told him that was all that he needed.  Jack gave him his laser and then was stunned when Dru shot all three targets with one shot.  Dru and Sky left.  Later, Jack was sitting in the command center when he was startled by a shadow on the wall.  He was surprised to see Dru standing there.  Jack asked Dru what he was doing.  Dru replied that he couldn't' sleep and he thought he would see if Commander Cruger was around.  Jack pointed out that it was 4:00 in the morning.  Jack also told Dru that Commander Cruger would be returning later.  Dru started to leave when Jack stopped him.  Jack wanted to know what had happened to Dru during the year that he was missing.  Dru told him that he had amnesia.  Jack was skeptical - for a whole year.  Dru became angry and Sky walked in and asked what was going on.  Dru told Sky that Jack was integrating him.  Jack got angry as well and told Dru that he was not allowed in the command center.  Sky told Jack that Dru was SPD.  Jack reminded Sky that Dru was SPD and he needed to be reevaluated.  Jack ordered Sky to take Dru back to his quarters.  Sky gave a sarcastic salute before leaving with Dru.  The following morning, Jack walked up to where the Rangers were eating breakfast.  He told Sky that he had thought about it and he wanted to apologize.  Sky did not want to hear it or accept his apology.  Sky told Jack that he understood nothing about friendship or SPD.  An alarm went off and Kat announced that there was an alien creature in the engine room.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers morphed and headed for the engine room.  There they encountered the alien and had a difficult time with it.  The alien got away and the Rangers wondered where he went to.  Jack thought he knew and took off.  Jack demorphed and entered Dru's room, but he could not find him.  He walked out and ran into Sky and told him that Dru was not there.  Sky replied that it didn't mean anything.  Jack told Sky not be blind by his friendship - Dru had lied to them and not told them that he was a monster.  Kat announced that Commander Cruger was arriving.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers lined up and escorted Commander Cruger as he arrived at headquarters.  Commander Cruger was aware of the breach in security and asked how it happened.  Jack offered some examples of how it could happen.  Sky confessed that it had been his fault.  Commander Cruger told Sky that it was a serious violation and told him no harm had been done before being knocked off his feet.  Commander Cruger had been shot and now was on the floor.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers race to his side.  Commander Cruger was barely breathing and was taken to the infirmary.  Jack, Z, Syd, and Bridge stayed by Commander Cruger's side.  Sky had taken off to pursue Dru.  Kat told them that a human wouldn't have survive, but Commander Cruger was a tough, old dog.  Commander Cruger replied who was a tough, old dog.  Jack and his friends laughed - glad that Commander Cruger was okay.  They went to the command center to try and track down Dru.  Bridge believed that Dru was in sector C.  Sky walked in and asked if he could talk to Jack privately.  Sky wanted to go after Dru on his own.  Jack told him it was against regulations and he couldn't let him do that.  Jack relented and told Sky that by the time they got ready and Syd did her nails, they could give Sky a ten minute head start.  Sky quickly took the head start.  Jack, Z, Bridge, and Syd morphed and joined Sky in battle against Dru ten minutes later.  Dru was in his alien form and had grown.  The Rangers used their zords and soon Dru had reverted to his human form.  Sky arrested Dru.  The following day, Jack found Sky outside cleaning the cement entrance with a toothbrush.  Sky told Jack it was his punishment and Commander Cruger hoped it would help the self-righteous, pig-headed Ranger remember that the rules applied to everyone.  Jack thought that was harsh and Sky told him it hadn't been a pretty meeting.  Jack sat down and gave Sky his bracelet that had broken during Sky's battle with Dru.  Sky remarked that a bracelet didn't make a friendship.  Jack agreed, but told Sky that he did admire what Sky and Dru had once.  Jack picked up a toothbrush and started helping Sky.  Sky told him he didn't have to and Jack replied that he knew that, but he wanted to.  They worked quietly for a few moments and then Sky started laughing.  Jack asked him why he was laughing and Sky wouldn't tell him.  Sky continued to laugh and Jack asked him why.  Sky told Jack that he was using his toothbrush.  Jack tossed the toothbrush he was using and sat as Sky continued to laugh.

Jack was in the rec room at SPD headquarters.  He was playing against Sky - which involved the Blue Senturion (Jack) battling against a monster (Sky).  Z and Bridge sat behind, watching.  Sydney walked into the room very dressed up.  Bridge commented that he hadn't gotten the memo on the uniforms.  Jack joked that Syd probably dresses up to do her laundry.  Syd replied back "Like I do my own laundry".  Syd then preceded to tell them that it was her birthday.  Jack, Z, Bridge, and Sky were all surprised - Syd had not said anything.  Syd told them that her birthday was the following day, but her parents like to take her out to an expensive restaurant, with limos, and  alive band.  Sky commented that their invitations must have gotten lost.  Syd told them that they were being silly - she hadn't invited them because she knew that they had to work.  Kat announced over the loudspeaker for the Rangers to come to the command center.  Jack and his friends entered the command center where Commander Cruger and Kat were waiting.  A hologram of Sinuka was displayed.  Commander Cruger told them that Sinuka is a notorious criminal who had escaped from a satellite prison from KO-35.  Commander Cruger believed that Sinuka was headed for Newtech City.  Jack asked why.  Kat told them that Sinuka was a brilliant scientist and made weapons for villains.  Sinuka's former lab partner, Dr. Rheas,  lived here and they believed that Sinuka was coming to see her.  Commander Cruger wanted surveillance on Dr. Rheas and her laboratory.  Commander Cruger put Jack in charge of the surveillance and asked him to pick one partner.  Bridge wanted Jack to pick him, but Jack chose Syd.  Syd was upset - she was going to miss her birthday dinner.  Jack told her that she would also miss her birthday and that he thought she had said it was no big deal.  Syd told him that she lied.  Jack did not care and told her that it was important assignment and that her birthday was not a good enough excuse.  Jack and Syd entered a shabby apartment across from the building where Dr. Rheas worked.  Syd was upset and complaining.  Jack told her to get over herself and that there would be other birthdays.  Jack walked over to the window to check on Dr. Rheas.  Jack was surprised that Commander Cruger had not told them that Dr. Rheas was very pretty.  Syd walked over and thought Dr. Rheas was sorta of pretty.  Syd also questioned Jack on the fact that he didn't think a woman could be both intelligent and attractive.  Jack denied it and Syd walked away angry.  The following day, Jack and Syd still were watching Dr. Rheas.  Dr. Rheas left her laboratory and Syd excitedly asked Jack if they could leave.  Jack told her that they could not until Commander Cruger told them they could.  Syd was not happy.  Jack went to answer the door.  It was the pizza delivery guy.  Jack brought in the pizza and set it on the table.  Syd was excited - she had thought Jack had gotten the pizza for her birthday.  Jack told Syd that he hadn't know she wanted any or he would have ordered a large.  Syd told him that she didn't want a greasy pizza anyways.  Piggy popped his head through the window and told them that he had followed the delivery guy for three blocks and he wanted some.  Syd was angry that Piggy had appeared and told Jack that her birthday was officially ruined and stormed over to the couch.  Piggy could tell that Syd was angry and asked Jack what was wrong - did someone cut up her dad's credit card.  Jack smiled and told Piggy that Syd was upset because he made her work on her birthday.  Jack expected Piggy to be on his side, instead Piggy told Jack that was cold.  Jack was taken aback.  Piggy told him how would he like it if he had to work on his birthday.  Syd glared at Jack as he told them that he was sure he wouldn't mind.  Jack needed some air and told them that he was going for a walk.  Jack strolled through the park.  As he walked along he noticed a young girl's birthday party.  He watched as Jackie blew out her candles.  Jack smiled to himself.  Jack noticed that Dr. Rheas was walking in the park and started to keep an eye on her.  He noted that a man - whose face was covered - had suddenly changed directions and started walking behind Dr. Rheas.  Within moments, the man had taken Dr. Rheas' bag.  Jack began to chase after him, along with Dr. Rheas.  Jack told Dr. Rheas that he would take care of it and took off.  He used his ability to get to the thief quicker.  Jack soon had the thief cornered and they began to battle.  During the battle, Jack had removed the man's covering only to discover that it was a Krybot underneath it.  Jack quickly defeated the Krybot.  Jack walked back towards the park and towards the bench that Dr. Rheas was sitting on.  He gave her her bag back and Dr. Rheas was very happy.  Jack told her that he probably should walk her home - just to be on the safe side.  Dr. Rheas agreed.  They got to her laboratory and Dr. Rheas thanked Jack again.  Jack told her that he had to go - it was his friend's birthday.  Jack was surprised when Dr. Rheas excitedly told him what fun and hoped that his friend had a happy birthday.  Dr. Rheas told Jack that she still got excited over birthdays.  Jack asked her why and Dr. Rheas told him it was the one time of year everyone made you feel special.  Dr. Rheas gave Jack a hug and then Jack headed back to the apartment.  Syd was very angry with him - both Syd and Piggy had watched the hug through the window.  Syd told Jack that he had blown their cover - simply because he wanted to talk to a pretty girl.  Jack told her he wanted to explain.  Piggy told them that he wanted to hear this and both Jack and Syd yelled at him to butt out.  Jack told Syd about what had happened at the park.  Syd was not impressed.  Syd thought Jack had used the opportunity to show off as the Red Ranger.  Jack told her that Dr. Rheas didn't even know that he was a Ranger - the fact of the matter was they had talked about birthdays.  This took Syd by surprised and she asked him why.  Jack wanted to know why Syd was so mad at him for making her work on her birthday.  He didn't understand why it was a big deal to her or anyone else.  Syd asked him if anyone had ever made a fuss over his birthday.  Jack told her that he didn't have a birthday - at least he didn't know when it was.  Syd felt terrible, especially since she had gone on about her big extravagant party.  Syd told Jack she must have come across as a spoiled brat.  Jack told her no, and then said a little.  They both smiled and Jack told her that he was sorry for ruining her birthday.  Jack and Syd's morpher went off.  Jack and Syd morphed and joined the rest of the Rangers in their battle against Sinuka.  Sinuka was in a giant robot.  The Rangers soon had their delta runners and quickly formed the megazord.  The battle against Sinuka was tough - especially when Sinuka began to duplicate himself.  The Rangers were spent battling the copies while Sinuka got away.  Jack returned to the apartment alone.  He walked in to find an empty pizza box and a stuffed Piggy.  Piggy claimed the place had mice and they ate all the pizza.  Jack didn't believe Piggy and went to the window.  He noticed immediately that Dr. Rheas was gone.  Jack asked Piggy if he had seen what had happened to Dr. Rheas.  Piggy thought him about a strange looking creature taking Dr. Rheas.  Jack asked what direction they headed towards and Piggy asked him what was in it for him.  Jack made a deal with Piggy and then took off.  Jack quickly found Dr. Rheas and Sinuka.  Sinuka had forced Dr. Rheas to show him where the activator was.  Jack quickly morphed and began to battle Sinuka.  Sinuka was tough and at one point, almost had Jack, except Dr. Rheas stepped in to stop Sinuka.  Jack and Sinuka battle again and Dr. Rheas escaped.  Jack made sure she was okay and then continued the battle.  The rest of the Rangers arrived and they quickly formed their megazord once more.  It was another difficult battle, but this time the Rangers destroyed the giant robot.  Sinuka had ejected from the robot and the Rangers did the same.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers used the Canine Cannon mode to arrest and contain Sinuka.  The following day, Jack got Z, Bridge, Sky, Commander Cruger, Kat, Dr. Rheas, Boom and several other friends together for a surprise party for Syd in the park.  Syd was very surprised and happy about the party.  Jack wished her a happy birthday and gave her a cupcake - all he could afford on his salary.  Syd understood and had a gift for Jack.  Syd split the cupcake in half and asked Jack if he would share his birthday with her.  Jack was touch and asked Syd that when she had a birthday, it would be his birthday as well.  Syd agreed and told him if he played his cards right, he could milk it for a week.  Piggy took the two halves and Syd angrily asked who had invited Piggy.  Jack told her he had to - it was the only way he could find Dr. Rheas.  Jack and Syd smiled and gave each other a hug.

Jack and Sydney were morphed and battling an Orangehead.  Despite the difficult time they were having battling the Orangehead, Jack felt they could take him.  Syd asked Jack several times whether they should call for backup and Jack said no.  After several more times of being tossed to the ground, Jack relented and told her yes, call for backup.  Syd did only to find out that Sky was about to call them.  Sky informed them that a monster was attacking the city and they needed Syd for backup.  Jack told Syd to go, but Syd was reluctant.  Jack told her he would be okay and Syd reluctantly left and joined the other Rangers.  Jack eventually destroyed the Orangehead and returned to headquarters.  In the control room, Jack listened as the rest of the Rangers laughed and talk about the monster they had captured crying.  Kat was in the control room as well.  Commander Cruger walked in and angrily asked them if they were laughing at him.  The Rangers replied that they weren't and tried to explain.  Commander Cruger did not want to hear it.  Still angry, Commander Cruger reminded them that they were in the SPD control room and to stop their childish behavior.  Jack stood up, angry as well.  Jack told Commander Cruger that he didn't care who he was - he didn't have the right to talk to them like that.  Commander Cruger told Jack he could see that he was standing up for his squad.  Commander Cruger continued that it was about time he took his leadership responsibilities seriously.  Jack was taken aback.  Commander Cruger told Jack to lead his team out of the control room.  Jack gave a quick yes sir, and he left with the rest of the Rangers.  They entered another room - all of them upset over the way Commander Cruger behaved.  Kat walked in and told them that several years ago, Commander Cruger's home planet, Sirius, was invaded by Emperor Gruumm and he lost everything.  Kat told them it didn't excuse his behavior, she just wanted them to know.  The following day, Jack and the rest of the Rangers were back in the control room.  They worked quietly and were subdue.  Commander Cruger and Kat were there as well.  Bridge sneezed and apologized to everyone - concerned that he might invoke Commander Cruger's temper again.  Kat called Commander Cruger over to view a screen.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers got up quietly and stood behind them.  Kat show Commander Cruger the energy scans she had taken of the city in the last twelve hours.  Kat was getting a strange reading.  Commander Cruger assumed that the program was malfunctioning.  Kat told him it was doubtful as she had designed the program herself.  Kat told Commander Cruger whatever it was, it was big and dangerous.  Commander Cruger turned around and all the Rangers flinched.  Commander Cruger told the Rangers to investigate the co-ordinates.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers went to the co-ordinates where they found Piggy's new restaurant - Piggy's.  All of Piggy's patrons had vanished as soon as they realized that SPD was headed there way.  Piggy was not happy to see them.  Jack told Piggy that they had heard of his good fortune.  They questioned Piggy about anything unusual happening and Piggy was his usual vague self.  Z told Piggy to just tell them about they needed to know and they would leave his dump.  A cloaked figure appeared and revealed himself to be General Benaag.  General Benaag asked the Rangers if they were looking for him.  Jack told the others that it looked like Piggy's had a rat infestation.  Both Z and Syd replied in unison that they hated rats.  General Benaag told them he had a message for Commander Cruger and tossed a small, silver, circulator container to Jack.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters and the control room.  The containers revealed a hologram of General Benaag with a challenge to Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger refused to battle General Benaag and General Benaag told him that he would force Commander Cruger to do so.  After the message, Sky wanted to know why Commander Cruger would not fight General Benaag.  Jack thought it was all a deception.  Z and Syd wanted to know who General Benagg is and how Commander Cruger knows him.  Kat told Commander Cruger it was time to tell the Rangers.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers listened in stunned silence as Commander Cruger told them that several years ago, Emperor Gruumm invaded his home planet, Sirius.  Sirius had formed an elite group of defenders - the first SPD.  SPD battled for months without sleep.  Emperor Gruumm, General Benaag and hundreds of Krybots invaded the planet.  General Benaag released giant robots on defenseless cities.  Eventually they were overrun and defeated.  Commander Cruger had been knocked out.  When Commander Cruger came to he found his planet destroyed, his squad gone and that he was the last of his kind.   Commander Cruger had failed his planet and his squad.  Commander Cruger vowed to never pick up his sword again.  Later, headquarters began to shake.  Commander Cruger asked if it was an earthquake.  Kat told him it was energy tremors.  Commander Cruger told Jack and the rest of the Rangers to suit up.  They did so and entered their delta runners.  They headed into the city and discovered a giant robot, manned by a Bluehead, placing several spikes throughout the city.  The Rangers tried to take the robot down, but he disappeared before they had a chance.  The Rangers were about to remove the spikes when Commander Cruger called them back to headquarters.  The Rangers were angry.  Sky told Commander Cruger that they could have removed the spikes.  Commander Cruger told them that they did not know what would happen when they removed the spikes.  Jack felt that they should at least be patrolling the city.  Commander Cruger told them that they did not know this enemy and that they were do nothing but wait.  The Rangers were not happy about that.  Commander Cruger called for Kat, but Kat did not appear.  Instead Boom came in with disturbing news.  Boom told the group that Kat was missing and not answering her communicator.  RIC was suddenly very alert and raced out of the room.

Commander Cruger yelled at Boom that he wanted Boom to analyze on the computers the robot and the spikes.  Boom nervously told Commander Cruger that was Kat's job.  Commander Cruger became more angry and told Boom that Kat was not here, could he handle it.  Boom nervously told him that he would try and left the control room in a hurry.  Jack, hesitant to get Commander Cruger more angry, told Commander Cruger that he was probably out of line, but he felt that Commander Cruger was losing it.  Commander Cruger told Jack that he was out of line.  Sky stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that he agreed with Jack.  Syd, Z, and Bridge also backed him up.  Commander Cruger told them that Kat had told him that there were no secrets on a team.  Commander Cruger told them that he hadn't told them anything.  Commander Cruger told them that during the attack on his planet, Commander Cruger fought on the front lines.  General Benaag had snuck in through the back and attacked his wife.  Commander Cruger never saw his wife again.  Jack spoke up and told him, sir, you can't blame yourself.  Z told Commander Cruger that he was overrun.  Bridge told him that he had to defend his squad.  Commander Cruger knew all that, but he told them it didn't stop the nightmares.  Commander Cruger sent the Rangers to investigate Kat's disappearance.  Jack and his friends headed straight for Piggy's.  Piggy was not thrilled to see them as they had scare away forty customers.  Jack told him he was sorry to hear that.  Jack wanted Piggy to answer a few questions and they would be on their way.  Piggy told them he was no longer in that line of business.  Z told Piggy that she kinda like the place - nice and quiet - she might start hanging out more often.  Bridge piped up that as an advisor to C and D level cadets, editor of the academy newspaper, and general blabbermouth, he could have the place bounding with SPD.  Piggy broke down and told them that Emperor Gruumm was on Earth.  Jack and the rest of his Rangers returned to headquarters.  They gave Commander Cruger the information.  Boom was in the control room and nervously presented his information.  Boom told them, that as they knew, a robot had been placing spikes throughout the city and activating them.  The spikes were proton spikes and harmless unless pulled from the ground without deactivating them first.  Boom told them that if a seventh spike was placed in the center - a mega neutron spike - it would cause sizmatic activity on the quasar three level.  RIC stumbled in and played another message from General Benaag.  General Benaag revealed that he had Kat.  General Benaag challenged Commander Cruger to face him alone.  General Benaag had placed a wide, silver, belt around Kat with a timer counting downwards.  Once the timer went off, Kat's molecules will scatter and she would disappeared.  Emperor Gruumm appeared in the message as well.  Jack wanted him and Z to go rescue Kat while the rest of his team stop the robot.  Commander Cruger told Jack it was a good plan, but not one that they would employ.  Commander Cruger wanted all of them to stop the robot.  Z and Bridge protested - no one wanted to leave Kat in danger.  Jack suggested that four of them stop the robot while he rescue Kat.  Commander Cruger became furious and told them to not challenge his order.  Jack and his friends quickly left the control room.  Jack and his friends suited up, entered their delta runners, and formed the megazord quickly.  The Rangers found the robot rather quickly.  It was a difficult battle, but eventually, the Rangers were able to stop the robot from placing the seventh spike and destroyed it.  The Rangers went to sector four, area six - a quarry.  The Rangers were puzzled to see another Ranger battling General Benaag.  Syd noticed the familiar sword and they all realized that it the Shadow Ranger was Commander Cruger.  They cheered him on as Shadow Ranger found General Benaag guilty of destroying five planets, but not guilty in the disappearance of his wife.  Shadow Ranger had General Benaag in a containment card and Jack and the rest of the Rangers gathered around him.  Shadow Ranger disappear, but Jack and the rest of the Rangers soon spotted him carrying Kat.  Jack and the rest of the Rangers gathered around Shadow Ranger and Kat - still cheering.  Later, Jack, Syd, Z, Bridge, Sky, Boom, Kat, Commander Cruger, and RIC went to Piggy's to celebrate.  Commander Cruger gave a toast to his comrades in arms, and comrades in friendship.  Commander Cruger also lead a special toast to Kat, calling her his dear friend and thanking her for calling him out.  Jack and his friends took a sip of water and promptly spit it out.  Piggy's fresh gutter water did not agreed with them.

Jack and his friends were in the simulation room.  Commander Cruger wanted all five cadets to take him on.  Jack told Commander Cruger will all due respect, are you sure you want to do this.  Commander Cruger did and ordered the cadets to suit up.  Jack and his friends did, as well as Commander Cruger.  The simulation room turned into a rooftop building and the training session began.  Red Ranger thought it would be an easy task to defeat Shadow Ranger.  But he was wrong.  Red Ranger tried a move against Shadow Ranger and was defeated.  Red Ranger couldn't believe it and stated no way.  Shadow Ranger told him that he saw that coming a mile away and that he would have to be quicker.  The team was defeated by Shadow Ranger.  Later, Jack walked into the rec room and told two cadets that it was pass their bed time.  He joined his friends sitting around.  Sky noted Jack's easy going manner and asked him what was up.  Jack told them that with Shadow Ranger on their side, a huge weight around his shoulders had been lifted.  He sat next to Syd and told them that now he could go with the flow.  Much later, Jack was awaken by the alarm.  Kat informed the cadets that the perp was downtown.  Jack and his friends gathered in the common room, suited up, and headed for downtown.  They soon encountered Drakel and the battle began.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers had a difficult time against Drakel.  Red Ranger used his communicator and asked Shadow Ranger to come in.  Commander Cruger turned off their communication.  Red Ranger returned to the battled and wondered why Shadow Ranger wouldn't help them.  Night turned to morning and Drakel could not bare the sunlight and fled.  Red Ranger noticed that Drakel had dropped something.  The Rangers returned to headquarters with the device.  They were in the control room and asking Commander Cruger why he didn't help them.  Commander Cruger told them that he was busy and told them that they did fine.  Kat walked into the control room and Sky passed the devise to her, asking her if she knew what it was.  Before Kat could replied, Commander Cruger told them that they could not use Kat's assistance.  Commander Cruger then dismissed the confused cadets.  Jack and his friends headed to Piggy's for answers.  Bridge showed Piggy the devise and Piggy became visually frightened.   Piggy told them that the devise was a class five containment field used for the evil.  Piggy told them that he was closed and tried to walk away.  Jack stopped him and asked what is evil.  Piggy told them that according to legend, the evil comes from the abyss itself, in the shape of a stone.  The evil hibernates every hundred years and is capable of leveling mountains and boiling oceans.  When the evil awakens it has great power and the most treacherous creatures will try to obtain it.  The cadets wanted to know where they could find the evil.  Piggy told them to look no further than their backyard.  The evil was guarded by a great warrior in Ye Olde Bookstore.  Jack and his friends headed for the bookstore.  Inside the bookstore, Jack commented that the place hardly seems like where a great warrior would be.  A old, strange looking man poked his head out of the bookshelves and then came forward.  Baskin introduced himself and asked them if he could help them.  They told him they were looking for an evil stone.  Baskin replied that he had Rolling Stone, Romancing the Stone, and Sword and the Stone, but no Evil Stone.  Jack told the group that this couldn't be the place.  Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that a giant robot was attacking the westside.  Jack and his friends left, suited up, entered their runners, and formed the megazord.  They found the giant robot and the battle began.  The Rangers were surprised that the giant robot was piloted by a Bluehead and Jack came to the conclusion that they had been tricked.  During the battle, Commander Cruger contacted them and told them that Drakel had the evil.  The Rangers destroyed the robot and ejected from their zord.  They soon found a more powerful Drakel and another battle broke out.  The Rangers were confident that Shadow Ranger would come to help them out.  When Commander Cruger appeared on a rooftop, they were positive they were right, but Commander Cruger did not help them.  They continued to battle Drakel and Red Ranger told the group that this was brutal and didn't know why Commander Cruger wouldn't help them.  Red Ranger broke away and asked Commander Cruger to help them.  Commander Cruger told him no and to finish the job.  Red Ranger returned to the rest of the Rangers.  The Rangers renewed their efforts against Drakel.  Soon, Red Ranger had the scanner on Drakel and found him guilty for the crime of stealing property that didn't belong to him with the intent of using it to destroy Earth.  Red Ranger had Drakel in a containment card.  With Drakel in the containment card, he revert to his normal strength and the evil was released.  Green Ranger used a gripping stick to place the evil in a small, silver, metal case.  Jack and his friends returned to the bookstore and gave the case to Baskin - warrior of the stone.  Baskin told them that in the two thousand years he had been guarding the stone it was the first time it had ever been taken.  Baskin thought it was time for him and J.B. to move to New Zealand where no one would find them.  Baskin told the cadets to keep up the fight before vanishing.  Jack told his friends that they needed to talk to Commander Cruger.  They returned to headquarters and the control room.  They were all furious with Commander Cruger not helping them.  Bridge asked Commander Cruger where has the Shadow Ranger been?  Commander Cruger told them that Shadow Ranger had been listening to their conversation.  Jack and his friends were slightly abashed as Commander Cruger told them that ever since the arrival of Shadow Ranger, they had dropped their guard and relied solely on him.  Commander Cruger continued by telling them that in order to defeat Gruumm, that they needed to battle with one hundred percent commitment.  Jack realized that they had taken advantage of Shadow Ranger and apologized.  Commander Cruger, happy, told them that he was glad as he was tired of seeing them get their morphers kicked all over town.  Jack and his friends were surprised at first, and then joined in the laughter, along with Commander Cruger.

Jack and the rest of the B Squad cadets were training the D Squad cadets.  They were preparing them for battle against the Krybots.  D Squad was very confident that they would have no problems against Krybots.  Several Krybots appeared and suddenly D Squad lost their confidence as the Krybots beat them.  Jack and the rest of his squad watched.  Syd asked Jack if he thought they should help them out.  Jack cast an amused glance at the D Squad cadets getting beat, and replied maybe in a minute or two.  Syd smiled back and then they continued to watch.  Only one member of D Squad showed any potential - Sophie.  Jack noticed and commented that at least somebody's got game.  Bridge had joined Jack and replied yeah, she kicking bot.  The training session ended and the simulation room returned to normal.  Sophie was the only member of D Squad still standing.  Sky dismiss the cadets and told them they would regroup after lunch.  Bridge walked up to Sophie and told her that if she kept it up, she would make C Squad in no time.  Sophie was very excited.  Jack cautioned her that Krybots were only nuts and bolts.  The creatures that they encountered were a lot tougher.  Later, headquarters began to shake.  After the shaking ended, Commander Cruger sent Jack, his squad, and Kat to sector 17.  They arrived at sector 17 and Jack noted that the hole in the ground was massive.  Kat concluded that something had dug it's way out.  Bridge suggested giant gophers, but no one took his suggestion seriously.  Jack, his squad, and Kat returned to headquarters.  Later, Jack and the rest of his squad were training D Squad.  The session had barely started when Valko and several Krybots appeared and fired at them.  Jack asked if the Squad D cadets were okay.  He then hurried them towards the back and told them that this was no test, it was the real deal.  Valko demanded their Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor.  The cadets did not know what Valko was talking about.  Jack and the rest of squad suited up.  The Rangers battled Valko and the Krybots.  The D Squad cadets were soon in danger.  Red Ranger told Green Ranger that it was getting a little too hairy here and instructed him to take the cadets inside.  The battle continued and soon a giant robot appeared.  Red Ranger notified Kat that they needed the delta runners, but Kat was unable to send them because the bay doors were blocked.  Red Ranger watched as the giant robot fired at their base.  Suddenly the base began to separate and form the Delta Command Crawler, it also began to fire back.  Kat then was able to send the Rangers their delta runners, and Green Ranger joined them.  They quickly formed the megazord and began to battle the robot.  Eventually the robot was knocked to the ground.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers watched in shock as huge, metical tentacles reach up from underground, wrapped itself around the robot, and pulled it underground.  The Rangers returned to headquarters.  Jack and his friends came to the conclusion that the creature they saw was Goradon.  Bridge wanted to check in on Sophie - who had been hurt in the earlier battle.  Jack and his friends walked in and were surprised to see Sophie repairing her own arm.  Jack asked her why she didn't tell them that she was a cyborg.  Sophie replied that she was afraid if they knew she would be kicked out of the academy.  Sky brought up the fact that the computer had been hacked into, with no trace of fingerprints.  Sophie confessed that she had been the one, but only because she wanted to help.  Sophie asked Bridge to tell them that she would never do anything to hurt SPD.  Bridge replied that she didn't know what to think.  Sky expelled Sophie from the academy.  Jack watched as Sophie slowly got up and walked out of the room.

The following day, B Squad were busy training D Squad.  Z and Syd were working with the D Squad cadets as Jack and Sky made notes.  Bridge was sitting and wondering whether they had done the right thing in expelling Sophie.  Bridge pointed out that Sophie had appeared pretty devoted.  Jack told Bridge devoted sure, but devoted to what.  Commander Cruger walked up and all the cadets stood at attention.  Commander Cruger immediately noticed that there was a missing cadet and asked B Squad why.  Jack told Commander Cruger that they had found out the mole who had hacked into the computers was Sophie.  Sky proudly told Commander Cruger that Sophie was a threat and a cyborg and immediately they had banished her.  Commander Cruger was furious and told them just because Sophie was a cyborg, did not make her a threat.  Commander Cruger ordered them to find Sophie.  Jack and the rest of his squad headed to Piggy's.  Jack gave a small wave as Piggy's patrons ran off.  Piggy was not happy to see them.  Z held up a picture of Sophie and told Piggy that they needed his help.  Piggy told them that they always need his help, but that they were always chasing away his customers.  Sky did not understand - the patrons were the monsters.  Piggy pointed out to his patrons that they were the monsters.  Piggy told them that he had not seen Sophie.  Jack and his friends continued their search, separating and then regrouping.  Jack and his friends had no luck in finding Sophie.  Sky questioned as to all the cyborgs, why was Sophie captive.  Bridge realized something and asked them what had Valko wanted.  Jack, Syd, Z, and Sky could not remember.  Bridge stood on his head for a moment and then went back to his feet.  Bridge spelled out Sophie's name and then continued with Series One Processor.  Jack immediately understood what Bridge was saying and continued with Hyper.  Z and Syd finished with Intelligent and Encryptor.  They made new plans to search the city.  Piggy appeared and told them that he was glad he was not captive.  Z questioned how Piggy knew that Sophie was captive.  Jack knew that the better question was how much was this going to cost them.  Piggy told them that he would give them information if they stayed away from his wagon for one year.  Jack negotiated with Piggy and got it down to one day.  Piggy told them that Valko had taken Sophie to Weary Woods.  Jack and the rest of his squad took off for Weary Woods.  They walked along, unaware that Valko had spotted them on his computer.  Valko and several Krybots attacked Jack and his friends.  Jack and his friends used their unique abilities to battle, before suiting up.  They managed to arrest Valko, but Valko escaped before he could be placed in a containment devise.  Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that Goradon was attacking the city and she was sending the runners.  The Rangers quickly entered their runners and formed the Delta Squad Megazord.  They battle Goradon, but it was difficult.  At one point, Goradon was about to devour them.  Kat, in the Delta Command Crawler, fired at Goradon.  Goradon released the megazord.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were surprised when Shadow Ranger ordered them back to headquarters.  Jack and his friends entered the command center.  Shadow Ranger, Sophie, and Kat were already there.  Shadow Ranger told them that phase two of the defense system was not working.  Sophie volunteered to use her programs to get phase two online.  Kat was hesitant as she knew that Sophie could help or harm them.  Bridge realized this as well and pointed it out to his friends.  Bridge told them that he trusted Sophie and wanted to give her the chance to help them.  Syd agreed telling the group to let her do it.  Z agreed as well adding definitely.  Jack told them that he was all for it.  Shadow Ranger asked Sky - as it had to be a unanimous decision.  Sky commented that he was a monster as well, so no more judgments and that Sophie was alright in his book.  Shadow Ranger ordered the Rangers back to their Delta Squad Megazord while Sophie and Kat worked on phase two of the defense system.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers watched in their zord as the Delta Command Megazord came online.  They used the entry chutes to entered the impressive Delta Command Megazord.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers quickly assumed their positions and began the battle with Goradon.  They destroyed Goradon.  The following day, Jack was in the eating area, flipping through a magazine.  Syd sat at the same table with him.  Z and Sky were there as well.  Sky was having troubles with the food machine.  Sophie walked in and helped him.  Bridge walked in and announced that their favorite IT girl was being transferred to the Fada quadrant to help overhaul their systems.  Sophie was thrilled to be using her programming to help people.  Jack and his friends were happy for her.

Jack, Sky, Kat, and Commander Cruger were in the command center.  Kat told Commander Cruger that the computer had picked up an anomaly in the local energy grid.  Kat had never seen anything like it before.  Jack and Sky joined Kat and Commander Cruger at the computer.  Jack commented that it's off the charts, it's massive.  Commander Cruger sent Jack and Sky to the source of the energy.  Jack and left to investigate.  They entered an abandoned building.  Sky told Jack that this was where Kat had said the energy source came from.  Jack couldn't believe it and told Sky what energy, there weren't even any lights on in the building.  Sky told Jack that Kat was never wrong and to look for something big.  Jack walked into an empty room and spotted a laptop in the middle of the room and told Sky or something small.  Jack and Sky moved closer to the laptop when Tamars appeared.  Before they could react, Tamars transported them to a small, white room.  Jack and Sky searched the enclosed room for a way out, but they couldn't find a way out.  Tamars appeared and told them that Emperor Gruumm would be please that he had captured SPD cadets.  Jack told Tamars that they were not ordinary cadets and both he and Jack suited up.  They were prepared to battle Tamars, but he teleported them elsewhere.  Red Ranger found himself tangling from a building rooftop.  Blue Ranger fought off Tamars and then gave him a hand up.  Red Ranger and Blue Ranger battled Tamars and just when they were about to get the upper hand, Tamars teleported them once again.  This time Red Ranger and Blue Ranger found themselves on top of a moving truck.  Red Ranger that this was getting ridiculous.  Tamars appeared as well and another battle broke out.  Red Ranger and Blue Ranger figured out that the device Tamars had was the key, but they could not get to it.  Once again, the Rangers were teleported.  This time they were back to the original white room they had started in.  Red Ranger didn't think Tamars was much of a tour guide.  They were prepared to battle again, when Boom fell on top of Tamars.  Red Ranger and Blue Ranger helped Boom to his feet and ask him what he was doing here.  Boom told them that he had come to rescue them and then panic when he realized that he no longer had the gadget to teleported them out.  Another battle broke out and eventually Boom got hold of the devise and teleported the Rangers out.  They landed in the lab where Z gave Jack a big hug.  Tamars started to emerge out of the computer and Boom quickly unplugged the computer.  Commander Cruger had a feeling that they would be seeing Tamars again.  Commander Cruger told Boom that he could not accept his letter of resignation because Boom had forgotten to sign it.  Jack and his friends cheered for Boom and Jack told him that he had done a good job.

Jack walked into the command center.  It was quiet with only Sky working and RIC by his side.  With a grin, Jack yelled Yo Sky, what's up?!  Sky jumped and told Jack perfect, now I got to start over.  Jack asked Sky what are you doing here anyways - Sky was off duty.  Sky replied that this was how he relaxed.  Jack picked up the small, red ball at RIC had placed at Sky's feet and tossed it.  He commented that all work and no play, makes Sky a dull boy.  RIC returned with the ball, but instead of giving it back to Jack, RIC dropped the ball at Sky's feet.  Jack was puzzled and asked how come he threw the ball, but RIC brought the ball back to Sky.  Sky replied that RIC was determined to get him to play with him.  Exasperated, Sky told Jack to go and take RIC with him.  Jack was about to leave when the alarms went off.  Syd, Z, and Bridge joined them in the command center.  They suited up, entered their delta runners, and quickly formed the megazord.  The Rangers were battling Wootox in a giant robot.  Wootox managed to get away.  Shadow Ranger stopped Wootox from escaping with the Delta Command Megazord.  Shadow Ranger destroyed the robot and Wootox ejected.  The Rangers continued the battle on ground, with Wootox eventually being captured.  They all returned to headquarters.  Jack and Sky escorted Wootox into the elevator.  They were taking Wootox to the holding cell.  Jack wondered why Commander Cruger wanted to question Wootox, he didn't see anything special about the creature.  Sky told Jack that they would find out.  Sky also told Jack to take care of the paperwork and that he would escort Wootox the rest of the way.  Jack was reluctant, but Sky was adamant.  The elevator opened, and Sky and Wootox stepped out.  Later, Jack, "Sky", Bridge, Syd, and Z were in a meeting with Commander Cruger in the command center.  Commander Cruger gave them permission to judge and confine Wootox.  "Sky" wanted to act right away, while Bridge didn't see what the hurry was.  Commander Cruger agreed with "Sky".  The alarms went off with the announcement that "Wootox" had escaped his cell.  Squad B cadets raced searching for "Wootox".  "Sky" suggested he go in one direction, while the rest of the cadets search in a different area.  Jack agreed and told "Sky" to be careful.  After some time, Jack, Syd, Z, and Bridge had no luck in finding "Wootox".  They tried to contact "Sky", but got no reply.  Concern, they began searching for "Sky".  They soon found "Sky" and "Wootox".  "Wootox" had "Sky" pinned to a wall.  Bridge told "Wootox" to put our friend down and step back.  "Wootox" released "Sky".  "Sky" told the cadets that they needed to take "Wootox" down.  "Wootox" ran towards them and they all fought "Wootox".  "Wootox" retreated.  The cadets got to their feet, ready to search for "Wootox" again.  "Sky" suggested that they go one way, while he went in a different direction.  Jack was puzzled as to why "Sky" always wanted to search separately from the group.  Jack, Syd, Z, and Bridge went in the direction they had seen "Wootox" go.  They were outside and lost his trail.  They separated for a time and then regrouped.  They had no luck in locating "Wootox".  Bridge thought "Wootox" must be inside, because he was not outside.  Much to their amazement, "Wootox" suddenly appeared, running towards them.  Jack and his friends suited up and began firing at "Wootox".  "Wootox" leaped over their heads and entered the base.  The doors sealed shut before the Rangers could entered.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were worried when they saw the base transform into the Delta Command Megazord.  They watched in dismay as the megazord prepared to destroy the city - they knew that "Wootox" had to be at the controls.  Suddenly the megazord began to power down, much to the Rangers' relief.  "Wootox" and "Blue Ranger" continued their battle on ground.  During the battle, "Blue Ranger" had demorph.  The rest of the Rangers arrived and quickly went to the aid of their friend "Sky".  They were about to fire when Shadow Ranger and RIC appeared.  Shadow Ranger told them not to fire and that Sky and Wootox had changed bodies.  "Sky" told them that they had, but now they had changed back.  The Rangers did not know what to do.  Red Ranger had an idea.  He tossed out the small red ball and RIC went after it.  RIC returned and, at first, headed towards "Sky".  RIC then abruptly turned around and dropped the red ball at "Wootox's" feet.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers grabbled a hold of "Sky" and held him as Sky and Wootox changed back into their own bodies.  Sky suited up and they arrested and contained Wootox.

Red Ranger and Shadow Ranger were training.  As they battle, Red Ranger asked Shadow Ranger is that all you got?  Shadow Ranger replied honestly, no.  But this isn't a battle, it's a lesson in swordsmanship.  So, I'll take it easy on you.  Red Ranger replied don't hold back on my account, boss, you might be surprised.  They continued to train and Shadow Ranger told Red Ranger let's do this.  Shadow Ranger chuckled when Red Ranger fell to the ground.   Shadow Ranger offered a hand to Red Ranger and remarked, cadet, I think that will be all for today.  But Red Ranger wasn't ready to quit.  As Shadow Ranger walked ahead, Red Ranger raced behind him with his sword raise.  Shadow Ranger was ready for him and countered the blow and broke Red Ranger's sword.  Shadow Ranger angrily told Red Ranger that he had told him that was enough.  Shadow Ranger and Red Ranger demorph.  They walked alongside each other.  Jack was convinced that if he had the shadow saber, he would win.  Commander Cruger told Jack that his arrogance was astounding and that it was the swordsman, not the sword, that wins the battle.  Commander Cruger walk on, leaving Jack puzzled.  Later, Jack was in the rec room, deep in thought.  Sky drew Jack's attention to the group and asked him what he was thinking.  Jack told them he had been thinking that's it not fair, Commander Cruger won't give him the shadow saber because he know Jack would win if he had it.  What he had said, had just confirmed what Bridge had said he was thinking.  The alarms went off and Kat announced that the Rangers were wanted in the command center.  Jack and his friends hurried to the command center.  Commander Cruger and Kat were in the command center when Jack and his friends entered.  They all watched a screen as Commander Cruger told them there had been an energy surge in Japan and they believed a time portal was opening.  They all watch as an alien came out of the time portal.  Commander Cruger recognized Katana as a most powerful warrior and told the Rangers they would have to go to Japan and find out what Emperor Gruumm was up to.  Jack stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that now was the time for him to use the shadow saber.  Commander Cruger told Jack that the shadow saber was not his weapon and that he didn't need it.  Jack was not convinced.  Jack and his friends were transported to Kyoto, Japan.  Syd commented that the warrior could be anywhere.  Sky suggested that they use their weapon.  Bridge was thrilled.  Bridge concentrated and soon picked up on the confused energy thoughts of Katana.  Jack was impressed and told the group, let's find a Samurai.  Jack and his friends encountered Katana scaring off a group of people in their armored dragons trying to enter Kyoto.  Katana turned around and noted the cadets aggressive stance.  Katana assumed that they were warriors intent on taking Kyoto.  Sky told Katana to surrender and turn in his weapon.  Katana refused and soon a battle between the cadets and Katana broke out.  During the battle, Jack battle one on one with Katana.  Katana managed to get Jack's laser away from him and Jack landed on the group.  Jack held up his hands in surrender.  Katana picked up the strange weapon and told Jack that he did not fight an unarm opponent.  Katana gave Jack's his laser back.  Jack was surprised when he took the weapon back.  Once Jack had the weapon, Katana was ready to battle again.  Broodwing was close by and didn't like the odds.  Broodwing released several Krybots and soon Jack and his friends were battling the Krybots, while Katana slipped away.  After the defeat of the Krybots, Jack and his friends continued to search for Katana.  Bridge could still pick up his temporal energy readings, but he warned the group that the later Katana stayed in the present, the harder it would be to read his energy.  The ground shook and Jack and his friends saw a giant robot taking the temples from Kyoto.  Sky contacted Commander Cruger to let him know of this new development.  Jack and his friends found Katana again.  They quickly suited up and another battle broke out between them and Katana.  Katana managed to slip away once again.  Commander Cruger and all of SPD had arrived in Kyoto in the Delta Command Crawler.  Commander Cruger sent the Rangers their delta runners.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers entered their delta runners quickly and began battling the giant robot.  Soon, Commander Cruger called them back, stating that they needed more power.  The Rangers returned to the base and it quickly formed the Delta Command Megazord.  The Rangers battled the giant robot.  Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that the robot was piloted by a Bluehead.  Red Ranger knew something was up.  Shadow Ranger stopped Red Ranger and told him that they had walked into Gruumm's trap.  Shadow Ranger wanted Red Ranger to find Katana to discover Gruumm's plans.  Red Ranger pleaded with Shadow Ranger to be able to use the shadow saber.  Shadow Ranger reluctantly gave Red Ranger the shadow saber.  Red Ranger promised he wouldn't let them down and left.  Jack found Katana in the woods.  Jack knew that Katana simply wanted to find a way to return home.  He also knew that Katana had been used by Gruumm and told him so.  Jack told Katana that it was actually Gruumm who wanted to take over Kyoto, and eventually the rest of the world, not the Rangers.  Jack and his friends were trying to prevent that from happening.  Katana did not like the idea of being used and told Jack that the one way to find out the truth was to duel.  Jack was nervous, but he agreed.  Jack suited up and battled Katana.  After awhile, Red Ranger broke Katana's helmet.  Katana accepted the fact that Jack was telling him the truth.  Jack apologized as he used the judgment scanner on Katana, which found him not guilty.  Jack knew it and demorph.  Kat contacted Jack and told him the time portal was opening and within moments, the time portal appeared.  Jack told Katana that this was the last time the portal would open.  Katana was welcome to stay and protect Kyoto here or return home.  Katana told Jack that Kyoto was safe in their hands and he needed to go back to his own time.  Katana entered the time portal and then it closed.  Jack walked away in the woods - pleased with the turn of events.  The Delta Command Crawler returned to Newtech City.  Jack and his friends gathered in the command center.  Commander Cruger told them that they had fought a well earned victory, but they had also lost.  Commander Cruger had left Newtech City unprotected and Gruumm had taken advantage and had several Krybots steal large containers of Iridium.  Bridge asked Commander Cruger if that wasn't the metal that made other metals stronger.  Commander Cruger confirmed that it was.  Commander Cruger told them that they needed to find out what Gruumm was up to.  Later, Jack and Commander Cruger met outside.  Jack was looking over the shadow saber and told Commander Cruger that it was finally his.  Commander Cruger told Jack that he had something to tell him, the saber in his hands was not the shadow saber.  Commander Cruger pulled out the shadow saber while the saber in Jack's hands turned into one of SPD's swords.  Jack asked Commander Cruger where he had found the sword and Commander Cruger told him it was in a closet.  Jack was outrage that Commander Cruger had let Jack battle Katana, the most powerful swordsman of all time, with an ordinary sword.  Commander Cruger pointed out that Jack had won.  Commander Cruger again told Jack that it was the swordsman, not the sword.  Commander Cruger asked Jack if he was ready for another training session.  Jack was ready.  They both suited up and another training session started.

Jack, his friends, and the rest of SPD assemble for the arrival of Supreme Commander Fowler Birdy.  Jack and his friends were dressed in their uniform best.  Supreme Commander Birdy arrive and he was not impressed with the Rangers.  Supreme Commander Birdy wanted a look at the command center and left with Commander Cruger and Kat.  Later, Jack and his friends and the rest of SPD assemble once again.  Kat commented that Supreme Commander Birdy's short visit was too long.  Jack concurred, telling Kat that made six of us.  Boom piped up with seven of us.  Supreme Commander Birdy and Commander Cruger walked in.  Jack stepped forward and told Supreme Commander Birdy that he hoped that he had a pleasant visit and that all of SPD wished him well.  Supreme Commander Birdy thank "Sky".  Jack replied that his name is Jack, not Sky.  Supreme Commander Birdy did not correct himself.  Instead, Supreme Commander Birdy told them all that Commander Cruger had an announcement to make.  Commander Cruger announced that he had been relieved of his duties and that all orders would be taken by Commander Birdy.  Jack and the rest of SPD were stunned.  Afterwards, Jack and his friends walked together.  Z hoped that it wasn't something they had done that caused Commander Cruger to be relieved of duties.  Bridge didn't think so, they and Doggie were the reason Gruumm had not taken control of Earth.  Sky suggested that maybe Supreme Commander Birdy thought they should be attacking Gruumm.  Jack immediately got on the defensive.  He asked Sky what he meant - whether he thought that Commander Cruger was doing a poor job.  Jack reminded them all that Commander Cruger had already lost a squad.  Kat walked up to them and told them that Commander Cruger was relieved because he was protecting them.  Supreme Commander Birdy had wanted the team split up and Commander Cruger refused.  Z told them that she would refuse as well - they all would.  Sky pointed out that they couldn't - they had to take orders whether they liked them or not.  Kat agreed telling them that they were Rangers and had to follow the chain of command.  Dishearten, Jack and his friends walk away.  Later, the alarm went off and Supreme Commander Birdy ordered them into the command center.  There had been a large energy surge.  Supreme Commander Birdy wanted Red, Green, and Blue to investigate.  Z protested that only three Rangers were going.  Supreme Commander Birdy asked her if she had a problem, and Z stayed silent.  Jack, Bridge, and Sky suited up and went on their bikes to investigate the empty stadium.  At first, they found nothing but then Emperor Gruumm made an appearance.  A battle broke out and despite their best efforts, Red Ranger, Blue Ranger, and Green Ranger were defeated.  Gruumm told Red Ranger before he was leaving that he had a message for Cruger - he was ready.  Jack, Sky, and Bridge returned to headquarters and reported to Supreme Commander Birdy.  Jack told him that the energy surge was Gruumm.  Supreme Commander Birdy was furious that the Rangers did not capture Gruumm while he was on Earth.  Kat tried to defend the guys, but Supreme Commander Birdy didn't listen.  Supreme Commander Birdy asked if there was anything else.  Jack and Sky remained silent.  Bridge was about to tell Supreme Commander Birdy about the message when Sky interjected and said there was nothing else.  Supreme Commander Birdy dismissed them.  Jack commented to Sky "welcome to the new SPD".  Jack, Sky, and Bridge walked out and were soon joined by Kat.  Kat could tell that there had been more to their encounter with Gruumm.  They told Kat that Gruumm had a personal message for Cruger - he was ready to meet him on the battle field.  Kat told them that they didn't hear this from her, but that Cruger would like to get the message.  Kat suggested only one of them go, so as to not arose suspicion.  Jack volunteered to go.  Jack found Commander Cruger outside.  He told Commander Cruger about the message from Gruumm.  Commander Cruger asked Jack if Supreme Commander Birdy knew of the message and Jack replied, no.   That the message was for their commander and saluted him.  Later, Jack, Bridge, and Sky were called into action by Z - who wanted the team back.  Jack, Sky, and Bridge suited up, brought the delta runners, and formed the megazord very quickly.  They battled Changtor and judge him and contain him.  They all went to the sidelines of another battle - Gruumm and Shadow Ranger.  They joined Supreme Commander Birdy in watching the battle.  Supreme Commander Birdy was furious at Shadow Ranger for disobeying orders.  Red Ranger pointed out that if Shadow Ranger had, Birdy would not be around.  Gruumm shot several blows at Shadow Ranger and Shadow Ranger deflected them all.  Gruumm vanished.  Shadow Ranger joined the group and lead a cheer for SPD.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers joined in.  Supreme Commander Cruger reluctantly joined in.  Later, Jack and the rest of SPD assemble once again to see Supreme Commander Birdy off.  Supreme Commander Birdy told them that he was giving them his highest recommendation.  Supreme Commander Birdy left and Jack and his friends smiled.  Commander Cruger barked at them to wipe off their foolish grins and asked them if they had some training they should be doing.  Jack and the rest of the group scattered.

Jack and his friends raced down the corridor to the command center, while the alarm went off.  They entered the command center and Jack told Commander Cruger, Rangers reporting sir.  Commander Cruger replied, Rangers, Krybots have broken into the Gold Depository.  You've got to stop them.  Jack and his friends suited up, and drove to the World Gold Depository.  There they encountered Krybots and Green Eyes.  It was a successful mission and Jack and his friends returned to the command center.  Commander Cruger told them that the satellite transmission had gone down and he wanted to know what had happened.  Jack and his friends launched into what had happened.  Commander Cruger told them one at a time.  Jack and his friends all started talking at once again.  Commander Cruger had them stop and asked Jack to go first.  Jack was pleased to be ask.  He told Commander Cruger what had happened and it showed the Red Ranger in the best light with the other Rangers imitating him.  When Jack finished, the rest of the cadets protested - stating that his now what had happened.  Commander Cruger asked who would like to go next.  Jack listened in disbelief as first Sky, then Bridge, Z, and Syd all told their versions of what had happened and it version portrayed that Ranger as the hero of the day.  Commander Cruger commented that it would never be clear what had happened.  Kat walked in and told them she had fixed the satellite transmission and could now play the tape.  Jack and his friends squirmed at bit.  The video began and Jack smiled as he watched the Red Ranger battle.  The tape continued to play and it showed that the Rangers almost had Green Eyes.  Green Eyes released several Krybots and the Krybots overpowered the Rangers.  Jack became puzzled as the video showed a sparkling white ball of light defeated the Krybots and that enabled the Rangers to get free.  The Rangers then followed Green Eyes outside, called for their runners, form the megazord, judge and contained Green Eyes.  After the video, Commander Cruger commented that he found it interesting and asked if anyone had anything to add.  Jack wanted to know what the sparkling white ball of light was.  Commander Cruger did not know, but told them that whatever it was, it was very powerful.  Kat would be analyzing the video to get an answer.  Commander Cruger concluded that current events are altered by a person's perspective.  Jack agreed, but added that there were some exaggerations, not from him of course.  Sky, Z, Bridge, Syd, and then Jack all got into an argument while Commander Cruger and Kat backed out of the command center.

Jack was walking down a corridor with Sky and Z when Boom, Syd, and Bridge ran into them.  Boom shouted out to the group to follow him.  Jack, noting the urgency in Boom's voice, raced along with the rest of the group.  They rushed into the command center.  Commander Cruger barked at them that this was not a play area.  Boom told them that he had something very important that they had to hear.  Boom explained that on his own time, he had built a radio receiver.  Boom had wondered where radio waves go after you listened to them, and logically came to the conclusion that the radio waves went into space.  Boom had wanted to listen to a past broadcast, but instead receive a broadcast from the future.  Jack listened as the message was played.  The message stated the date - 7/11/2040 - the fifteen anniversary date of the day S.P.D. fell to Troobian forces and Earth was taken.  Jack noted the serious looks on everyone faces and skeptically told them that a message from the future was possible.  Kat told them that according to Einstein's theory it was.  Jack pointed out that it was only a theory.  Commander Cruger told Jack that he hoped that he was right.  But considering today is the date that S.P.D. falls, did Jack really want to take the chance.  Later, the alarm went off and Jack, Bridge, Syd, and Sky entered the command center.  Commander Cruger told them that the message had been verified and the first attack had begun.  Commander Cruger noted Z's absence and asked where she was.  Jack told him that Z had freaked out over the message, but that he would get a hold of her.  Jack contacted Z and told her the message was for real and that they were under attack.  Z told Jack that she would be right there.  Jack, Sky, Syd, and Bridge suited up and headed for battle.  They encountered Shorty and a battle broke out.  Shorty was a powerful opponent and soon Jack and his friends found themselves demorphed.  Z joined them, apologizing for being late, and sarcastically told them that she had made a new friend.  Bridge pointed out that they had made a new friend as well, but he didn't think Z would like him.  Jack and his friends suited up and the battle continued.  A giant robot, piloted by Morgana, came into the city and plant a signal devise in the center of the city.  The Rangers called for their runners and quickly formed the megazord.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were stunned when Yellow Ranger took over.  They battled the robot and had a difficult time.  Shorty was spotted on a building rooftop, but Shadow Ranger appeared and told them to continue with their battle against the robot while he took on Shorty.  The Rangers were eventually ejected from their zords.  They landed on the ground, but the battle continued with Morgana and Shorty.  Morgana found the activated devise for the signal and the Rangers were relieved when the signal released fireworks.  Yellow Ranger held up the judgment scanner and it found Morgana and Shorty guilty.  Before the Rangers could contain them, Devastation appeared.  Devastation soon had the Rangers demorph.  Devastation, Morgana, and Shorty left in triumph.  Jack and his friends returned to the command center.  Commander Cruger told them that he had sent an urgent message to S.P.D. headquarters.  Kat had information for them.  Devastation was the most wanted criminal in the universe, with Shorty, his brother, being the second.  Kat had no information on Morgana.  Commander Cruger knew who Morgana was and told them she was evil, powerful and with the imagination of a ten year old.  Supreme Commander Birdy appeared in a hologram and told them that their message was received.  Supreme Commander Birdy regretfully told them that because of the distance, they could not send them any reinforcements as it would leave them depleted and they were fearful that was Gruumm's plans.  Supreme Commander Birdy told them that they were on their own before signing off.  Jack was exasperated.  The alarm went off and Commander Cruger sent them off.  Jack and his friends suited up and headed into battle with Shorty once again.  They fired upon Shorty, but instead of defeating him, Shorty grew larger.  Red Ranger called for their zords and listened in disbelief as Kat told them that the zords were still off line and she couldn't send them.  Things were not looking good for the Rangers.

The Delta Command Megazord arrived and Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers joined Shadow Ranger in the cockpit.  Red Ranger gave the command:  Rangers in position.  Morphers locked.  The battle continued.  The Rangers were stunned when another zord appeared on the scene.  Eventually Shorty was defeated and Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers ejected from their zord.  The mystery Ranger had also ejected from his zord.  The Rangers watched as the new Ranger battled Morgana and Devastation.  Soon Devastation and Shorty retreated.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers walked over to the new Ranger.  They demorphed and the new Ranger told them that he was the Omega Ranger.  Jack introduced the group to Omega Ranger.  Omega Ranger demorph to a white sparkling ball of light and told them that this was not the first time they had met and it wouldn't be the last.  Jack and his friends were puzzled as they returned to headquarters and the command center.  Jack and his friends filled in Commander Cruger and Kat on their encounter with Omega Ranger.  Commander Cruger noted that there was mention of a Omega Ranger in the message from the future.  Jack and his friends started talking about how Omega Ranger demorph to a sparkling white ball of light.  Boom drew their attention to the monitors and they all watched several different footage of the sparkling white ball of light.  They came to the conclusion that the sparkling ball of light had entered the time portal with Samurai.  Omega Ranger appeared and announced himself.  Omega Ranger told them that he was from the future and here to defeat Morgana and Devastation.  Jack and his friends questioned him as to why he was a ball of light and Omega Ranger told them that through the time travel, his body had been crystallized.  Jack and his friends were happy to have another Ranger on their team, but that soon turned sour as Omega Ranger told them that only he could defeat Morgana and her goons and went on to tell them that their equipment was outdated.  The alarm went off and Commander Cruger asked the Rangers what they wanted to do.  Jack felt, as his friends, that Omega Ranger should go alone.  Omega Ranger left.  Jack and his friends watched the battle on the monitor.  They became smug when Omega Ranger started having difficulties.  Commander Cruger reminded them that no Ranger left another Ranger in danger.  Jack and his friends felt abashed.  They suited up and joined Omega Ranger in his battle.  Morgana had already retreated, but Devastation would appear in a giant robot.  The battle escalated to zords and eventually the Rangers defeated Devastation.  They all returned in triumph to the command center.  Omega Ranger would be staying with them until they could figure out a why to send him back.  Kat informed Omega Ranger that his vehicle would be store in the bay.  Boom came racing in and played some elevator music on his radio receiver.  Boom also told them that the end of the world message was gone.  Jack and his friends were ready to give Omega Ranger a tour, but Omega Ranger told them that the already knew the place.  Omega Ranger told them that he had lived here as a small boy and that they knew him by his human name, Sam.  Sam started to fly out of the room.  Jack and his friends were startled and then they raced after Sam.

Jack was in the rec room with his friends, Syd, Z, Bridge, Sky, and Sam.  Syd was reading from a magazine with her on the cover.  Syd told the group:  Gemini's look forward to an exciting day of adventure, romance and financial windfall.  Jack replied:  Ka-Ching!  I can use some extra spending case since the salary I make at S.P.D. is nothing.  Bridge excitedly asked Syd:  Hey, do me, do me, do me!  Syd responded:  All right.  What's your sign?  Bridge told her:  It's hard to say.  My mother went into labor on Trans Pacific Airline.  So I was born on one day.  Then when we landed, it was the day before.  So I was actually born the day before I was born.  Z grabbed the magazine and told Bridge she would tell him what his horoscope was.  Z told Bridge that he would be confused today, confused tomorrow.  Jack and his friends laughed.  Commander Cruger walked in and wanted to speak to Sam.  Jack and his friends started to feel resentful of the time Commander Cruger spent with Sam.  The following day, Jack, the rest of the cadets, and Omega Ranger were in the command center.  Commander Cruger was telling them of the recent robberies that had taken place.  The alarm went off and Commander Cruger was ready to send Omega Ranger.  Jack stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that they would all go.  Jack and his friends all leaped into their vehicles and headed towards the latest crime scene.  Jack and his friends questioned the bewildered shop keeper.  They heard a disturbance and went to check it out.  They were very surprised to see Bridge fighting air and Jack asked him what he was doing.  Bridge landed a partially powerful blow and the monster became visible.  Moments later several Krybots appeared.  Jack told Omega Ranger and Sky to take on the monster while the rest of them take on the Krybots.  Jack and his friends suited up and went into battle.  Bridge suited up as well.  Eventually the Rangers captured Al, the monster, and defeated the Krybots.  They headed back to headquarters and took Al to a secure room for questioning.  Jack sat at the table and told Al that if he told them who else was involved they could take a couple years off his sentence.  Al was not impressed with this bargain and burped in his face.  Jack had no luck with Al.  Sky, Syd, and Z all took turns trying to get Al to talk, but he wouldn't budge.  It took Bridge's endless questions and non stop talking to get Al to break down and tell them that he had been working for Mysticon and Morgana.  Kat and Commander Cruger correctly assumed that Gruumm was behind it.  The following day, Jack and his friends were back at the command center.  Z brought in a flyer that she had found, advertising one of Mysticon's shows.  Z had a bad feeling about it as did the rest.  Commander Cruger decide to send Sam undercover to investigate.  Jack and his friends protested, but they stopped when Commander Cruger asked them if they had a problem with it.  Later, Jack and his friends, dressed in civilian clothes decided to do some undercover work as well, under the pretense that they would be backup for Sam if he needed it.  Syd had spotted a sign and told the others to go ahead and that she would join them.  Jack, Z, Bridge, and Sky all sat and watched Mysticon's show.  They were very surprised when they saw Syd appeared as Mysticon's assistant.  Mysticon made Syd disappear and then asked for a volunteer from the audience.  Mysticon picked out a young woman and she went on stage.  Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones entered the Egyptian Tomb and Mysticon made her disappeared.  Mysticon then ended his show.  Jack puzzled over the fact that Mysticon did not have Dr. Tyler-Jones reappear.  A knocking came from within the tomb and Mysticon opened it up.  For a moment there was a shimmering, white ball of light and then Omega Ranger appeared.  The audience ran for cover, while Jack, Bridge, Sky, and Z suited up.  Mysticon fled outside, taking Syd and several Krybots with him.  Dr. Tyler-Jones was held captive by several Krybots.  The Rangers followed and soon a battle broke out.  The Rangers were surprised when Syd starting fighting them as well.  Syd was under a spell.  Green Ranger convinced her to suit up and then the spell was broken and Pink Ranger was fighting alongside them.  The Rangers defeated the Krybots and managed to free Dr. Tyler-Jones.  Mysticon had escaped into a giant robot.  The zords were sent and the battle continued.  Even with two zords, the Rangers had a difficult time against Mysticon.  Kat had come up with new technology that enabled the Rangers to combine the two zords to form the Delta Max Megazord.  The Rangers did so and eventually contained Mysticon.  Jack and his friends return to the command center and an angry Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger was angry at them for breaking an order.  Jack told Commander Cruger that it had been his fault, that he wanted to prove that they were just as good as Sam.  The cadets confessed that they had been jealous over the time Commander Cruger had spent with Sam.  Commander Cruger told them that he had been getting Sam adjusted to present time.  Commander Cruger reminded them that they were his Rangers and to trust in themselves.

Jack was out in the park with his friends Syd, Z, Bridge, and Sky.  They were tossing a freebie around and enjoying their day off.  The game was interrupted by Rhinix, a previously caught criminal.  Jack and his friends didn't know what was going on, but they quickly suited up.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battle Rhinix, but soon Rhinix disappeared and Hydrax appeared.  The Rangers battled Hydrax, but then Hydrax disappeared and Bugglesworth appeared.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battled Bugglesworth, until Bugglesworth managed to get away.  Jack and his friends returned to headquarters and reported to Commander Cruger what had happened.  Kat walked in with Boom and showed them three containment cards, that still had the criminals inside.  Jack and his friends didn't understand what was going on.  Commander Cruger wanted the cadets to keep an eye on the city's grids for any activity.  Kat told Jack that she needed his morpher for the upgrade.  Jack handed it over.  Sky came by and told them that the upgrade was really going to help and that Kat could do his next.  Kat was taken aback and quietly told Sky that the technology was made to work only with the Red Ranger.  Jack could see that Sky was hurt as Sky told Jack that he was sure it would work great before walking out.  Jack followed Sky down the corridor and called out to him to stop.  Jack told Sky that he had to get over him being the Red Ranger.  Sky admitted that he had had problems with it in the past, but this was not the case now.  Jack followed Sky to his quarters where Sky held a picture of his dad and him.  Sky told Jack that his dad was his hero and he had always wanted to be the Red Ranger, like his father.  Jack reminded Sky that heroes come in all colors.  Their conversation was interrupted by Kat, who announced that Cadet Tate was wanted in the command center.  Later, Sky entered the command center and told Jack and the others about his interrogation with Mirloc.  The criminal they have been battling is Slate - capable of forming other identities with genetic codes supplied by Broodwing.  Jack and his friends thought it all made perfect sense.  Bridge called their attention to the monitor, which showed Sinuku in the city.  Jack and his friends now knew what was going on.  They suited up and headed out in their vehicles.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers soon faced off Sinuku.  Sinuku transform into the three previous criminals and even General Tomars.  The Rangers battled and soon General Tomars revealed his true identity - Slate.  The battle continued and Slate soon formed the shape of Devastation.  Devastation used the circle of fury to trap the Rangers, but they managed to break free.  The battle continued and Slate entered a giant robot.  Red Ranger contacted Kat and told her it was time to send the runners.  The Rangers quickly formed the megazord and the battle continued.  Eventually the Rangers destroyed the robot and were about to judge Slate, when they were fired upon.  Morgana had appeared with a gift for Slate from Gruumm - the ability to be several criminals at one time.  Red Ranger and the rest of the Rangers faced down the six criminals and Morgana.  The battle broke out, but it was difficult.  Shadow Ranger appeared and tried to help them, but he was soon overwhelm as well.  Red Ranger noticed that the battle was not going well and several Rangers were on the ground and hurt.  Kat contacted him and told him now was the time for the battlizer.  Red Ranger agreed and went into battlizer mode 1 and continued the battle.  Eventually Red Ranger went into battlizer mode 2 and contained Slate.  Morgana glared at Red Ranger and he asked her if she wanted some more.  Morgana stalked off while Red Ranger laughed.

Jack was in the command center with Syd, Z, Bridge, Kat and Commander Cruger.  Commander Cruger told them that they had put an all points bulletin out on Mirloc.  Syd was sure that Sky felt bad that Mirloc escaped and would probably blame himself.  Commander Cruger agreed that playing on Sky's emotions was low.  Z was surprised that Sky had any emotions.  Moments later, Sky walked in angrily.  Sky asked Commander Cruger why he didn't tell him that Mirloc was responsible for his father's death.  Commander Cruger told him that he didn't feel it was the right time.  Sky told the group that he should be demoted to D Squad.  Commander Cruger told Sky that was a decision made by the team leader.  Jack was angry with Sky.  He remind Sky that he had told him that his father had fought to the end, and now because of one mistake, he wanted to quit.  Sky composed himself and suggested that they split up to search for Mirloc.  Sam floated in and offered to help.  The group divided into pairs.  Jack and Sam went into the city to search for Mirloc.  After awhile, they ran into Mirloc.  Before anything could happen, Shadow Ranger appeared.  Shadow Ranger told Jack and Omega Ranger to go back.  Omega Ranger wanted to stay, but Shadow Ranger insisted that they go back.  Jack and Omega Ranger returned to headquarters.  Commander Cruger informed them that Z, Bridge, Syd, and Sky had been captured by Mirloc.  Jack wanted to find them, but Commander Cruger told him to stay - that they couldn't afford to lose him as well.  Commander Cruger told Omega Ranger to search for Mirloc in his light form - as it would be harder for Mirloc to detect him.  Sam left to search for Mirloc.  Later, the alarms went off.  A giant robot was in the city and they couldn't send out the runners without the rest of the Rangers.  Jack suggested that he use Sam's bike, he figured Sam would not mind.  Commander Cruger agreed.  Jack suited up and took off.  He quickly formed the zord and began battling the robot, that was piloted by a Bluehead.  All went well and Red Ranger was pleased with himself.  Mirloc appeared and trapped Red Ranger and the zord in his reflective dimension.  Later, Jack and the rest of the cadets were put on display by Mirloc, who wanted to show Omega Ranger his fate.  Jack and his friends yelled out words of encouragement to Omega Ranger as he battled Mirloc.  Things were not going well for Omega Ranger.  Eventually Omega Ranger smashed the mirrors on Mirloc's chest, which released the cadets and zord from the reflective dimension.  Jack and his friends ran over to Omega Ranger.  They faced down Mirloc.  Mirloc taunted them - telling them that it was useless to capture him, as he would only escape again.  Mirloc also taunted Sky.  Jack and the rest of his friends stood up for Sky, telling Mirloc that Sky was a great Ranger and they were proud to fight alongside him.  Jack told Sky to take his morpher.  Sky was unsure.  Jack told him that it was only fitting and to do it for his father.  Sky suited up to the Red Ranger.  "Red" Ranger used the battlizer and eventually captured Mirloc.  "Red" Ranger powered down, and Jack and his friends told Sky what a great job he did.  Later, in the command center, Jack, Syd, Z, Bridge, Sky, and Kat watched a monitor that showed Mirloc being transported to a planet with no sunlight.  Commander Cruger walked in and told them they had done a good job.  Commander Cruger then apologized to Sky and told him that he was a fine Ranger and he won't forget that again.
