BULK AND SKULL

Farcas Bulkmeier and Eugene Skullovitch, better known as Bulk and Skull, started out as the bullies of Angel Grove High School. There were a group of other kids who hung out with them, but it dwindle down to two. Bulk was the leader of the duo. Bulk and Skull spent a lot of time in detention. Bulk was prepared with his own Detention Survival Kit. Bulk and Skull enjoyed giving Kimberly, Trini, Zack, Billy, and Jason a hard time. Their favorite name to call them was dweebs. Bulk always tried to one-up Jason. Either with karate or rope climbing. When Jason attempted to break Bulk's weight-lifting record, Bulk enjoyed mocking him. Bulk also tried to show Zack up with his own dance moves and juggling ability. They also tangle with the various monsters such as Spit Flower, Fighting Flea and Guitardo. Bulk and Skull also share the same experience as the Power Rangers. Their minds were switched in Billy's machine. They were also trapped in a plane that Kimberly had to land and in the same school production. Bulk tried out for the same commercial as Tommy. They managed ninjas who were competing in the same tournament as Jason and Tommy. Bulk ran for school president with Skull as his campaign manager. And they hung out at Angel Grove Juice Bar as well. In one effort to avoid detention, they decided to follow the dweebs up to the cabin and steal their study notes. The Rangers return to their cabin earlier than expected, and Bulk and Skull hid under Zack's bed. This was difficult since Bulk is allergic to feathers and there were feathers flying all over due to the pillow fight between Zack, Billy, and Jason. They were placed under the same spell as the dreams - and their dreams of being Power Rangers ended up with them destroying their own zord. They overslept the following morning and ended up doing detention. Bulk and Skull even arranged and sold tickets to a fighting match between Jason and Tommy. Somehow they always managed to have food land on them or end up in trash containers. Although they did enjoy food fights and started a few such as at the food festival and at parent's day. In the beginning, Bulk wasn't too kind to his sidekick either. Skull would parrot Bulk's words and actions. Skull had a distinctive laugh and a crush on Kimberly that lasted until she left for Florida. When Kimberly was placed under a spell, she made plans to go out with Skull. Skull donned a blazer for the event and was slightly confused when Kimberly wanted nothing to do with him. The spell had been broken at that point.

During a motor marathon, Bulk and Skull were attacked by Zedd's putties. The Power Rangers showed up and saved them. Afterwards, Bulk and Skull decided to find out the real identities of the Power Rangers. This lead to many inventions created by Bulk and Skull and lots of schemes to reveal their identities. Bulk and Skull tried to collect the Power Ranger's footprints and snap their pictures. They made their own jet packs to follow the Rangers while they were jetting. The jet packs were unsuccessful. Using such ploys as disguising themselves as putties, sharks and damsels in distress, hoping the Rangers would show up. They created their own monster Turkey Jerk - with help from Lord Zedd and Rita. Always managing to find themselves in the thick of things. Skull began to lose some of his enthusiasm for tracking the Power Rangers. He had wished that there was a sign that they were on the right trail. As if in response to his wish, an explosion occurred. Bulk and Skull went to investigate and discovered a dumpster. They took the dumpster with them to Skull's dad's workshop. There they tried everything to pry open the dumpster. At one point, Skull thought he heard something, but they continued with their mission. After many attempts, Bulk and Skull sank to the ground in exhaustion. They receive a shock when a miniature Rita Repulsa appeared before them. Bulk and Skull passed out. When they came to, Rita was gone. Unknown to Bulk and Skull the Rangers had grabbed Rita quickly and resealed her in her dumpster. Bulk and Skull attempted to save a baby that was in a stroller heading towards a large drop. Bulk and Skull ended up in the bushes, but Kimberly and Aisha caught the baby in time. Bulk and Skull would end up watching this same baby, Jacob, hoping that the Power Rangers would show up. Feeding and diapering Jacob were new experiences for them. Mr. Anderson, the baby's father, was later reunited with Jacob. Mr. Anderson was grateful for Bulk and Skull's help and wanted to know if they would be interested in babysitting again. To which, Bulk and Skull politely decline and made a quick getaway. Bulk and Skull suspected several people of being the Power Rangers, including the peace delegates, the athletes from the Stone Canyon Triathlon and Ernie. They also had hoped they would be selected as peace ambassadors - which went to Jason, Trini, and Zack instead. Bulk showed an interest in Aisha on her first day at Angel Grove - but nothing every developed between the two. Bulk and Skull also joined the Wanna-Be Firefighters Club. Bulk and Skull were put under a spell by the Wizard of Deception. They were supposed to cut a lock of Tommy's hair, but they were unable to. At one point, Bulk and Skull did find out who the Rangers were. To their displeasure it was the geeks they always made fun of. When it looked like the Rangers would be history, Bulk and Skull stepped in and challenged the scatterbrain monster. The result was that they helped the Rangers, but their memories of who the Rangers were were gone.

In order to impress girls, Bulk and Skull joined the Junior Police Academy. While working as Junior Police, they continued with their many adventures. They tried to take on Rito Revolto. Bulk and Skull got into a cab to follow a crook who had stolen Kimberly's car. The cab turned into a monster with Bulk, Skull, and Kimberly still inside. Bulk and Skull were given the assignment of finding Ernie's missing bananas. They decided to use Kat's monkey, Kelly, to help them. Bulk and Skull receive a shock when Kelly was turned into a monster. Bulk and Skull were also trapped at Angel Grove's Juice Bar when Master Vile decided to throw a party before ending the world. They were surrounded by various monsters, along with Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Baboo, Squatt, and Rito. Bulk and Skull were forced to dance along with other citizens of Angel Grove. When the Rangers defeated Master Vile's plan of destruction, they were among the first to cheer. During their time as Junior Police Officers, Bulk and Skull did a lot of charity work associated with the police department. They continued to attend Angel Grove High School. Bulk and Skull even participate in a competition for a new school song.

Bulk and Skull acquired a motorcycle that they worked on and used a lot. They enjoyed their motorcycle a lot - hoping it would impress Lt. Stone. While out on a test drive, Bulk and Skull run into cogs. Terrified they used their radio to try and contact someone. Luckily the cogs were not interested in them, but with discovering where the Zeo zords were hidden and left them alone. Later, Bulk and Skull would be placed under a spell that made them fall in love with their motorcycle. They also acquired Rito and Goldar. Rito and Goldar had lost their memories and were desperate to find a home. Bulk and Skull's first encounter with Rito and Goldar resulted in a lot of confusion and screaming. But when they found out Rito and Goldar were desperate, they took full advantage. Bulk and Skull had Rito and Goldar doing numerous manual labor jobs while they kicked back. They also went to great lengths to hide Rito and Goldar from Lt. Stone. Bulk and Skull were assigned trash picking duty - to which they have Rito and Goldar to the task. They felt the ground shake and went to investigate. They discovered a space ship. Cestro had come to Earth looking for Billy. After the initial screaming, Bulk and Skull had Rito and Goldar guard the space ship as they went for Billy. Skull dragged Billy out of the party held for him and brought him to Cestro. Skull did have one secret he kept from Bulk, that he liked classical music and was a talented musician on the piano. Skull's mom had Skull start when he was three years old and secretly studied with the Angel Grove Symphony Hall. Skull went so far as to wear a clock, so that no one could identify him. One afternoon, he was surprised by the appearance of cogs who tried to grab him. The Zeo Rangers soon appeared and Skull snuck away. Later, concentrating on the piano, Skull didn't hear anyone come in. He felt his hood being removed and turned around and saw Adam. Adam appeared very surprised to see Skull was the mysterious piano player. Skull explained how he had started taking piano lessons, but kept it a secret, fearing that Bulk would make fun of him. Adam encouraged Skull to entered that evening's entertainment and that if Bulk was a true friend, he would be proud of him. Skull thought over what Adam had said and decided to enter the evening's show. Skull appeared on the stage and there were a lot of comments being made, most of them not favorable. Skull sat down and began to play - his ability with the piano silencing his critics. At the end, he let out his distinctive laugh, pleased with himself. When he turned around and stood up, he received a standing ovation. At first, he soaked up the applause until he saw Bulk approaching. But instead of jokes and ridicule, his friend, Bulk praised him on his beautiful music and even offered an apology for making fun of classical music. During this time, they also took boxing lessons, although the training turn out to be more difficult than they thought.

Lt. Stone introduced the Captain's daughter, Connie, to Bulk and Skull. Bulk was immediately taken with Connie and wanted to ask her to the upcoming charity dance. Bulk was unsure how to approach Connie. Skull offered his advice, but Bulk went elsewhere. Bulk first asked Tanya for some advice and what she looked for in a guy. Bulk listened and turned up at the police department dressed as an English gentleman. Carrying a pot of tea and trying to speak with an accent, Bulk merely confuse Connie instead of impressing her. To make the situation worse, Lt. Stone and the Captain walked in on him. Bulk left hastily. Soon Bulk and Skull were eavesdropping on Rocky, Kat, and Tommy's conversation. When Bulk found out that girls liked poetry, he enlisted Skull's help with his next attempt. They entered the police department wearing clothes of the sixties. Skull played on some bongo drums, while Bulk recited a poem to Connie. To add some atmosphere, Skull turned on a fan which blew papers and chicken feathers, Bulk had been holding a chicken, everywhere. In the midst of this cacaos Lt. Stone and the Captain walked in. The scene caused Lt. Stone his job. Out of loyalty, Bulk and Skull quit the force as well. Later at the dance, they felt badly that they had cost Lt. Stone his job. But Lt. Stone was happy and ready to start his own detective agency and hired Bulk and Skull as his detectives. Bulk felt a tap on his shoulders - it was Connie. Bulk apologized for acting so silly and Connie told him how she had quit the junior police force as well. Bulk and Connie were soon dancing away. As detectives, Bulk and Skull dressed in suits and ties. Bulk and Skull had soon converted their detective office into a playroom with a ping pong table hidden underneath their desks. They had set up an elaborate device that let them know when Lt. Stone was in the building and give them time to hid their games. One of their first assignments was to track down anyone posing as a record producer. Bulk and Skull thought they had found one such person when they overheard a young man talking to Tanya about signing her to a record deal. Bulk and Skull were soon undercover and following him. They even warned Tanya not to sign the deal, a decision Tanya had already made. When the record producer talked to them about being in a music video, they laughed at him. Until Tanya informed them that the record producer was legit. Bulk and Skull raced after the producer, but it was too late. Bulk and Skull continued to run into monsters. On assignment to find missing trees, they were captured by cogs and Admiral Abominator. They were held captive until the Power Rangers showed up to free them. Rito and Goldar had ask Bulk and Skull to find out if they had any family. They tried, but had no luck. The agency did receive a package for Rito and Goldar - it was Rita and Zedd. Goldar and Rito had their memories return, and left Bulk and Skull. Jason had returned from the peace conference, and Bulk and Skull couldn't help teasing Rocky about being replaced. Before they could continue, Detective Stone appeared with a new assignment - discover the long lost nephew of the founder of Burble Baby Food. Bulk and Skull thought Jason was the original Burble Baby and made an attempt to get his fingerprints. Back at their office, Jason's communicator kept going off. Skull had dismissed it simply as Jason's bracelet. Bulk wanted a closer look, when the bracelet disappeared. Bulk was stunned, and Skull simply wanted to ignore what had happen. Before Bulk could go much further, Skull began spooning Burble baby food into Bulk's mouth. Later, they would discovered that Jason was not the Burble Baby - it was Ernie. Bulk and Skull were assign to watch over the models during a fashion show. Skull was part of the show as a skunk. During rehearsal, Skull knock against a model. The model knock over a perfume bottle which poured over another girl. The smell was horrible and no one wanted to be near here. Skull apologized for the accident and preceded to make friends with the young model. He would come up with a solution to the smell problem - tomato sauce. The model was grateful and told Lt. Stone how great Skull was. During Skull's part of the show, she rewarded him with a kiss. Bulk and Skull participated in Detective Stone's Who-Done-It party. Bulk and Skull had spotted Zeo Ranger 5 and went to the Juice Bar to let everyone know. No one believe their story, so they went back to the scene and were transported to one of Gasket's holding cells. There they meet an alien called Trider who had also been captured by the Machine Empire. Trider assumed Bulk and Skull were mighty warriors as well. Skull was about to correct Trider, but Bulk rather liked the idea. Trider soon had them assisting him. Bulk and Skull were busy battling cogs while Trider destroyed the screen that had kept them all sealed in. At first, Bulk and Skull thought their friend did not make it through the explosion and were very relieved to see him came through okay. Trider was grateful for their help and promised to make them legends on his home world. Trider also transported Bulk and Skull back to Angel Grove. Bulk and Skull were immediately telling everyone that they saved the Rangers - although no one believe them. They proceeded to tell Jason, Tommy, and Kat the story. When Jason, Tommy, and Kat believe them, they presumed that they were just being sarcastic and left in a huff. Bulk and Skull had to take a test before they could receive their detective licenses. During the test, there was a monster alert. Bulk thought it was part of the test - to see if they could concentrate. Thinking the testers were pretty sneak and impressed with what they assume were special effects, they continued with the test. Afterwards, Detective Stone gave them their results - they had receive their licenses. Detective Stone told them that they wouldn't have pass except they were given extra points for continuing with the test during the monster alert.

Bulk and Skull returned to the Police department - but it was short-lived. An encounter with Elgar had them transformed into monkeys. As monkeys, they continued to get in trouble and cause problems for Lt. Stone who had taken them in. Desperate to show that they were human, they tried many schemes without much success.

Bulk and Skull tried a variety of jobs during this time. They were vacuum cleaner salesmen, security guards, worked in the Forest Service in a lookout tower, deliver pizzas, gave out birthday greetings, deliver newspapers, worked for tow truck company, put down white lines for a baseball field. They even tried to help Cassie find her dog.

Bulk and Skull did monster tours for Lt. Stone. Since Bulk and Skull had written in the brochures that the tour would feature a monster or Power Ranger. Skull would wear a monster costume that fool no one. During the tour, an actual monster did show up. Later Bulk and Skull tried to hire Ashley, Carlos, and TJ to wear Power Ranger outfits for their tour - which they declined. Another tour with fake Rangers did not impress the crowds, but the real monster did. After that, Bulk and Skull made sure they had all kinds of protective gear on.

At one point, Bulk and Skull were accused of stealing and TJ worked with them to clear their names. It turned out that Divatox had the prohantrons stealing not Bulk and Skull.

Bulk and Skull were trying to discover a new comet, when they spotted the Dark Fortress. No one believe their story of an alien spaceship. Discouraged, they were at the Surf Spot, when Bulk came across an article about Professor Phenomenus. They left to find him and ended up working alongside the Professor. Bulk and Skull spent much of their time with the Professor tracking down watermelons, beehives, and rabbits - which the Professor believe were aliens. They still managed to run into monsters such as Voltage Hog and Waspicable - which Cassie, the Pink Space Ranger saved them from. Bulk and Skull, along with the Professor, had seen through their telescope the Craterities landing on Earth. That same telescope had shown them the enormous asteroid headed towards Earth. They waited patiently outside the NASADA complex for General Norquist to show up. When the General arrived, Bulk, Skull, and the Professor informed him of the asteroid. Later they would take an experimental space craft to escape the impending doom. Instead they ended up back on Earth - the Rangers had prevented the asteroid from hitting Earth. They also ran into another monster, Fright Wing. This time all the Space Ranger came to help them out. After Fright Wing's defeat, Bulk, Skull and the Professor were treated to riding on the galaxy gliders with the Space Rangers. Bulk, Skull and Professor Phenomenus were captured by Vacsacker, along with the rest of Angel Grove citizens. Astronema's latest plans involved transferring the citizens of Angel Grove into data cards. Bulk, Skull and the Professor were the first to be transformed into data cards. Later, Zhane would transform them back into humans, as well as the rest of the citizens of Angel Grove.

Bulk, Skull, and Professor Phenomenus were selected to board Terra Venture and travel to a new world. Bulk and Professor Phenomenus were at the ticket counters, collecting their paperwork. Bulk kept feeling like they had forgotten something. As Professor Phenomenus went through the contents of his suitcase, they realized they had forgotten Skull. Skull had overslept and did not make the journey. Bulk would travel to the new world without Skull.

Terra Venture had almost made it to the new world when Trakeena launched a major attack. Bulk and the Professor made it safely to the shuttle and landed on the new world. Bulk celebrated with the rest of the people of when they saw that the Rangers had survived their battle with Trakeena.

Bulk would eventually return to Earth and rejoin his buddy Skull. Bulk started his own success business called "Club Bulkmeier" where Skull worked with him. They had a variety of clients including former Ranger Tommy.
