Schuyler "Sky" Tate - The Blue Space Patrol Delta B Squad Power Ranger and Second Red Space Patrol Delta B Squad Power Ranger
Schuyler "Sky" Tate is a cadet at Space Patrol Delta. He has been training for two years as a Squad B cadet along with Sydney and Bridge. Sky took his cadet training seriously and more than anything he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Red Power Ranger. Sky's ability to put up a protective force field around him and his friends has helped them all. After a successful training session, Dr. Kat Manx walked in. Bridge and Syd wanted to know when they were becoming Power Rangers. Sky told Kat that it told his friends that being a Power Ranger was helping people and holding up the tradition of being a Power Ranger. Kat informed them that it was up to Commander Cruger to decide when they become Power Rangers. Commander Cruger call the three cadets in for a meeting. Commander Cruger had upgraded their squad to active status and sent them on their first assignment - to capture two street thieves. Commander Cruger and Sky stepped outside and Commander Cruger asked Sky why he wanted to be the Red Power Ranger. Sky told him how he was top in everything and how his father had been the Red Ranger. Commander Cruger told Sky that his father had been the best of the best Power Rangers and they would be very lucky if Sky was the same. Before Sky left, Commander Cruger asked Sky what would he do if Sydney was the Red Ranger. Sky almost laughed as he replied that Syd was a girl. Commander Cruger asked Sky about Bridge was the Red Ranger.. Sky told him that he liked Bridge, but he didn't Bridge was leader material. Commander Cruger thanked Sky for his honesty before Sky left. Sky, Syd, and Bridge left immediately and soon came face to face with the thieves. Sky and Bridge took on one of the thieves (Jack), while Syd took on the other (Z). The battle did not go well and all three cadets soon found themselves on the ground. The two thieves laughed and left. Sky and the rest of the cadets returned to headquarters and a very displeased Commander Cruger. Syd told Commander Cruger they were so not ready to be Power Rangers. Sky told Syd he was ready to be a Power Ranger. The cadets were dismissed but soon called for another meeting. Commander Cruger was promoting them to Power Rangers and sent them after the thieves. Sky, Syd, and Bridge soon caught up with the thieves, but this time the battle was more in their favor and they soon had the thieves cornered. Before Sky could make the arrest, a strange creature appeared out of the sky. The creature turn a metal ball in the air and soon the cadets were surround by several strange looking robots. Sky thought they were the friends of the thieves, but Jack said that they were not his friends before he and Z took off. Sky, Bridge, and Syd prepared themselves for the battle ahead. Bridge suggested that they morph, and they did. Sky was stunned and not happy to find out he was the Blue Ranger. The Rangers battled the robots and soon had help in the form of the thieves returning to help them. The robots were defeated and the strange creature took off. The Rangers demorphed and went over to the thieves. Bridge and Syd were happy that they helped, but Sky walked over and grabbed Jack's wrist. He told them that they were under arrest, despite Syd's protest that they had helped them. Commander Cruger arrived and asked Sky to stand down. Sky, Bridge, and Syd returned to headquarters and went outdoors to train. They were all surprised when Commander Cruger arrived with Z and introduced her as their new team member. Sky told Commander Cruger that she was a thief. Commander Cruger reminded them that Z had outwit them despite being outnumbered. Commander Cruger left and Z asked them what they did for fun. Sky replied that they captured thieves. The Rangers were soon called into another meeting. Commander Cruger informed them that Emperor Gruumm was looking for something and asked Z if she had some across anything. Z replied that everything they had "acquired" had been given to the needy. Commander Cruger told them that the robots they had been fighting were Krybots and the strange creature a Bluehead. During the meeting, Sky tried to pull Commander Cruger aside to tell him he thought their had been a mistake. He was the Blue Ranger, instead of the Red. Commander Cruger told him it had been no mistake and Syd told him to let it go, but it was something Sky was unable to do. Soon the Rangers were sent on their first assignment - cleaning up after a zord battle. Bridge had detected that Krybots had been in the area. They asked Z again, if she had come across anything. Z told them that the only strange thing had been a silver container an alien had left them and Jack had tossed in the trash. Z lead them to the trash can and they each passed the silver container to each other. Sky wanted to take it to Commander Cruger immediately, but Bridge and Z were anxious to do some investigating on their own. Z took them to see Piggy. Piggy only told them that the silver container was a proton accelerator. Soon a Bluehead appeared and several Krybots. The Rangers morphed and began to battle. They were having a difficult time and no one notice Piggy take the proton accelerator. Soon Jack appeared and morphed into the Red Ranger. Sky couldn't believe that Jack was the Red Ranger. The Rangers soon defeated the Krybots. A giant robot appeared and Sky asked for help, but Commander Cruger asked Squad B to stand down and let Squad A take over in their zord. Squad A defeated the giant robot. Later, they were all called into a meeting. Commander Cruger was pleased with their teamwork and fighting skill, but they had disobeyed a direct order and because of that Emperor Gruumm now had unlimited access in the universe. Commander Cruger told them that one day they might become fine Power Rangers, but today was not that day. Sky was not happy when Commander Cruger dismissed them.
Sky was hidden in a parking garage watching two thieves trying to break into a car. The other Rangers were hidden there as well. Over his communicator, Sky asked squad leader if it was time to move in and heard no response. Sydney went ahead and told the thieves they were under arrest. The two thieves took off running and the Rangers went after them. Sky bumped into Jack and they started to argue. Syd and Z caught one of the thieves and Bridge the other one. Jack was upset that he had missed the arrest and told them it was squad leader's fault. Sky told him that for once he agreed with him. Jack asked who squad leader was. Syd, Z, and Bridge looked at Jack in disbelief, and Sky told him he was before walking away. The following day, several alarms went off in headquarters. Sky told Bridge, Z, and Syd that it was a Code 5 alarm. Z didn't know what Code 5 meant and Bridge told her that Code 3 was bad. The four cadets met with Commander Cruger and Commander Cruger informed them that Emperor Gruumm had attacked the their federation in the Helix Nebula. Commander Cruger had sent Squad A Power Ranger to the defensive, which meant it was what to Squad B to protect Earth. Jack sleepily walked in and asked what was going on. Syd told him it was a galactic invasion. The meeting was over and Sky, Bridge, Z, Syd, and Commander Cruger all left. Jack sent the four cadets through the mud/swamp training course to toughen them up. Sky and the rest of the Rangers were not happy when they finished the course covered in mud and to find Jack relaxing in a lounge chair. Jack put on a fake show of sympathy and told them he understood that they were a little edgy. Z asked Jack how come he didn't join them and Jack pointed out that he was the Red Ranger. Jack asked them if they thought he had been reading comic books and Sky replied that he wouldn't be surprised. Sky told Jack that he had miss weapons class and a surveillance seminar. Jack replied that he didn't know it was Blue Ranger's job to keep tabs on him. Sky said nothing. Jack told the cadets to take five minutes to clean up before martial arts class. They all groaned and Jack resorted to ordering them. They wearily walked away and Sky muttered under his breath that Jack had no business being the Red Ranger. Jack told him that he heard that and Sky walked back to him. Jack asked Sky if he could do a better job and Sky replied that he could, but that Commander Cruger had made Jack the Red Ranger. Sky told Jack that he may be wearing Red, but he was no leader before walking off. Later, Commander Cruger held another meeting before sending the Rangers to battle. Commander Cruger inform the group that they were getting zords, which made them both nervous and excited. Commander Cruger asked the group if they trusted Jack as their leader, if not, to speak now. Sky raised his hand, but before he could say anything, Jack replied that Sky was just jealous because he wanted to be Red Ranger. Jack was stunned when the rest of the Rangers backed Sky instead of Jack. Commander Cruger asked Jack to turn in his morpher and Jack angrily did so. The rest of the Rangers morphed and entered their Delta Runners. The Rangers had a difficult time with the monster in the robot equipment. Jack appeared, after Commander Cruger reinstated him, and the Rangers were able to form the Delta Megazord and destroy the robot. They were also able to arrest the monster. Afterwards, Commander Cruger held another meeting with Sky, Z, Syd, and Bridge. Z, Syd, and Bridge were all willing to take Jack back as their leader. Sky was disappointed. Commander Cruger asked him how he felt and Sky only looked at Commander Cruger. Later, he walked out onto the training fields and watch Jack go through the mud/swamp course.
Sky sat in the lounge area of headquarters. His fellow cadets were playing a game of light ball. Sky ate popcorn and read a magazine. He didn't paid his friends any attention, not even when the light ball hit his bowl of popcorn and it spilled out. Sydney came over and asked Sky to join them. Sky wouldn't play a D level game. Syd told him he used to love to play this game. Sky reminded Syd that Emperor Gruumm wasn't playing any games and neither was he. The alarm went off and Sky and the rest of the Rangers morphed and went into action. A monster was attacking the city. Sky was upset when Jack broke protocol. Sky also insisted that they form the megazord right away - Jack wasn't sure and they began to argue about it. Bridge asked them if they could fight after the fight. Jack reluctantly formed the megazord and they battle, but the monster soon vanished. The Rangers returned to headquarters. Sky walked alongside Jack and told him that if they had formed the megazord immediately, they would have been able to arrest the monster. Jack told him that he didn't know that. Sky couldn't believe what he was hearing from the guy that used to boss them around. The bickering continued into the room they had walked into. Kat was there, along with Syd, Z, and Bridge. Kat told them to fight the enemy, not themselves. Sky and Jack stopped and joined the others. Kat announced that she had more arsenal for them and unveil two new bikes for Jack and Bridge. Sky was not happy. Sky asked Kat how come they got new bikes and Kat, wearily, asked Sky if there was something wrong with his. Sky didn't answer. Later, he boxed in his room. Kat stopped by and asked him how come he wasn't training with the others. Sky replied that he wasn't asked and he didn't care. Kat didn't believe him. The alarm went off again and the Rangers were sent to a warehouse to stop Krybots from stealing a crate full of diamonds. Sky rode his bike behind Jack and Bridge. He thought it was so not fair that they got new bikes. Several Krybots blocked the path to the warehouse. Jack and Bridge fought the Krybots and cleared a path for Sky, Syd, and Z to go through to the warehouse. Sky immediately headed towards the crate and noticed it had a teleportation device with a timer on it. Syd and Z joined him. Z asked him if he knew how to stop it, and Sky replied that he didn't, Bridge as the mechanical genius. Z left to free some guards and then returned. Sky still hadn't figure out how to stop the timer. Bridge and Jack arrived and Jack blew apart the timer. Sky, Syd, and Z landed on the ground, and Sky thought that was one way to stop the timer. They all gathered around the crate. Sky noticed that there were more Krybots. The Krybots tried to blast them and Sky put up a force shield that protected him and the rest of the Rangers. The Krybots blew apart the crates and diamonds scattered everywhere. The Rangers battled the Krybots and defeated them. Sky saw all the diamonds on the ground and told the group that someone should watch the diamonds while the rest of them report back to Commander Cruger. Jack thanked Sky for volunteering. Sky told Jack that he hadn't volunteered. Jack told Sky that he ordered him to stay with the diamonds. Sky was not happy. Syd wanted to stay by the diamonds and told Jack it was too big of a job for one person. Jack told Syd that she could keep Sky company. Sky watched Z, Jack, and Bridge leave. Syd gathered the diamonds into one huge pile. Sky sat on a crate and drank water from his water bottle. He was furious that he had to stay and watch a bunch of reflective rocks. Sky told Syd that Jack wanted to keep as far away from the action as possible. Sky told Syd that Jack knows that Sky should have been the Red Ranger. Syd told him that Jack had nothing to do with that. Sky replied whatever. Syd began to toss diamonds at him and mimic how he had said "whatever". Sky told her to stop, but Syd didn't. Sky walked up and pour the water out of his water bottle onto Syd's head. Sky busted up laughing and Syd remarked that it took her looking like this to get him to smile. Sky immediately turned serious and sat back down on his crate. Syd followed him and told him that if he should spend more time with them, instead of being such a loner. Sky didn't want to listen anymore and put up his force shield. Syd gave up and walked away. Later, Sky contacted Jack to let him know everything was okay and wanted to return. Jack told him to stay where he was - they were fighting a monster, but to send Syd as backup. Syd prepared to leave and was surprised to see Sky coming as well. Syd asked him if he was disobeying a direct order. Sky told him he wasn't going to miss on any of the action and left with Syd. Sky and Syd morphed and joined the Rangers. Jack was furious that Sky had left his post and told himself. The monster told them that they couldn't fight him, when they were fighting amongst themselves. Jack told Sky that the monster was right. Sarcastically, Sky replied okay and asked the monster to surrender. Anxious to prove himself, Sky took over and soon had the monster arrested and in a containment device. He told the rest of the Rangers that's how you do it Blue Ranger style. Back at headquarters, Sky received a dressing down from Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger showed Sky that because he left his post, the Krybots had gotten the diamonds. Commander Cruger scowled Sky for letting his emotions get the better of him. Sky walked back to his room and laid on his bed. He stared at a picture of him and his dad, when he heard a knock. Jack asked him how it went. Sky replied that it was brutal and he had received two weeks night watch. Jack asked if he could come in and Sky replied he could suit himself. Jack walked in and sat on the bed opposite of Sky. Jack told Sky that the reason he had wanted Sky to stay was because he was pretty sure that the Krybots were going to come back and Sky was their strongest fight. Sky did not believe him, but sat up and faced Jack. Jack understood that Sky didn't trust him, but he was willing to work with Sky if Sky was willing to work with him. Sky told Jack that it wasn't working bumping heads and agreed to work with Jack. Jack got up to leave and then turned and asked Sky if he wanted to join them in a game of light ball. At first, Sky tried to think of an excuse not to do, but then thought better of it. Sky told Jack that he was not only going to play, he was going to win.
Sky was at the command center with the rest of the Rangers. Commander Cruger told the group that several citizens had gone missing in the industrial district. Syd volunteered to search the area, while Sky and the rest of the Rangers monitored for alien activity. RIC began to annoy Syd and Syd asked Commander Cruger why they had him. Commander Cruger confided to the Rangers that RIC would soon be deactivated as his parts were no longer made. Sky, Bridge, Z, and Jack were upset over the news - Syd was happy. Later, Commander Cruger called another meeting. Commander Cruger told Sky, Z, Jack, and Syd that more citizens had gone missing. Commander Cruger noticed that Cadet Carson was missing and asked where he was. Moments later, Bridge and Boom came in and announced RIC Version 2.0. Syd asked RIC to sniff a vial of green slime and asked if he could find more. RIC burst through a door eager to find the scent. Sky and the rest of the Rangers follow him in their vehicles. RIC stopped at a field and sniffed the ground. The Rangers had stopped and Syd excitedly grab a shovel and began digging in the spot RIC had sniffed. Sky and his friends watch Syd in amusement. After some time had past, Syd had not uncovered everything. Jack told her it was time to give up. Bridge told her that they hadn't had a chance to test RIC. Sky commented that there was no point in everyone wasting their time and started to head back. Bridge, Z, Jack, and RIC followed him back to headquarters, Syd continued with her digging. At headquarters, Bridge was upset over RIC not working properly. RIC became to act agitated and the Rangers saw on the screen that Syd was in trouble. RIC had already burst through the door. Sky and the rest of the Rangers morphed and were soon back at the field. Syd was battling a monster. Z told them that RIC must have sense that Syd was in trouble. Sky found Syd's morpher in a mud puddle (the monster had kicked it out of Syd's hand) and confirmed what Z had stated. Sky and the rest of the Rangers joined the battle and unveiled RIC's new ability - Canine Cannon mode. They soon had the monster arrested. They returned to headquarters and celebrated another victory. The Rangers were summoned to the command center and they all assumed they had done something wrong. At the command center, Commander Cruger was having a ceremony to commentate RIC.
Sky was in a meeting with the rest of the Rangers and Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger told them that despite an all out search, there was still no world on A Squad's fate and they were now considered Missing In Action. Jack volunteered his team to search for A Squad, but Commander Cruger told them that they were needed on Earth. Commander Cruger gave them their next assignment - to keep a lookout for an intergalactic bank robber. Commander Cruger could give them no description or photo. The alarm went off and the Rangers morphed and left. They encountered an alien terrorizing several citizens and slicing cars. Sky told the alien that they were taking him in. The alien told them to mind their own business and soon had the Rangers on the ground as he took off running. Sky and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters. They had a hologram of the alien up and Z was telling the group that the alien was a Tri-Ridonian, which she named T-Top, and his record was clean. All the Rangers, except Bridge, felt this was the bank robber. Bridge told them that he read T-Top's aura and he was not the bank robber. Commander Cruger told them bank robber or not, they could not have him terrorizing the city. An alarm went off, the Colonial National Bank was being robbed. The Rangers left and went to the bank. Sky noted that the cuts in the building matched the others. A witness, Diane, stepped forward and gave a description of the bank robber which matched T-Top. The Rangers return to headquarters convinced that they had their man, except Bridge. Bridge ask if he could run down some of his own ideas. Commander Cruger asked the rest of the Rangers if anyone would like to go with Bridge, but Sky and the rest merely looked away. Bridge volunteered himself and left. The alarm went off and the Sky, Syd, Z, and Jack morphed and headed out. They fought another battle with T-Top. T-Top made a building explode to distract the Rangers and then disappeared. Sky, Z, Jack, and Syd returned to headquarters. Jack was convinced that if Bridge had been with them, instead of his wild goose chase, they would have caught T-Top. Bridge entered, still convinced that T-Top was innocent. The alarm went off with the announcement that T-Top was towering over the city. The Rangers morphed and entered their zords. The Rangers battled T-Top and used crime scene tape to bound him. Sky, Jack, Syd, and Z were all surprised when the judgment scanner read not guilty. The Rangers used handcuffs to revert T-Top to his normal size. The Rangers left their zords and T-Top revealed that he was a Tri-Ridonian Bounty Hunter after Hydrax, a Fernovian robber. Diane appeared on the scene and demanded that the Rangers arrest T-Top. Bridge threw a car at Diane, and Diane reverted to her Fernovian form and sliced the car in half as it landed on each side of her. The Fernovian told the Rangers that she had made a deal with Broodwing to frame T-Top. The Rangers arrested the Fernovian and returned to headquarters. Sky, Syd, and Z were meeting with Commander Cruger. There was a hologram of Broodwing on display. Commander Cruger told them that Broodwing was a most evil creature, only interested in selling weapons, robots, and soldiers for money and not concerned with the consequences. Sky had an awful thought and express it to Commander Cruger - what if Broodwing hooked up with Gruumm. Commander Cruger had a feeling that he already had.
Sky was in the rec room at headquarters shuffling cards as his friends relax in various ways. Bridge just had a brilliant thought and decided to share it with everyone. Bridge said it was no conscience that they all had powers and that they were all Power Rangers. Syd wondered if that was why Commander Cruger chose them. Bridge wanted to know why there were five of them, which confused Syd. Sky walked up and told Syd, Hello, it's Bridge talking. Z told him to back off. Z faced Sky and told him she understood what Bridge was saying. How did they get their powers and why were they all here, at SPD. Sky didn't think it was a big secret. He told them that they were all, especially Z, freaks of nature. Jack told Sky that he was out of line, but Z told him to chill. The alarm went off and the Rangers morphed, entered their delta runners, and sent to stop a robot from attacking the city. Bugglesworth was inside the robot and giving the Rangers a hard time. Before their eyes, a building vanish and not much longer the robot vanished as well. Sky noticed that Z had left her delta runner and asked himself where she was going. The Rangers, except Z, returned to headquarters and reported to Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger was having a hard time believing them and questioned them how there was no trace of the building or workers - did the workers become invisible, Commander Cruger didn't think so. Jack muttered to Syd and dogs can talk, which Commander Cruger did not appreciate. Commander Cruger asked where Z was and Jack replied he was not sure. Sky told Commander Cruger he was sure. He told Commander Cruger that Z had left in the middle of a fight. Jack nudged Sky, but Sky did not care. The missing building was located and Jack contacted Z to let her know. The Rangers headed to the beach where the building stood. Sky found the sight unbelievable and the rest of his friends were impressed as well, except for Bridge who was hungry. The Rangers entered the building and Sky wondered where all the workers were as they found no one except two dolls. Bridge took a reading of one of the dolls and saw Bugglesworth turning humans into dolls. Bridge told them that there was a reason why the dolls were so lifelike. The Rangers returned to headquarters and gave the dolls to Kat to analyze. They entered the command center and sat at a circular table with computers. Z was convinced that the boy she saw was controlling the robot. Sky told her that she couldn't prove it. Commander Cruger told them to stop their argument and tell him what they knew. The Rangers told Commander Cruger that a robot attacked the city, a building disappeared and reappeared 20 miles away with no workers except for two who had been changed to dolls. Sky told Commander Cruger that they had given the dolls to Kat to analyze. Z brought up the small boy, telling them that he had a connection to all this. Sky told her it was all speculation. Z insisted on her belief, telling them that they boy had special powers just like them. Commander Cruger asked Z what should they do and Z told them that they should help the boy. Sky interrupted them and told them that the boy may have special powers, but he was not like them. Sky continued, they used their powers for good. Z replied that maybe he didn't know the difference yet. The alarm went off and the Rangers morphed and entered their zord to battle Bugglesworth in his giant robot. The Rangers had a difficult time and the Rangers tried to place handcuffs on the robot. Instead the handcuffs disappeared and reappeared on their zord. The Rangers were stuck and Bugglesworth disappeared again. Z had already left, once she spotted the young boy and took off after him. Sky told them that they had to get the handcuffs off and managed it. Sky, Syd, Bridge, and Jack went searching for Z and found her in the park with the young boy. Z asked them to stay back, but it was too late. Sam, the young boy, became angry at Z and told her that she had lied, that she did have friends. Sam then used his special ability to move several garbage cans over the Rangers' heads and let them drop. Sam took off. The Rangers returned to headquarters with a doll that Sam had been talking to. Sky waited as Bridge tried to get a reading from the doll. Bridge told them he saw a junkyard by the river with the word Gold. Sky patiently explained to Bridge that it was Gold's junkyard, by the river. Bridge thought Sky was good. Z asked Commander Cruger if she could look for Sam and Commander Cruger sent Z and Jack to the junkyard. Kat and Boom entered the room. Kat had grave news - the vital signs were not looking good on the humans. As Kat talked to Commander Cruger, Boom began to play with the dolls much to the amusement of the Rangers and irritation of Kat.
Sky, Bridge, and Syd morphed and joined in the battle that Jack and Z were fighting. Sky remarked to Jack that Orangehead didn't look that tough to him, but Jack knew better. The Rangers battled Orangehead and he was a difficult robot to defeat. Bugglesworth started to leave, taking Sam with him. Before Sam left he teleported Z, Jack, and Orangehead out of the battle. Sky asked where they went, but neither of his friends knew. Sky, Bridge, and Syd returned to headquarters. Eventually Z and Jack returned as well. Sky, Syd, Jack, and Z entered the command center, Bridge was already there playing with the two dolls. Sky walked over and sat down next to Bridge. Bridge remarked that it was hard to believe that the dolls were humans once. Sky remarked if they didn't do anything soon, they would all knew doll houses. Syd replied that she loved doll houses and then realized what she had said. Jack commented that Orangehead was the toughest robot they had fought yet. Z still wanted to help Sam. Sky wasn't so sure, in his opinion, Sam looked pretty chummy with Bugglesworth. Syd hated to admit it, but Sky was right. Jack asked Bridge about his thoughts, but told Bridge never mind, which Bridge began to spoke some nonsense. Z angrily told them what was the point of having powers, if you couldn't help people. Sky asked Z why she was taking it so personal. Z told them that Sam reminded her of her when she was a kid. Z told them of a vivid memory of when she was twelve that she couldn't shake. Z recalled it was tough being on the streets and she was so shy. The other kids called her names like freak and monster. Z couldn't take it anymore and she replicated herself and ran outside the school. Z kept running and ran into a strange looking creature. Z was in trouble when a cloaked figure appeared and fired a laser at the creature. The creature took off, ripping Z's necklace in the process. Z was too scared to get her necklace. Jack asked her if she ever found out who the cloaked figure was and Z replied no. Commander Cruger entered and told them that the cloaked figure was him. Sky and the rest of the Rangers were startled. Commander Cruger told them in light of the current situation, it was time they learned of their shared history. Commander Cruger told them that their parents had worked at SPD. Although Sky was not surprise about his own parents, he was surprised about the rest of the Rangers' parents. They protested, but Commander Cruger told them it was decided for their protection not to say anything to them. Commander Cruger continued and told them that their parents were pioneers who worked on the technology that was the SPD morphers, along with Kat. Due to certain unplanned events, the Rangers' parents' genes were altered. Kat was unaffected due to the fact that she was an alien. The Rangers first assumed that Kat's parents had worked at SPD, but Commander Cruger told them that Kat was 147 years old. Commander Cruger also told them that Sam's parents had worked on the same technology. Sky and the rest of the Rangers went searching for Sam. Sky did not find Sam. Later, Commander Cruger contacted Sky, Bridge, Syd, and Jack and told them that Z and Sam were in trouble. Sky, Syd, Jack, and Bridge arrived to find Z on the ground after battling Orangehead, Bugglesworth, and several Krybots. The Rangers morphed and continued the battle. Orangehead released a Bluehead and Jack took him on. Later, Jack rejoined the Rangers and using the Canine Cannon mode destroyed Orangehead. The Rangers destroyed Bugglesworth's robot and captured Bugglesworth. Once Bugglesworth was captured, the dolls were vanished from Emperor Gruumm's ship and returned to humans. The Rangers return to headquarters with Sam. Sam was accepted as a cadet. Sky and his friends got Sam a bike. Sam was thrilled and Z commented that Sam had a lot of friends. Sam told them he did, but that they were old and weird before telling them he was just joking. Sam hoped to see them around the academy and wanted to be a Power Ranger just like them. Several cadets entered and asked Sam if he was joining them. Sam told the Rangers that his peeps were calling and he had to go. Sam left with the cadets and his bike. Syd asked if she was old and they told her she wasn't old, Jack replied that she was just weird. Syd was surprised and Sky put his arm around her as they walked out together.
Sky was at the command center reading a book. During the two days that Commander Cruger had attended an important galaxy meeting, nothing had happened and they were all a little bored. Bridge noticed something on the screen and tried to get Jack's attention. Jack was busy telling them all how nothing had happened, no giant robots crushing buildings and so forth. Syd and then Sky joined Bridge and they all called out to Jack. Jack finally came over. Bridge pointed out that there was a UFO on a crash course to the center of town. Sky and the rest of the Rangers morphed and entered their delta runners. They also formed the megazord. They were too late to stop the UFO from crashing. They quickly put out the fire with the water cannon and Z noted that the space craft was SPD. Sky read that there was a life form and they left their zords. A lone figure emerged from the space ship. The figure apologize for causing all this damage and told them he had been chasing a criminal and lost control. The figure removed his helmet, and Sky couldn't believe it - it was his old friend, Dru Harrington. Sky demorphed and said Dru's name. Dru recognized Sky and they embraced, their bracelets clinking together. Sky and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters. Dru told them all about chasing Xantor - a criminal. Sky told the group that he and Dru had entered the academy together and that Dru had left for the Nebula for further training. Sky had heard that Dru was missing - for a year and he had assumed the worst. Sky and Dru sat on the couch together and Jack asked what was the deal with the bracelets. Dru told him that it was the custom on his planet to give bracelets to your closest friend, so that when you are apart, you always feel a contention. Jack commented that they were just bracelets and Dru told him that he guess he didn't have any close friends. Sky stood up and told them that he would show Dru his quarters since the conversation was deteriorating. Jack told them that was fine as he was planning to do some target practice until a ship crashed. Sky and Dru joined Jack at target practice. Sky manned the targets and Jack shot all three targets. Dru complimented Jack and then told him that he had taken three shots. Jack told him that there were three targets. Dru asked Jack if he could use his blaster and Jack said sure. Jack was going to load up the blaster, because there was only one shot left, but Dru told him that was all he needed. Sky grinned as he put on his protective glasses and set up the next round of targets. Dru shot all three targets with one shot. Jack was stunned. Sky walked over and joined them - a big grin on his face. Sky told Jack that Dru had broken all the records back in the days of the academy. They walked off together. Later, Sky walked in and asked Dru and Jack what was going on. Jack was about to reply, when Dru interrupted and told Sky that Jack was interrogating him. Sky became just as angry as Dru. Jack told him that Dru was not allowed in the command center. Sky was furious and told Jack that Dru was SPD. Jack reminded him that Dru used to be SPD and he would have to be reevaluated. Jack ordered Sky to take Dru back to his quarters. Sky, angry, gave a small salute and told Jack yes sir before he left with Dru. Sky and Dru walked back to Dru's quarters. Dru asked Sky how he could stand working with Jack and Sky told him he couldn't. Dru could tell something was bothering and Sky and asked him what it was. Sky told Dru that he had been checking on Xantor and that he was in prison. Dru told him that maybe he escaped. Sky had checked that as well and Xantor was still locked up. Dru told him that Sky was still the best and told him that he was on a secret mission and had already said too much. Dru went inside his room and Sky was left wondering about his friend. The following morning, Sky had breakfast with Syd, Z, and Bridge. Bridge was telling them about the dream he had. Jack walked up and told Sky that he wanted to apologize. Sky did not want to hear it. Sky did not accept Jack's apology. Sky remarked that Jack did not know anything about friendships or SPD. He also told Jack that Dru was none of his concern and to stay out of it. Kat informed the Rangers that there was an alien in the engine room. Sky and the rest of the Rangers morphed and entered the engine room where they encountered the alien. The alien proved difficult and soon got away. The Rangers wondered where he had gone. Jack thought he knew and took off. Sky thought for a moment and then told Jack to wait. Sky demorphed and made his way to Dru's quarters and Jack came out. Jack told Sky that Dru was not there. Sky told him that it did not prove anything. Jack told Sky not to let his friendship blind him. Dru had lied to all of them - he was a monster. Kat announced that Commander Cruger was arriving and Jack left. Sky stood for a moment - going over all that had happened. Sky and the rest of the Rangers lined up as Commander Cruger entered headquarters. They escorted him up the escalators. Commander Cruger was aware of the breach in security and asked how it happened. The rest of the Rangers tried to cover for Sky by giving different explanations. Sky told Commander Cruger that it was his fault. He had trusted Cadet Harrington because he thought he had knew him, but it turned out he didn't know him at all. Commander Cruger told Sky that it was a serious violation, but at least no great harm had been done. Commander Cruger was knocked off his feet and was soon on the ground. Sky and the rest of the Rangers surrounded Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger was barely breathing and had to be taken to the infirmary. Sky noticed the alien creature and took off after him. He pursued the alien creature until they faced each other. The alien creature reverted to the human form of Dru and told Sky that even best friends had secrets. Sky wanted to know why Commander Cruger. Dru told him for the money. Dru also told Sky to grow up - that Sky had nothing while Dru had money and power. Sky couldn't believe this was his friend. Dru started to walk away and Sky told him he had to stop because he had to take him in. Dru turned around and fired at Sky. Sky twirled through the air and landed hard on the floor. His wrist had been hurt and the bracelet had split in two. Dru walked over and told Sky that next time only one of them would remain before walking away. Sky watched his friend walk away, gripping his wrist. Sky joined the rest of the Rangers in the command center. Bridge believed that he knew where Dru/ugly alien creature was - sector C. Sky knew where Dru was and asked if he could have a word with Jack alone. Bridge, Syd, and Z left. Sky told Jack that Dru had been his friend and he had brought him here, he wanted to be the one to take him down. Jack told Sky that he couldn't let Sky do that - it was against regulations. Jack relented and told Sky that after they got ready and Syd did her nails, he could give Sky a ten minute start. Sky thanked him before taking off. Sky entered a dark, projector room. He searched the area and soon Dru appeared facing him. A showdown soon followed with Dru going to his alien from and Sky morphing into the Blue Ranger. Sky knocked Dru down and he couldn't believe it. Dru asked how. Sky told him that he had learned never to make the same mistake twice - he had learned it from Dru. Dru grew larger as the rest of the Rangers entered the room. The Rangers called for their zords and soon battle Dru. Eventually Dru went back to human form. Sky demorphed and rubbed his wrist as he stared at his friend on the ground. Sky walked over and told him that he was under arrest and arrested Dru. Later, Commander Cruger gave Sky another dressing down and Sky was ordered to clean all the cement areas. Sky was busy scrubbing the entrance cement area with a toothbrush when Jack walked up. Sky told him he had to clean all the cement areas. He told Jack that Commander Cruger hoped that even self-righteous, pig-headed, ego driven Ranger would understand that regulations are for everyone. Jack thought it was harsh and Sky commented that it had not been pretty. Jack sat down and gave Sky his bracelet - it was fixed. Sky took the bracelet and told Jack that he guessed a bracelet didn't make a friendship. Jack told him no, but he did admire what Sky and Dru had once. Jack then offered to help Sky and began scrubbing the cement area as well. Sky told him he didn't have to do that and Jack told him that he knew that. Sky started laughing and had a hard time stopping. Jack asked him what was funny and at first Sky wouldn't tell him. Sky's laughter got the better of him and he began laughing again. Jack wanted to know what was going on. Sky told Jack that he was using Jack's toothbrush. Jack tossed the toothbrush that he was using as Sky continued to laugh.
Sky was at the rec room at headquarters. He was playing a game against Jack. Sky's monster was trying to defeat Jack's Blue Senturion. Z and Bridge sat behind them and watched. Sydney walked in all dressed. The Rangers started to joke around. Bridge told Syd that he hadn't gotten the memo on uniforms and Jack joked that Syd probably dressed up to do the laundry. Syd told them all it was her birthday and everyone was surprised. Z asked why she hadn't said anything. Syd told them that actually the following day was her birthday. Syd explained that her parents like to take her out the night before her birthday to an expensive restaurant, with limos, and a live band. Sky told Syd that their invitations must have gotten lost in the mail. Syd told them that they were being silly - she didn't invite them because she knew that they had to work. Syd told them it was no big deal. Kat announced over the loudspeakers that the Rangers were needed in the command center. Sky and the rest of the Rangers entered the command center where Commander Cruger and Kat waited for them. A hologram of Sinuka was displayed. Commander Cruger told them that Sinuka was a notorious criminal. Commander Cruger told them that they had received word from KO-35 that Sinuka had escaped from one of their satellite prisons and they believed he was headed for Earth. Jack asked why. Kat explained that Sinuka is a brilliant scientist who had gone to work on the evil side - making weapons for them. Kat told them that his former associate, Dr. Rheas, lived here and they believed that Sinuka will be after her. Commander Cruger set up surveillance teams. Commander Cruger put Jack in charge of surveillance on Dr. Rheas' laboratory. Jack chose Syd to help him - which she was not happy about. Commander Cruger sent Sky, Bridge, and Z to the beach where Commander Cruger had picked up a strange reading. They hid among the rocks on the beach and soon Sinuka appeared. Bridge wanted to go after him right away, but Sky and Z stopped him. Sky wanted to know what Sinuka was doing. Sinuka entered a cave and after a few moments, left with a metal case. Sky, Z, and Bridge were ready for him and told him to stop. Sinuka was also prepared for the Rangers and released several Krybots. Sky, Z, and Bridge morphed and began to battle the Krybots while Sinuka had his escape. Sky, Bridge, and Z were very frustrated that Sinuka had gotten away. Later, all the Rangers morphed and were in the city to battle Sinuka in his giant robot. The Rangers called for their delta runners and they quickly formed the megazord. The battle was difficult, especially when Sinuka began to duplicate himself. The Rangers were kept busy battling the copies while Sinuka escaped again. Sky, Z, and Bridge were frustrated that Sinuka had gotten away again. Later, Sky, Z, Bridge, and Syd morphed and joined Jack in his battle against Sinuka. Sinuka was back in his giant robot and the Rangers had to call for their delta runners once again. They formed the megazord quickly. It was a difficult battle as Sinuka used his new weapon on them and began to duplicate himself again. The Rangers destroyed Sinuka's giant robot. Sinuka ejected and so did the Rangers. The Rangers arrested and contained Sinuka using the Canine Cannon mode. The following day, Sky, Jack, Z, Bridge, Commander Cruger, Kat, Boom, Piggy, and several friends threw a surprise birthday party for Syd. Syd was very delighted with the party. Everyone was in their civilians clothes, except for Sky. Z commented to Sky that he had really dressed up. Sky started to tell her about being a Ranger and Z told Sky to lighten up - it was a party. Commander Cruger even told Sky to have some fun. Sky smiled as he unzipped his jacket and joined in the fun.
Sky was monitoring the screens and keeping an eye on a battle Bridge and Z were fighting against a monster. Syd contacted Sky for backup - Syd and Jack had been battling an Orangehead. Sky told Syd that he couldn't - there was a monster attacking the city. Sky told them that he was going to ask for Syd for backup. Jack sent Syd on her way. Sky morphed and joined in the battle as well. In his delta runner, Sky rescued the bus that the monster had been holding over his head. Later, Sky drop the handcuffs on the monster. The Rangers were all surprised when the monster began to cry. Sky, Bridge, Z, and Syd returned to headquarters and entered the control room. Jack was there as well - he managed to defeat the Orangehead. Kat was also in the control room. Sky, Z, Syd, and Bridge were all laughing over the monster crying. Commander Cruger entered the room and angrily ask the Rangers if they were laughing at him. The Rangers told him no. Commander Cruger reminded them that they were in SPD control room and to behave accordingly. Sky told Commander Cruger that they meant no disrespect. Commander Cruger didn't listen. Commander Cruger told them to take their childish behavior elsewhere. Jack stood up and told Commander Cruger that he didn't care who he was, he couldn't talk to them like that. Commander Cruger noted that Jack was standing up for his squad. Commander Cruger told Jack that it was about time he took his leadership responsibilities seriously and told him to lead his team out of the control room. Sky and the rest of the Rangers left quickly and entered another room. Z asked the others if it was just her or did Commander Cruger come totally uncorked. Syd commented that Commander Cruger had been cranky all week - she believed it was stress. Bridge thought it might be fleas - as that is what happen to his bull dog. Sky tried to justified Commander Cruger by telling the others that he didn't agree with the way Commander Cruger handed it, but he was right. Noting the looks on the other Rangers' faces, Sky had to admit that it was uncalled for. Kat walked in and apologized to the Rangers. Sky asked Kat what was going on. Kat told them that several years ago, Commander Cruger's planet Sirius was invaded by Troobian forces and he lost everything. Kat told them that it didn't excuse his behavior, she just wanted to let them know. The following day, Sky and the rest of the Rangers were back in the control room. Kat and Commander Cruger were there as well. Sky and the rest of the Rangers were quiet and subdue as they worked. Bridge sneezed and quickly apologized to everyone - not wanting to invoke Commander Cruger's temper again. Kat called Commander Cruger. Sky and the rest of the Rangers got up and quietly stood behind Commander Cruger and Kat. Kat showed Commander Cruger the screen and told him that she had run a scan on the energy levels on the city for the past twelve hours and everything read normal. But when Kat removed the gamma filter, she had a big energy reading. Commander Cruger thought the program was malfunctioning. Kat doubted it as she had designed the program herself. Kat told Commander Cruger that whatever it was, it was big and dangerous. Commander Cruger turned around and Sky and the rest of the Rangers flinched. Commander Cruger told the Rangers to investigate the co-ordinates. The Rangers left and they discovered the co-ordinates was Piggy's new restaurant - Piggy's - acquired by his winning lottery ticket. When SPD arrive, all of Piggy's patrons vanished and Piggy was not happy to see them. Jack commented that they had heard of Piggy's good fortune. Piggy tried to shoo them away. Sky asked Piggy was the rush. Piggy told them that his patrons did not want to be seen dining with SPD. The Rangers asked Piggy about anything unusual happening and Piggy was his usual vague self. A cloaked figure appeared and revealed himself to be General Benaag. Sky and the rest of the Rangers were ready to morph, but General Benaag told them he had a message for Commander Cruger and tossed a small, silver, circulator canister into Jack's hands. Sky and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters and the control room. The canister displayed a hologram of General Benaag who challenged Commander Cruger to a battle. Commander Cruger told the General he no longer battled, and General Benaag promised he would force Commander Cruger to do so. When the message ended, Sky asked Commander Cruger why he wouldn't fight General Benaag. Jack thought it was a deception. Z and Syd wanted to know who General Benaag is and how Commander Cruger knew him. Kat told Commander Cruger that the Rangers had a right to know the truth. Sky and the rest of the Rangers listened in stunned silence as Commander Cruger told them his story. Commander Cruger told them that several years ago his planet, Sirius was invaded by Emperor Gruumm. Sirius has formed an elite group of defenders - the first SPD. SPD had battled for months without sleep, but they were no match for the endless army of Troobians. While SPD battled the troops, General Benaag released giant robots on defenseless cities. Soon they were overrun and defeated. When Commander Cruger awoke, his planet was destroyed and he was the last of his kind. Commander Cruger had failed his squad and his planet. Commander Cruger vowed to never pick up his sword again. Later, headquarters began to shake. Commander Cruger asked if it was an earthquake. Kat told him it was energy tremors. Commander Cruger told the Rangers to suit up. Sky and the rest of the Rangers morphed and entered their delta runners. They discovered a giant robot, manned by a Bluehead, putting several spikes in the ground throughout the city. The Rangers tried to stop the robot, but it vanished. Sky felt he could remove the spikes, and was about to when Commander Cruger called them back. Sky protested and Commander Cruger told him it was an order. Sky and the rest of the Rangers returned to headquarters angry. Sky told Commander Cruger that he could have removed the spikes. Commander Cruger told him that he didn't know what the spikes were or what would happen when they were removed. Jack felt that they should be patrolling the city. Commander Cruger told them that they did not know this enemy. Commander Cruger told them that they were to do nothing but wait. None of the Rangers were thrilled with this idea. Commander Cruger called for Kat, but she did not appear. Boom entered the room worried. Boom told them that Kat had not returned to her post and was not answering her communicator. RIC suddenly became alert and left the room quickly.
Commander Cruger told Boom that he wanted him to use the computer to analyze the robot and the spikes. Boom nervously replied that it was Kat's job. Commander Cruger became angry and told him that Kat was not here and asked him if he could do the job. Boom was not sure and Commander Cruger yelled at him to go. Boom quickly left the control room. Jack told Commander Cruger that he may be out of line, but he felt that Commander Cruger was losing it. Commander Cruger replied that Jack was out of line. Sky stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that he agreed with Jack. Syd, Z, and Bridge also backed up Jack. Commander Cruger told them that when he told them of his past, he did not tell them everything. Kat had told him that there are no secrets on a team. Commander Cruger talked of the battle on Sirius. Commander Cruger had been fighting the front lines when General Benaag snuck in the back and captured his wife. Commander Cruger never saw his wife again. Jack told Commander Cruger that it was not is fault. Z told Commander Cruger that he had been overrun. Bridge told Commander Cruger that he had to defend his squad. Sky felt that the whole thing had been a trap. Commander Cruger was aware of all the facts, but it didn't stop his nightmares. Commander Cruger sent the team to investigate Kat's disappearance. Sky and his friends promptly went to Piggy's. Piggy was not happy to see them as they had just scare away forty customers. Jack apologized and told him if he just answer a few questions, they would be on their way. Piggy told them that he was no longer in that line of work. Sky replied sure Piggy, but wanted to know if he had heard anything about Kat Manx. Piggy told them he hadn't. Z told them that she kinda like the place - it was nice and quiet and she just might become a regular. Bridge told them as an advisor to C and D level cadets, editor of the academy newspaper, and general blabbermouth, he could have the place bouncing with SPD. Piggy broke down and told them that Emperor Gruumm was on Earth. Sky and his friends return to SPD with this news. They were in the control room with Commander Cruger and Boom. Boom nervously stood in front of them and presented his information. Boom told them as they all know, a robot had been placing spikes throughout the city and activating them. Boom told them that the spikes were proton spikes - harmless unless pulled from the ground without deactivating them first. Sky remarked that Commander Cruger had been right. Boom continued to tell them that if a seventh spike was placed in the middle - a mega neutron spike - it would cause sizmatic activity on the quasar three level. Sky and his friends were quick to want to cause General Benaag some damage. RIC stumbled in, badly hurt. RIC had another message from General Benaag. General Benaag revealed that he had taken Kat and placed a wide, silver, belt on her with a timer counting down. Once the timer counted down, Kat's molecules would scatter and she would disappeared. Kat warned Commander Cruger that it was a trap. Emperor Gruumm appeared and told Commander Cruger that it was a trap. The message ended and Commander Cruger told the Rangers it was time to go into action. Jack suggested that he and Z rescue Kat while Sky lead the rest of the team to stop the robot. Sky agreed with the plan. Commander Cruger told them it was a good plan, but not one that they would employ. Commander Cruger wanted all of them to stop the robot. Sky and his friends protested - not wanting Kat to come to harm. Jack suggested that he rescue Kat while the rest of the team stopped the robot. Commander Cruger became furious and told them not to question his orders and to go. Sky and his friends quickly left. They suited up, entered their delta runners and formed the megazord. They found the robot fairly quickly. It was a difficult battle, but they were able to prevent the seventh spike from being placed and destroyed the robot. Sky and the rest of the Rangers went to sector four, area six - a quarry. They all saw another Ranger battling General Benaag. Sky wondered who it was. Syd spotted the familiar sword and the Rangers realized that the Shadow Ranger was Commander Cruger. Sky and the rest of the Rangers cheered Shadow Ranger on as he found General Benaag guilty of destroying five planets, but not guilty in the disappearance of his wife. They continued to cheer as Shadow Ranger placed General Benaag in a containment card and Shadow Ranger vowed to continue to fight for justice. Shadow Ranger quickly disappeared, but the Rangers soon spotted Shadow Ranger carrying Kat. Sky and the rest of the Rangers gathered around Shadow Ranger and Kat in high spirits. The following day, Sky, Z, Bridge, Jack, Syd, Kat, Boom, Commander Cruger, and RIC went to Piggy's to celebrate. Commander Cruger gave a toast to his comrades in arms and his comrades in friendship. Commander Cruger also gave a toast to Kat - his special friend. Commander Cruger thanked Kat for calling him out to be who he really was. Sky and the rest of his friends took a sip of water and promptly spit it out. Piggy's fresh gutter water was not to their liking.
Sky was in the simulation room with his friends and Commander Cruger. Commander Cruger wanted all five cadets to take him on. Jack asked Commander Cruger if he was sure he wanted to do this. Sky added that it hardly seems fair, five of us against Shadow Ranger. Commander Cruger ordered the cadets to suit up and he did as well. The simulation went to a building rooftop. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers thought they would have an easy time against Shadow Ranger, but they were wrong. Blue Ranger and Green Ranger teamed together against Shadow Ranger. Shadow Ranger blocked their moves and asked them if that was all they had. They both replied no sir. The Rangers were unable to defeat Shadow Ranger. After the training session, Sky and his friends went to the rec room. Sky thought he was strong but he couldn't believe the strength of Shadow Ranger. His friends were looking forwarded to taking it easy now that Shadow Ranger was on their side. Sky told them that they still had to train hard and his friends looked at him in exasperation. After a moment, Sky agreed and told his friends with Shadow Ranger, they were golden. That night the alarm woke Sky and his friends up. Kat informed the cadets that a perp was downtown. Sky and his friends assembled in the common room and then suited up. They headed for downtown and soon ran into Drakel. The Rangers had a difficult time with Drakel and soon Red Ranger was contacting Commander Cruger for help. Commander Cruger turned off the communication between him and the Rangers. The Rangers were stunned but continued with the battle. Eventually night turned to morning and Drakel fled - unable to bare sunlight. Drakel had dropped a device as he fled and the Rangers returned with it to headquarters. Sky and his friends entered the control room and asked Commander Cruger why he didn't help them. Commander Cruger told them he was busy and that before Shadow Ranger they had done fine. Sky and his friends were not happy with Commander Cruger's response. Kat walked in the room and Sky handed her the device. He told her that the goon had dropped it and asked her what it was. Before Kat could replied, Commander Cruger told them they could not use Kat's assistance and dismissed them. Sky and his friends headed to Piggy's. Bridge showed Piggy the device and Piggy became frighten. Piggy told them it was a class five containment field used for transporting the evil. Sky and his friends were confused and asked Piggy what the evil was. Piggy told them that according to legend, the evil comes form the abyss itself, in the form of a stone. The evil hibernates every one hundred years and has immense power - capable of leveling mountains and boiling oceans. Piggy told them that the most treacherous creatures will try to get it now that it has awaken. Sky and his friends asked Piggy where the evil was. Piggy told them in their own backyard - in the Ye Olde Bookstore guarded by a powerful warrior. Sky and his friends left and headed for the bookstore. Sky was not impressed with the old bookstore. A old man appeared and introduced himself as Baskin. Baskin asked them if he could help them and they asked him about the evil stone. Baskin told them he had Rolling Stone, Romancing the Stone, Sword and the Stone, but not Evil Stone. Sky told his friends he knew that they couldn't trust Piggy. Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that a giant robot was in the westside. Sky told his friends they had real Ranger work and left the bookstore. Sky and his friends suited up, entered their runners, and formed the megazord. They quickly encountered the giant robot and were surprised to find it was piloted by a Bluehead. The Rangers came to the conclusion that they had been tricked. During the battle with the robot, Commander Cruger contacted them and told them that Drakel had gotten hold of the evil. Once the Rangers destroyed the giant robot, they ejected from their megazord and went after Drakel. Another tough battle followed, but the Rangers were convinced that Shadow Ranger would help them. During the battle, they noticed that Commander Cruger was standing on top of a building and asked him for help. Commander Cruger refused to help them. Commander Cruger told them that they could do it and to trust him. The Rangers renewed their efforts and soon had Drakel arrested and in a containment card. Once Drakel was arrested, his power reverted to normal and the evil was released. Green Ranger used a gripping stick to place the evil into a small, silver, metal case. Sky and his friends return to the bookstore and gave Baskin - the warrior - the evil back. Baskin commented that in his two thousand years of guarding the hideous thing, no one had ever taken it from him. Sky told Baskin that he guess he had another hundred years to get in shape for the next battle. Baskin told them he was moving to New Zealand and told the cadets to keep up the fight before vanishing. Sky and his friends returned to headquarters and the control room. They were angry with Commander Cruger not helping them and wanted to know where Shadow Ranger had been. Commander Cruger told them that Shadow Ranger had been listening to their conversation and had heard them commenting on taking it easy. Commander Cruger told them that ever since the arrival of Shadow Ranger, they had lowered their guard and relied solely on him. In order to defeat Gruumm we need to battle with one hundred percent commitment. No one Ranger is more important than another. Slightly abashed, the Rangers agreed and apologize for taking advantage of him. Commander Cruger told them he was glad because he was tired of seeing their morphers getting kicked all over town. Sky and his friends were at first surprise at Commander Cruger's comment and then laughed along with Commander Cruger.
Sky and the rest of his squad were training the D Squad cadets. Sky told them to remember that you never know when your enemy will strike and that Gruumm rarely gave advance notice. One of the D Squad cadets stepped forward and told Sky that when the Krybots attacked, he would be ready. That all changed within moments as several Krybots attacked the D Squad cadets. Sky stepped back and watched with the rest of his squad. Only one member of the D Squad cadets stood out - Sophie. The training session ended with only Sophie still standing and the rest of Squad D on the ground. The simulation ended. Sky told D Squad the maybe next time they would be more prepared. dismissed them and told them to regroup after lunch. He Bridge walked up to Sophie and told her that if she kept it up, she would be on C Squad in no time. Sophie was very excited. Jack walked up as well and told her that the Krybots were only nuts and bolts. The aliens that encountered were a lot tougher. Sophie replied that she bet there were some tough cyborgs as well. Sky joined the conversation by telling her that's why all cyborgs belong in a scrap heap, where they can't cause problems. Later, the ground shook. When it stopped Commander Cruger send Sky, his squad, and Kat to sector 17. They arrived at sector 17 and Jack noted the massive hole. Syd thought maybe it was an excavation site. Sky replied that it would take a massive machine to dig a hole this big. Kat concluded that something big had dug up from the ground. Bridge suggested giant gophers, but no one took his suggestion seriously. Sky, his squad, and Kat returned to headquarters. Later, Sky and his squad had another training session with the D Squad cadets. This time they were outside. Sky walked along and told them that here on the streets is where it all happens. It's up to us to keep the peace. Suddenly several lasers were blasted. Valko and several Krybots appeared and Valko asked Sky if this is what he meant by keeping the peace. Jack hurried the D Squad cadets behind them, telling them this was no test, it was the real deal. Valko told Sky and his squad he wanted their Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor. Sky and his friends had no idea what Valko was talking about. Sky and his friends suited up and the battle began. During the battle, Sophie got hurt and the D Squad cadets were in danger. Red Ranger told Green Ranger that it was getting a little too hairy here and to take the cadets inside. Green Ranger left with the D Squad cadets and took them inside headquarters. A giant robot appeared and Red Ranger contacted Kat and asked for the Delta runners. The robot began firing at their base, and Kat could not send the runners because the bay doors were under attack. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers watched as their headquarters began to separate and form the Delta Command Crawler. The Delta Command Crawler began firing back. Blue Ranger thought the Delta Command Crawler was unbelievable. The bay doors were free and Kat sent the Rangers their runners. Green Ranger joined them in his. They quickly formed the megazord and battle the giant robot. Eventually the robot fell to the ground. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were stunned when several metal tentacles appeared from underground, wrapped itself around the giant robot, and then dragged it underground. The Rangers returned to headquarters. They concluded that the creature they had seen was Goradon. Sky believed that Goradon was probably going to use the energy from the robot to make himself more stronger. Bridge wanted to stop by and check on Sophie. They all walked into Sophie's room and were surprised to see Sophie repairing her own arm. Jack asked her why she didn't tell them that she was a cyborg. Sophie told them she was afraid that she would be kicked out of the academy. Sky reminded his friends that the computer had been hacked into last night, with no human trace. He asked them to guess who they thought it was. Sophie confess that it had been her, but she had meant no harm. Sophie asked Bridge to tell them that she was just as loyal to SPD as they were. Sky told Sophie she was a security risk and Bridge didn't know what to think. Sky then expelled Sophie from the academy. He had no problem watching Sophie slowly get up and walk out the door.
The following day, Sky and the rest of his squad were training D Squad. Z and Syd were going over some practice drills with D Squad as Sky and Jack made notes in their clipboards. Bridge was sitting and thinking. Bridge asked Sky and Jack if they had made the right decision in expelling Sophie. Bridge pointed out that Sophie had been very devoted. Jack remarked that sure Sophie was devoted, but devoted to what. Sky added that Sophie didn't tell them the truth. How could they trust her. Commander Cruger walked up and all the cadets stood at attention. Commander Cruger immediately realized that one of the cadets from D Squad was missing. Jack told Commander Cruger that the mole who had hacked into the defense system had been Sophie. Sky proudly stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that Sophie was a threat and a cyborg, so they had her, rather it, banished. Sky expected praise, instead he got anger. Commander Cruger was furious with them and told them just because Sophie is a cyborg didn't make her a threat. Commander Cruger order Sky and the rest of his squad to find her. Sky and his friends went to Piggy's - causing Piggy's patrons to scatter. Z showed Piggy a photo of Sophie and asked him if he had seen her. Piggy didn't want to help the Rangers, as they always scare away his patrons. Sky asked Piggy why they were afraid of us - they were the monsters. Piggy pointed out to his customers, they were the monsters. Piggy also told them he hadn't seen the girl and posted the picture on his wall. Sky and his friends separated for a while searching for Sophie, but they had no luck. They regroup and Sky wondered with all the cyborgs in town, why would someone capture Sophie. Bridge realized something, and asked his friends if they remembered what Valko had wanted. Sky, Jack, Syd, and Z didn't remember. Bridge stood on his head and remembered. Bridge got back to his feet and started spelling out Sophie name and making the connection that Sophie is the Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor that Valko had been wanting. Bridge remarked that they practically handed him Sophie. Sky told them the group that they would form a grid and begin searching. Piggy appeared and told them that he was glad that he wasn't captured and that they were looking for him. Jack cut a deal with Piggy that they would stay away from his wagon for one day for the information. Piggy told them that Valko had taken Sophie to Weary Woods. Sky and his friends immediately left for Weary Woods. As they walked along, they were unaware that Valko had spotted them on his computer screen. Sky and his friends were attacked by Valko and several Krybots. Sky remarked to his friends that it was time to punch in. Sky and his friends used their unique abilities to battle before suiting up. The Rangers had arrested Valko, but before they could place him in a containment devise, Valko escaped. Kat contacted the Rangers and told them that Goradon was attacking the city and she was sending the runners. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers entered their zords and formed the Delta Squad Megazord quickly. They battled Goradon, but it was very difficult. At one point, Goradon was about to devour the megazord. Kat came to the Rangers' aid using the Delta Command Crawler and firing at Goradon. Goradon released the megazord. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were surprised when Shadow Ranger ordered them back to base. Sky and his friends entered the command center where Shadow Ranger, Kat, and Sophie were waiting. Bridge was glad to see that Sophie was okay. Shadow Ranger informed the group that phase two of the defense system was not online. Sophie volunteered to use her programming to help get phase two online. Kat was hesitant as she knew that Sophie could also cause a lot of damage. Bridge told the group that Sophie could harm the programming, but that he trusted her and wanted to give her a chance. Jack, Z, and Syd all agreed. Shadow Ranger asked Sky what he thought because the decision had be unanimous. Sky thought for a moment and told Sophie that apparently he is a monster too. Sky added that there would be no more judgments and that she was alright in his book. Shadow Ranger sent B Squad back to their zord while Kat and Sophie worked on getting phase two working. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were impressed as they watch the base form into the Delta Command Megazord. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers entered the Delta Command Megazord through entry chutes. Inside they quickly got into their positions and began battling Goradon. Eventually they destroyed Goradon and Bridge commented that it was all thanks to Sophie. The following day, Sky was in the eating area with Jack, Syd, and Z. He was fighting with the food machine and banging on it. Sky commented that these stupid robots never work. Sophie walked in and helped him out. Sky told her thanks and told Sophie he hadn't meant what he had just said. Sophie smiled and told him that she knew. Sky grinned a little and then Bridge walked in with an announcement. Bridge told them that their favorite IT girl had been transferred to the Fada quadrant to overhaul their systems. Sophie was excited to use her programming to help people. Sky and his friends were happy for Sophie.
Sky was in the command center with Jack, Commander Cruger, and Kat. Kat told Commander Cruger that we have a problem. The computer pick up an anomaly in the local energy grid. Kat had never seen anything like it. Sky and Jack walked over to the computer and Jack commented that it was off the charts, it's massive. Commander Cruger told Landors and Tate to check it out. Sky and Jack left and search an empty building. Sky told Jack that according to Kat's quadrants, this was the area was the source of energy. Jack found it hard to believe, as there wasn't even any electricity in the building. Sky told Jack that Kat was never wrong and to look for something massive. Jack had spotted a laptop in the middle of an empty room and told Sky or something small. Sky glanced at the laptop and told Jack that no ordinary laptop triggers SPD alarms. Sky and Jack moved closer to the laptop to investigate when Tamars appeared. Tamars assured them that this was no ordinary laptop and then transported them to a small, white room. Sky and Jack searched the room for a way to escape, but they couldn't find one. Tamars appeared and was pleased that he would be able to present Emperor Gruumm with two SPD cadets. Jack told Tamars that they were no ordinary cadets and both he and Sky suited up. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger battle Tamars. Tamars soon teleported them to the top of a building. Blue Ranger was okay, but Red Ranger was dangling off the ledge. Blue Ranger fought Tamars and as soon as he could, he raced over to the edge and pulled Red Ranger up. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger continued to battle Tamars and when they started to make some progress, Tamars teleported them to a moving truck. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger continued to battle Tamars, but they were getting fed up with being constantly teleported. Blue Ranger noticed the device Tamars held in his hand and told Red Ranger that the device must be the key. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger battle Tamars and tried to get the device, but they were unable to do so. Soon, they were teleported back to the original white room they had started in. Tamars was ready to teleport them to Emperor Gruumm, when Boom fell out of the ceiling and onto Tamars. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger helped Boom to his feet and asked him what he was doing. Boom told them that he was rescuing them and then panic when he noticed he didn't have the controller. Blue Ranger shook his head. Blue Ranger and Red Ranger battle Tamars while Boom went after the controller. Eventually, Boom got hold of the controller and they teleported to the lab at SPD. Tamars tried to emerge from the computer, but Boom quickly unplug the computer. Commander Cruger felt that was not the last time they would see Tamars. Sky told Boom that he had done a good job. Commander Cruger announced to Boom that since he did not sign his letter of resignation, he could not accept it and tore the letter in two. Sky and his friends cheered for Boom.
Sky was off duty and working in the command center. It was quiet and only RIC was there. RIC came brining a small red ball towards Sky's feet and dropping it. Sky snapped at RIC and told him I said no. Sky suddenly jumped when Jack walked up behind him and shouted Yo, Sky, what's up! Exasperated, Sky replied perfect, now I got to start over. Jack asked Sky what he was doing anyways - he thought he was off duty. Sky told him he was and continued I do this to relax. Jack remarked that all work and no play makes Sky a dull boy. Sky had had enough and told Jack to go and to take RIC with him. The alarms in the base went off. Z, Bridge, and Syd join the guys in the command center. They suited up, entered their delta runners, and formed the megazord quickly. The Rangers battled Wootox in a giant robot. The battle was difficult and Wootox managed to get away. Blue Ranger called for back up in the form of Shadow Ranger. Shadow Ranger, in the Delta Command Megazord, stopped Wootox from escaping and destroyed the giant robot. Wootox ejected to the ground and the battle continued. The Rangers managed to capture Wootox and Blue Ranger placed the handcuffs on the creature. They all went back to headquarters where Sky and Jack escorted Wootox onto an elevator that lead to the holding cells. Jack wondered why Commander Cruger wanted to hold Wootox for questioning, he didn't think Wootox had any information. Sky wirily replied that they wouldn't find out until Wootox was questioned. Sky told Jack to go ahead and fill out the paperwork and he would escort Wootox the rest of the way. Jack asked him if he was sure and got Sky's look in response. Sky left the elevator with Wootox in a firm grip. Wootox tried to scare a guard, Danny. Sky told Danny to be careful as they continued to walk towards a holding cell. Wootox was questioning Sky about the fact that the base could form into a megazord. Sky didn't answer. They stopped in front of a cell and Sky began to punch in the code to open the bars. Wootox fell to his knees, claiming that he couldn't breath Earth's air. Sky wasn't falling for it and told Wootox to get up. Wootox wouldn't. Sky reached over and pulled Wootox to his feet. Caught off guard, Sky became the captive of Wootox. Wootox pressed his head against Sky and Sky felt a surge go through his body. When he recovered, he discovered that he was in Wootox's body and Wootox was in his body. Sky was not happy and told Wootox to switch them back. Wootox refused and to make matters worse, Wootox/Sky destroyed the translator wrapped around Sky/Wootox. Sky/Wootox could only respond in growls and grunts. Wootox/Sky tossed Sky/Wootox into the cell and shut the cell doors. Wootox/Sky walked away. Sky/Wootox was in a dilemma and didn't know how he was going to get out of it. Sky/Wootox tried to communicate with Danny. Danny walked up to the cell, and not understanding, told Sky/Wootox to settle down and sent an electric charge on the bars. Sky/Wootox fell back into his cell. After some time, Sky/Wootox knew that he had to get out. He reached over to the control panel and pressed the code that opened the bars to his cell. Sky/Wootox escaped, but unfortunately, his escaped was noted and alarms went off at base. Sky/Wootox hid in a shaft above as he watched his friends below search for him. Sky/Wootox was angry. He came across Wootox/Sky and they battled. Sky/Wootox almost had Wootox/Sky when suddenly his friends appeared and told him to put their friend down. Sky/Wootox tossed Wootox/Sky to their feet. He wanted desperately to communicate to them who he was. He ran towards them, grab a hold of Syd, and pleaded with her to recognize him. All the cadets saw was a monster attacking them and they went into action, battling him. Sky/Wootox realized that the plan wasn't working and took off. He managed to get outside and sat alone. Sky/Wootox knew he was a wanted criminal who would be deleted on site. He wondered what Wootox/Sky's plan was. He remembered the conversation in the corridor and realized that Wootox/Sky was after the Delta Command Megazord. Sky/Wootox knew he had to stop him. Sky/Wootox charged ahead. Bridge, Jack, Z, and Syd saw him running towards them, suited up, and began firing at him. Sky/Wootox pay no attention as he desperately tried to make it into the base. He leaped over the heads of his friends and managed to get inside, just as the base doors sealed. Sky/Wootox headed straight for the cockpit of the Delta Command Megazord. Wootox/Blue Ranger had already form the megazord and was preparing to attack the city. Instead, Sky/Wootox attacked him. The Megazord was powered down and Sky/Wootox and Wootox/Blue Ranger ejected to the ground below. The battle continued on ground. Wootox/Blue Ranger taunted Sky/Wootox with the fact that if he destroyed him, he would never get his body back. Sky/Wootox didn't care, as long as he prevented Wootox/Blue Ranger from causing any damage. Wootox/Blue Ranger was surprised. Sky/Wootox gave him every thing he had and soon Wootox/Blue Ranger was demorph. Wootox/Sky began to look concern as Sky/Wootox prepare for the fatal blow. Red Ranger, Pink Ranger, Green Ranger, and Yellow Ranger appeared. Sky/Wootox couldn't believe it. The Rangers were now ready to give him the fatal blow when suddenly Shadow Ranger and RIC appeared. Shadow Ranger informed the rest of the Rangers that Sky and Wootox may have changed bodies. Wootox/Sky declared that they had switched back and that they now needed to destroy Wootox before it was too late. The Rangers didn't know what to do. Red Ranger came up with an idea. Red Ranger called RIC over and tossed the red ball out. RIC went to get it and then headed towards Wootox/Sky. RIC paused for a moment and then abruptly turned around and dropped the ball at Sky/Wootox's feet. Sky/Wootox felt immense gratitude towards RIC and thanked him. The Rangers realized that Sky and Wootox were still switched. The Rangers grabbed a hold of Wootox/Sky and held him as Sky/Wootox raced towards them. They pressed their foreheads together and another surge went through them. This time Sky came to in his own body. Shadow Ranger told him it was good to have him back. Sky was glad to be back. He suited up and the Rangers arrested and contained Wootox. Sky was glad to be back in blue. Many hours later, Sky was playing catch with RIC. Bridge joined them and asked Sky if he wasn't playing with RIC a couple of hours ago. Sky told Bridge that he had been and he still was playing with RIC. He had promised to play with RIC until RIC got tired - after all if it wasn't for RIC, he would have been toast. Bridge pointed out that RIC was a robot and would never tired. Sky wasn't fazed. He told Bridge that there was always tomorrow. Sky tossed the ball out one last time. RIC went after it and something broke. Sky and Bridge looked at each other twice and then took off running.
Sky was in the rec room with his friends. He was watching as Bridge tried to read Z's energy thoughts. Bridge told Z that she was thinking that he had lost it. Z confirm it. Sky told them that was what he was thinking as well. Syd piped up and told them she had been thinking the same thing. Bridge told them that thoughts had energy and reading thoughts was the new weapon of the future. Sky had sat down next to Syd. He called Bridge "Thought Man" and asked him to read Jack's thoughts. Jack was standing with his back towards the group deep in thought. Bridge concentrated and soon told them what Jack was thinking, it's not fair, Commander Cruger won't let me have the shadow saber because he knows I would win. Bridge finished and Sky drew Jack's attention to the group. They asked him what he was thinking and Jack repeated everything that Bridge had just said. The alarms went off and Kat announced that the Rangers were wanted in the command center. Sky and his friends hurried into the command center where Commander Cruger and Kat were busy at a computer screen. Commander Cruger told them that an large amount of energy had been located in Kyoto, Japan. Commander Cruger believed a time portal was opening up and he was prove right, when an alien appeared out of the portal. Commander Cruger recognized the alien as a powerful warrior and told the Rangers that they needed to investigate what Katana was up to. Sky and his friends were transported to Kyoto. Once they arrived, Syd commented that the warrior could be anywhere. Sky suggested that they used their new weapon. Bridge was happy his friends had such faith in him. Bridge soon read the confused energy thoughts of Katana. Jack was impressed and told them let's find a Samurai. Soon Sky and his friends came across Katana as he was chasing off a group of people in their armored dragons. Katana turned around and noted their aggressive stance. Katana assumed they were warriors intent on taking over Kyoto. Jack told Katana that they were SPD. Sky told Katana to surrender quietly. Katana refused to surrender his sword to anyone, but his emperor. Sky and his friends battle Katana. Broodwing was close by and he didn't like the odds. Broodwing released several Krybots. Sky and his friends were kept busy battling the Krybots, while Katana slipped away. After the defeat of the Krybots, Sky and his friends continued their search for Katana. Bridge got a temporal energy reading on Katana, but he told the group that the longer Katana stay, the more his energy readings would fade. Suddenly the ground shook and Sky and his friends spotted a giant robot taking temples from Kyoto. Sky contacted Commander Cruger about this new development. Bridge informed them that Katana was not in the robot. Sky and his friends follow Bridge's reading and soon found Katana at his own family temple. Sky and his friends suited up and another battle broke out between the Rangers and Katana. Katana managed to slip away once again. The Delta Command Crawler had arrived in Kyoto, and Commander Cruger sent the Rangers their delta runners. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers entered the delta runners quickly and were battling the robot. The Rangers were not making any progress, and Shadow Ranger called the Rangers back - telling them that they needed more power. The Rangers returned and the Delta Command Megazord was formed. The Rangers battled the robot once again. Kat contacted them and told them that a Bluehead was piloting the robot. Red Ranger knew something was wrong. Shadow Ranger told them that he had walked into Gruumm's trap. Shadow Ranger sent Red Ranger to find Katana. Red Ranger left and the rest of the Rangers continued their battle with the robot. Kat contacted them and told them if they aimed at the blue orbs on the robot, they would release the buildings unharmed. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers did so and the buildings were return to their original location. Eventually the Rangers destroyed the robot. Red Ranger located Katana and found him innocent and sent him back home. The Delta Command Crawler returned to Newtech City. Commander Cruger held another meeting with the B Squad cadets. Commander Cruger informed them that while they were in Japan, Gruumm took advantage of the situation and sent several Krybots to steal large containers of Iridium. Bridge asked Commander Cruger isn't Iridium the metal they add to other metals to make them stronger. Commander Cruger confirmed that was. Commander Cruger told the cadets that they knew to find out what Gruumm was up to.
Sky, his friends, and the rest of the SPD were assemble for the arrival of Supreme Commander Fowler Birdy. Sky and his friends were dressed in their uniform best. Supreme Commander Birdy arrived and he was not impressed with the Rangers. Supreme Commander Birdy wanted to see the command center and Commander Cruger and Kat left with him. Later, Sky and the rest of SPD gathered to see Supreme Commander Birdy off. Kat muttered under her breath that Supreme Commander Birdy's short visit was too long for her. Jack muttered back that made six of them. Boom piped up that it made seven of them. Supreme Commander Birdy and Commander Cruger entered. Jack stepped forward and told Supreme Commander Birdy that on the behalf of SPD, they hoped he had a pleasant day. Supreme Commander Birdy thank "Sky" and Jack corrected him. Not that it made a difference. Supreme Commander Birdy told the group that Commander Cruger had an announcement. Commander Cruger told them how it had been a privilege serving with them. Sky felt proud as he heard these words. Sky's pride turned into stunned silence as Commander Cruger announced that he had been relieved of his duties and that they would be taking their orders from Supreme Commander Birdy. After the assembly broke up, Sky and his friends walked together. Z was concern that it was something that they had done that caused Commander Cruger to be dismissed. Bridge didn't think so, as Earth was the last place not conquered by Gruumm and that was because of them and Doggie. Sky suggested that maybe Supreme Commander Birdy wanted them attacking Gruumm and not waiting. Jack became defensive and ask Sky if he thought Commander Cruger was doing a poor job. Jack reminded them that Commander Cruger had already lost a squad. Kat joined in and told them that Commander Cruger was dismissed because he was trying to protect them. Supreme Commander Birdy had wanted to split the team and Commander Cruger refused. Z told them that she would refuse as well, they would all refuse. Sky told Z and the rest that they couldn't do that. They obeyed orders whether they like them or not. Kat agreed, telling them that they were Rangers. Sky and his friends left. Later, the alarm went off and the team was summoned by Supreme Commander Birdy. An large energy surge had taken place and Supreme Commander Birdy wanted Blue, Red, and Green to investigate. Z protested, asking why three. Supreme Commander Birdy asked her if she had a problem and Z stayed silent. Sky, Bridge, and Jack suited up, went on their bikes and entered the empty stadium where the energy surge had taken place. At first, there was nothing, but then Gruumm appeared. Blue Ranger reminded Red Ranger and Green Ranger that this was what they had been training for. They went into action and despite their best efforts, they were defeated by Gruumm. Before Gruumm left, he told them he had a message for Commander Cruger - he was waiting. Sky, Jack, and Bridge returned to headquarters and reported in. Jack told Supreme Commander Birdy that the energy surge had been Gruumm. Supreme Commander Birdy was angry that they did not capture Gruumm. Kat tried to defend the guys, but Supreme Commander Birdy wasn't listening. Supreme Commander Birdy asked them if there was anything else. Sky and Jack stayed silent. Bridge started to tell Supreme Commander Birdy about the message, but Sky interjected, stating that they had been lucky to get out alive. Supreme Commander Birdy dismissed them. Sky, Bride, and Jack left the command center and they were soon joined by Kat. Kat knew Gruumm had said something. They told her that Gruumm had left a personal message for Cruger - that he was ready to battle. Kat told them that they didn't hear it from her, but Cruger would want to know. Only one could go so that no one would become suspicious. Jack volunteered to go. Later, Yellow Ranger contacted the guys and told them that she wanted the team back. Sky, Jack, Bridge suited up, brought the delta runners and formed the megazord. They defeated, judge, and contain Changtor. The Rangers immediately went to another battlefield. This time they stood on the sidelines as Shadow Ranger battle Gruumm. Supreme Commander Birdy was furious that Shadow Ranger had disobeyed his orders. Red Ranger pointed out that if he hadn't then Supreme Commander Birdy would not be here. Gruumm retreated. Shadow Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers and lead a cheer for SPD. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers joined in. Supreme Commander Birdy reluctantly joined in. Later, Sky and the rest of SPD were assemble once again to see Supreme Commander Birdy off. Supreme Commander Birdy told them that he was writing his highest recommendation for them and then he left. Sky and his friends were grinning when Commander Cruger faced them. Commander Cruger barked at them to wipe their foolish grins off their faces and asked them if they didn't have some training to do. Sky and the rest of SPD scattered.
Sky and his friends raced down the corridor towards the command center as the alarms went off. When they entered, Jack told Commander Cruger, Rangers reporting, Sir. Commander Cruger replied Rangers, Krybots have broken into the Gold Depository. You've got to stop them. Sky and his friends suited up and drove to the World Gold Depository. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers encountered several Krybots and Green Eyes, but they managed to successfully defeated the Krybots, and judge and contain Green Eyes. Sky and his friends returned to the command center. The satellite transmission had gone down and Commander Cruger asked the group what had happened. Sky and his friends all answered at once. Commander Cruger told them perhaps it would be better if they went one at a time. Sky and his friends all started talking at once. Commander Cruger then selected Jack to tell him what had happened. Sky listened in disbelief as Jack told what happened - and how the rest of the Rangers wanted to be like Red Ranger and admired Red Ranger. Sky, Syd, Bridge, and Z protested that was not what had happened when Jack finished. Commander Cruger asked who would like to go next and Sky told him that he would. Sky told Commander Cruger what had happened - with Blue Ranger becoming the hero of the day. When Sky finished, his friends protested that Sky had not told the truth. Sky listened to several other versions of what had happened from Bridge, Z, and Syd and each time complained that it was not what had happened. Commander Cruger commented that it would never be clear what had happened. Kat walked in and told them that the satellite transmission had been fixed, and she had repaired the video. Sky and his friends squirmed as the video played. At first, Sky enjoyed seeing the Blue Ranger battle the Krybots and Green Eyes. He became concern when the video showed Green Eyes released several more Krybots that overpowered the Rangers. A sparkling white ball of light knocked the Krybots aside, enabling the Rangers to free themselves. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers headed outside and spotted Green Eyes in a giant robot. Pink Ranger called for the runners and they quickly formed the megazord. The Rangers battle Green Eyes in the robot, destroyed the robot, and judged and contained Green Eyes. The video ended and Commander Cruger commented that he had found it interesting. Commander Cruger asked if anyone had anything to add. Jack wanted to know what the sparkling white ball of light was. Commander Cruger told them he didn't know, but whatever it was, it was very powerful. Kat would be doing an analyze of the video to determine what the ball of light was. Commander Cruger told them that current events, when viewed by the participants always depended on one's perspective. Jack agreed, but he told Commander Cruger there had been some exaggerations, not on his part, of course. Sky and his friends began to argue again as Commander Cruger and Kat slowly backed out of the room.
Sky was walking down a corridor with Jack and Z when Boom, Syd, and Bridge crashed into them. Boom spoke with urgency and in fragment sentences told them "Follow" - "Don't Talk". Sky picked up on Boom's urgency and he raced along with everyone else into the command center. Commander Cruger barked at them that the command center was not a play area. Boom responded by telling Commander Cruger, not play, serious. Boom told them that he had wondered where radio waves go after they are broadcast and came to the logical conclusion that they went into space. Boom told them that he had built a radio receiver, hoping to heard old broadcasts. Instead, Boom received a message from the future. Sky became concerned as he listened to the message. The message stated that 7/11/2040 was the fifteen anniversary of the Troobian forces taking over Earth and the fall of S.P.D. The message also stated that the Omega Ranger had been sent, but they hadn't heard from him. Jack noted everyone's serious looks and told skeptically noted that a message from Earth wasn't possible. Kat told them if Einstein's' theory about time was right, it was possible. Jack noted that it was simply a theory. Commander Cruger asked Jack that since today was the date the S.P.D. falls, did he really want to take the chance that message that the warning was not real. Later, Sky, Jack, Syd, and Bridge entered the command center. A alarm was going off. Commander Cruger told them that the message had been verified and the attack had begun. Commander Cruger asked them where Z was and Jack told him that Z had freaked out after hearing the message, but he would contact her. Jack contacted Z and told her the message was for real and the attack had begun. Sky, Bridge, Jack, and Syd suited up and headed into battle. They encountered Shorty and Shorty prove very difficult for the Rangers. The Rangers ended up demorph and Z joined them - apologizing for being late and sarcastically told them that she had met a new friend. Bridge told her that they had too, but he didn't think she would like him. Sky commented that he had a feeling it was going to be a long day. Sky and his friends suited up again. Shorty was soon joined by a giant robot. Kat sent the Rangers their runners and the megazord was quickly formed. The robot planted a signal device downtown. Yellow Ranger was outraged and much to Blue Ranger and the rest of the Ranger's amusement, took over. The Rangers had a difficult time and soon spotted Shorty on a building rooftop. Shadow Ranger appeared and told them he would take care of Shorty and they should just concentrate on the robot. Eventually, the Rangers were ejected from their megazord. The battle continued on the ground. The Rangers soon had Morgana and Shorty backing up. Morgana found the activation device and pressed it. Much to the relief of the Rangers, it was fireworks. Yellow Ranger use the judgment scanner and found Morgana and Shorty guilty, but before the Rangers could contain her Devastation appeared. The battle continued with Blue Ranger, Green Ranger, and Red Ranger battling Shorty. Pink Ranger and Yellow Ranger battling Morgana and Shadow Ranger taking on Devastation. Eventually the Rangers were defeated and Devastation, Shorty, and Morgana left in triumph. Sky and his friends returned to the command center. Commander Cruger informed them that he had sent an urgent message to S.P.D. headquarters. Kat had information for them. Devastation was the most wanted criminal in the galaxy, with Shorty, his brother, the second. Kat didn't have any information on Morgana, but Commander Cruger did. Commander Cruger told them that Morgana was evil, powerful and with the imagination of a ten year old. Supreme Commander Birdy appeared in a hologram and told them that their message had been received. Supreme Commander Birdy regretfully told them that he would be unable to send them reinforcements as the distance would take too long. Supreme Commander Birdy feared that depleting their forces would make them fall into Gruumm's hands. Supreme Commander Birdy told them that they were on their own before ending the message. The alarm went off. Sky and his friends suited up and headed into battle once more. They encountered Shorty and fired upon him. Instead of defeating Shorty, Shorty grew larger. Red Ranger called for the zords, but Kat was unable to send them because they were still offline. Blue Ranger told Kat to quit joking and send them the zords, but Kat replied that she was joking. The battle was not looking good for the Rangers.
The Delta Command Megazord appeared and Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers joined Shadow Ranger in the cockpit. Red Ranger gave the command: Rangers in position. Morphers locked. All of the Rangers stated: Delta Command Megazord ready. The battle continued, but they were still having a difficult time against Shorty. Blue Ranger stated: Our base can't keep up with him. The Rangers needed help and they were very surprised when another zord appeared on the scene. The battle continued and eventually Shorty was contained. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers ejected from their zord. The new Ranger did the same with his zord. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers watched as the new Ranger took on Morgana and Devastation. Eventually Morgana and Devastation retreated. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers walked up to the new Ranger and demorph. Jack introduced them to the new Ranger. The new Ranger told them that he was Omega Ranger and he demorph as well. Omega Ranger was now a sparkling white ball of light. Omega Ranger told them that they had met before and they would met again before flying off. Sky and his friends were puzzled. They returned to headquarters where they filled in Commander Cruger and Kat about their encounter with Omega Ranger. Commander Cruger noted that the message from the future had mention Omega Ranger. They also told them of Omega Ranger being a sparkling white ball of light. Boom drew their attention to the monitors and they watched several different videos that show the sparkling white ball of light. Sky concluded that Omega Ranger had come through the time portal when Samurai had entered. Omega Ranger appeared in the command center. Omega Ranger told them that he had come from the future to save them. At first, Sky and his friends were happy to have another Ranger on board, but they soon became offended when Omega Ranger commented on their outdated technology. Omega Ranger insisted that only he could defeat Morgana. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger asked the cadets what they wanted to do. Sky was all for letting Omega Ranger go on his own and the rest of his friends agreed. Omega Ranger left to battle Morgana and Devastation. Sky and his friends watched the battle on the monitor. They all became smug when Omega Ranger started to have difficulties. Commander Cruger reminded them that no Ranger left another Ranger in danger. Slightly abashed, Sky and his friends suited up. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers joined Omega Ranger in his battle. Morgana had already retreated. Soon the battle escalated to zords, but eventually the Rangers judged and contained Devastation. They all return in triumph to the command center. Boom came in and told them that the end of the world warning from the future was gone. Kat told Omega Ranger that his vehicle would be store in bay and that he was welcome to stay until they could figure out how to send him home. Sky and his friends were ready to give Omega Ranger a tour, but he told them that he already knew his way around. Omega Ranger told them that he had lived here as a small boy and that his human name was Sam, before he flew away. Sky and his friends were startled and then raced after Sam.
Sky was in the rec room with his friends, Jack, Syd, Z, Bridge and Sam. Syd was reading from a magazine with her featured on the soccer: Gemini's look forward to an exciting day of adventure, romance and financial windfall. Jack replied: Ka-Ching! I can use some extra spending cash since the salary I make at S.P.D. is nothing. Bridge excitedly asked Syd: Hey, do me, do me, do me! Syd replied: All right. What's your sign? Bridge told the group: It's hard to say. My mother went into labor on Trans Pacific Airline. So I was born on one day. Then when we landed, it was the day before. So I was actually born the day before I was born. Z reached for the magazine and said: Here. I'll read yours. Z then proceeded to tell Bridge that today he would be confuse, tomorrow he would be confuse. Sky and his friends laughed. Commander Cruger walked into the room and asked for Sam. Sky's friends were beginning to feel resentful of all the time Commander Cruger spent with Sam. Sky tried to reassure them. Sky told them that Sam was new and Commander Cruger wanted to make use of all of Sam's technologies. Jack retorted that they weren't useful. Commander Cruger then asked Sky to come over. Sky replied with a grin that apparently he was still useful. He walked up to Commander Cruger and Commander Cruger told them that he would be working with Sam and to find someone to fill in for Sam's duties. Sky was not happy and when he turned around his friends had all knowing grins on their faces. The following day, Sky, his friends, and Omega Ranger were in the command center. Commander Cruger was telling them about the recent rash of robberies. The alarm went off and Commander Cruger was ready to send in Omega Ranger. Jack stepped forward and told Commander Cruger that they would all go. Sky and his friends leaped into their vehicles and headed for the latest crime scene. They found the bewildered shop keeper and started questioning him. Bridge called out that he had found someone. Sky and his friends located Bridge and were confused by the sight of Bridge fighting air. Bridge then landed a powerful blow and the monster appeared visible. Suddenly several Krybots appeared. Jack had Sky and Omega Ranger take on the monster, while the rest of them would take on the Krybots. Sky and his friends suited up and battled. Blue Ranger and Omega Ranger eventually got Al, the monster while the rest of the Rangers defeated the Krybots. The Rangers returned to headquarters and had Al in a secure room for interrogation. Jack questioned Al first, but had no luck in finding out who he was working for. Sky went next and used his tough guy routine to scare Al. Al merely asked him if he had garlic. Sky had no success in breaking Al. Syd and Z followed next, and they both had no success. Bridge went next and with endless questions and non stop talking, Bridge managed to get Al to break down. Al told them that he had been working with Mysticon and Morgana. Commander Cruger and Kat correctly assumed that Gruumm was behind it. The following day, Sky and the rest of the cadets were back in the command center. Z had found a flyer that advertise a show Mysticon was performing at. Z had a bad feeling about it, as did Sky and his friends. Commander Cruger decided to send Sam undercover to investigate. Sky got upset and couldn't believe Commander Cruger had chosen Sam again. Commander Cruger asked him if he had a problem with it and Sky said nothing. Later, Sky and his friends dressed in civilian clothes and decided to go undercover to help out Sam as backup. Syd told the group that she would join them later, and walked away. Sky, Bridge, Jack, and Z sat in the audience and soon Mysticon's show started. Sky and the rest were surprised when Mysticon introduced his assistant and it was Syd. They simply assumed she had gone deep undercover. Mysticon made Syd disappear and then asked for a volunteer from the audience. Mysticon selected a young woman from the audience, Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones. Sky watched as Mysticon had Dr. Tyler-Jones entered an Egyptian Tomb and then had her vanished. Mysticon then ended the show. Jack was puzzled as to why Mysticon did not have the doctor reappear. A knocking came from within the tomb. Mysticon opened the tomb and a shimmering white ball of light was there for a brief moment, and then Omega Ranger appeared. The audience ran for cover. Sky, Bridge, Z, and Jack suited up. Mysticon raced outside, dragging Syd along with him. Several Krybots were there as well and a pair held Dr. Tyler-Jones captive. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers started battling as soon as they reached outside. They were very surprised when Syd began to fight them. Green Ranger convinced Syd to morph and when she did so, the spell she was under was broken. Quickly Pink Ranger joined the rest of the Rangers in their battle. The Rangers managed to defeat the Krybots and free Dr. Tyler-Jones. Mysticon escaped in a giant robot. The zords were sent and the Rangers were battling again. Even with the use of two zords, the Rangers were having a difficult time. Kat had developed the technology to combine the two zords. The Rangers did so and eventually Mysticon was contained. Sky and the rest of the cadets returns to the command center. Commander Cruger was very angry with them and they confessed that they were jealous over the time Commander Cruger was spending with Sam. Commander Cruger explained that he had been helping Sam adjust to present day. Commander Cruger reminded them that they were his Rangers, his team and to trust in themselves.
Sky was outside in the park with his friends, Syd, Z, Bridge, and Jack. They were tossing a freebie around and enjoying their day off. Syd commented: What a spectacular day! Z only wished Sam could have joined them - Sam had been sent to check out a disturbance in the Strato Quadrant. Sky thought that wherever Sam was, couldn't be as nice as New Tech City. His friends were surprised that Sky was enjoying himself. Their game was interrupted by Rhinix. Sky and his friends were puzzled as to how Rhinix had escaped, but they wasted no time in suiting up. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battle Rhinix, who managed to get away. To the Rangers' surprise, Hydrax appeared - another former criminal. The Rangers battled Hydrax until she managed to get away. There was no break as Bugglesworth appeared. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers battled Bugglesworth until Bugglesworth managed to get away. Sky and his friends returned to the command center where they reported to Commander Cruger what had happened and questioned whether the criminals had managed to break out. Kat and Boom walked in. Kat showed the group the containment cards - with the criminals still contain. Commander Cruger wanted the cadets to keep an eye on the city's grids for any unusual activity. Sky overheard Kat asked Jack for his morpher. Kat was planning to upgrade the weapons technology in Jack's morpher. Sky was excited and told them that would come in real handy. Sky grinned as he told Kat that she could upgrade his morpher next. Kat was quiet and then told Sky that she had designed the technology to work only with the Red Ranger's morpher. Sky was very disappointed. He look at Jack and told him that he was sure it would be fantastic and then walked away. Jack followed him and asked him to stop. Jack told Sky that he knew that Sky wanted to be the Red Ranger, but that he had to get over it. Sky admitted that he had some problems, at first, with Jack being the Red Ranger, but he was over it. Sky told Jack it had nothing to do with him. Sky went to his quarters, followed by Jack. He held the picture of him and his dad in his hands. Sky told Jack that he admired his dad and thought of him as a hero. He had always wanted to be a Red Ranger, just like his dad. Jack told him that heroes come in all colors. Kat announced over the loudspeaker that Cadet Tate was wanted in the command center. Sky entered the command center where Commander Cruger was waiting for him. Commander Cruger wanted Sky to interrogate a criminal named Mirloc. Commander Cruger believed that Mirloc would know what was going on. Sky left for the prison that Mirloc was held in. Because Mirloc could escape in anything reflective, all reflective pieces of Sky's uniform was covered over. He wore dark sunglasses and made his way down to Mirloc's cell. Several of the criminals tried to reach out to Sky as he walked pass, and Sky was a little un-nerved. Sky reached Mirloc's cell, which was more like a circular cell. Sky wanted answers, but Mirloc did not want to help Sky at first. Sky asked Mirloc what it would take to get some answers. Mirloc told him that he was a collector and that if Sky could give him a little something for his collection, he would help him. Sky agreed, as long as it wasn't mirrors. Mirloc agreed and then asked him if the various criminals had been seen together. Sky thought for a moment and then realized no. Mirloc told him that they were dealing with Slate - a criminal who had the capability to change his appearance with genetic codes, most likely supplied by Broodwing. Sky was getting ready to leave when Mirloc reminded him of his promise. Sky told Mirloc that if he had told the truth, he would be back. Sky returned to headquarters with the information. It made perfect sense to his friends. Bridge pointed out on the monitor that Sinuku was in the city. Sky and his friends knew what they were up against. They suited up and headed up in their vehicles. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers were ready to battle Sinuku, when he changed his appearance several times, transforming into each of the three previous criminals and finishing with General Tomars. A battle broke out and eventually General Tomars revealed his true identity as Slate. Slate quickly transform into Devastation. Devastation trapped the Rangers in the circle of fury, but they broke free. The battle continued and Slate soon entered a giant robot. The runners were sent, and the Rangers quickly formed the megazord. They battled until the robot was destroyed and Slate ejected. The Rangers were back on the ground and ready to judge Slate, when they were fired upon. Morgana had appeared and she had a present for Slate from Gruumm - the ability to be several criminals at once. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers faced down six criminals and Morgana. The battle broke out once more and it was difficult. Shadow Ranger appeared and tried to help the Rangers, but he was soon overwhelm as well. Kat contacted Red Ranger and suggested he break out the battlizer. Blue Ranger and the rest of the Rangers cheered Red Ranger on as he went into mode 1 of the battlizer. After awhile, Red Ranger went into battlizer mode 2 and contained Slate. Morgana got away before she was contained as well. Later, Sky returned to Mirloc's prison. Mirloc was surprised to see that Sky had kept his word. Sky was ready to keep his deal, until he learned that Mirloc collected sad memories. Sky did not want to tell Mirloc, until Mirloc told him that he had promised. With difficulty Sky told Mirloc of the day his father had died, in the line of duty as the Red Ranger. Sky was barely composed when he finished his story. Mirloc thanked him, telling him that story would entertain for quite some time. Sky was outrage and called Mirloc a monster. An unchecked tear trickled down Sky's cheek and Mirloc used the tear to escape. Sky wiped off his sunglass glasses, and still upset, realized that Mirloc had escaped.
Sky had returned to headquarters and was walking down a corridor when he ran into Boom. Boom said: Hey! Sky! Sky said nothing and continued walking. Boom walked alongside him and said: Look, I'm real sorry to hear about Mirloc escaping. But, you know, I'm sure you'll catch him. Which is good, because after all he is responsible for your father's...Sky angrily looked at Boom and then walked away. Sky entered the bathroom and berated himself for being so stupid. Mirloc appeared in the mirror and thanked him for allowing him to escape. Mirloc then told Sky that he had a lot of crimes to commit before vanishing. Sky was upset and frustrated at not being able to capture Mirloc. Sky angrily stormed into the command center and asked Commander Cruger how come he didn't tell him that Mirloc was responsible for his father's death. Commander Cruger told him that he didn't think the time was right. Sky told him maybe he was right, but the fact was that he had blown it. He felt that he should be demoted to D Squad. Commander Cruger told him that was a decision for the team leader. Jack became angry. Jack reminded Sky that he had told him that his father had fought to the bitter end and now he wanted to quit because of one mistake. Jack's words got to Sky. Sky composed himself and suggested that they split into teams to search for Mirloc. Sam floated in and told them that he wanted to help. The group left with Sky and Syd being on one team. They were searching an area when Commander Cruger contacted them. Commander Cruger asked them if there had been anything unusual and Sky reported that there hadn't been anything. Sky signed off and noticed Mirloc in the pond's reflection. He grab Syd and told her to watch out. Mirloc leaped out of the pond and faced them. Mirloc commented that Sky was always working - like his daddy. Sky told Mirloc that he was going to pay for all his crimes. Before Sky or Syd could do anything, Mirloc captured them into his reflective dimension. Later, Sky, Syd, Z, and Bridge were displayed to Emperor Gruumm. Gruumm was far from pleased, he wanted the Red Ranger and the Omega Ranger. Mirloc left to capture them as well. Eventually, Red Ranger in a zord was captured into the reflective dimension. Later, Mirloc had the cadets on display as he told Omega Ranger that it was his fate as well. Sky and his friends yelled words of encouragement to Omega Ranger, who was having a difficult time battling Mirloc. Eventually Omega Ranger smashed the mirrors on Mirloc's chest, which released Sky and his friends, and the zord. Sky and his friends gathered around Omega Ranger. They then faced down Mirloc. Mirloc taunted them - saying it was pointless to capture him as he would only escape again and nodding to Sky - told them to ask him. Sky felt slightly abashed. Syd, Z, Bridge, and Jack stood up for Sky. They told Mirloc that Sky was a great Ranger and they were proud to fight alongside him. Sky was boosted by their words of confidence. Jack handed Sky his morpher. Sky was not sure and asked Jack if he was sure about it. Jack told him that it seem fitting that Sky bring Mirloc in and to do it for his father. Sky took the morpher and said that this is for you dad. He then suited up to the Red Ranger. "Red" Ranger used both battlizer's modes and eventually captured Mirloc. He powered down and grinned as his friends ran up to him and told him what a great job he had done. Later, Sky, Syd, Z, Bridge, Jack, and Kat watched a monitor that showed Mirloc being transported to a planet with no sunlight Commander Cruger walked in and told them that they had done a great job. Commander Cruger stumbled over his next words as he apologized to Sky. Commander Cruger told Sky that he was sorry that he hadn't filled Sky in on all the details. Commander Cruger continued by telling Sky that he was a fine Ranger and he won't make the mistake of forgetting that again. Later, Sky sat in his quarters with his father's helmet in his hands. Jack walked in and asked him if it was his father's. Sky told him it was. Jack told Sky that his father would have been proud if he could have seen him today. Sky told him that in a weird way, he felt like his father was there. Sky stood up and handed Jack back his morpher. He told Jack thanks and that he owed him one. Jack grinned and told him that it was all good. Jack asked him how it felt to be the Red Ranger. Sky admitted that it had been great, but that he was proud to be the Blue Ranger. Jack was surprised and asked him really? Sky smiled and told Jack that heroes come in all colors.
Sky was sitting in the rec room working on his model airplane. Bridge and Jack were there as well and they were sparring. Sky snapped at them that they were not suppose to fight in the rec room. Jack and Bridge ignored him. Z and Syd walked in and
