Kelly
Kelly is Kimberly's cousin. Kelly wanted to be a cheerleader just like Kimberly. She wanted to join the squad at Angel Grove Junior High. During a tryout session, Kelly got frustrated when she couldn't keep time with the rest of the cheerleaders. Kimberly tried to help her, but going over the cheers with her, but Kelly was convinced that she would never be as good as Kimberly. She left and went to Angel Grove Park. Kelly sat on the swing until Kimberly and Tommy showed up. Kimberly told her that everyone has to practice and no one gets the cheers at off the bat. Kimberly also told Kelly that she shouldn't compare herself to anyone else. Putties appeared and Kimberly and Tommy urged Kelly to go into hiding. Kelly hid by some bushes and watched Kimberly and Tommy battle the putties. She was taken by Baboo and Squatt before Kimberly and Tommy could stop them. Baboo and Squatt took Kelly to a cave. Kelly sat and thought of what Kimberly had told her. She got an idea and ask Baboo and Squatt if they would like to learn some new cheers. Kelly began teaching Baboo and Squatt cheers about the Power Rangers defeating Rita. Baboo and Squatt got so disoriented that they left. The Power Rangers appeared and Kelly was thrilled to meet them. Later, at the Angel Grove Juice Bar, the tryouts had become. Kelly had no qualms this time and gave her best program. Kelly made the cheerleading squad.
