ANGELA
Angela
Angela is a lovely young woman and the object of Zack's affections. Angela very adamantly had nothing to do with Zack in the beginning and refuse to go out with him. She did confess to Zack that if he was a Power Ranger, she would go out with him in a second. Angela began to see Zack in a different light during a field day. Angela and Zack were on opposing teams. Both teams were tied. The final event was the tug-of-war. Angela's team lost and she landed face down into the mud. Zack gallantly put his red shirt on the mud to help her up. This impressed her. Angela dressed to the nines and found Zack at the Angel Grove Youth Center. She asked Zack to a matinee - much to his surprise. Zack said yes and they left for the movies. Unfortunately, during the movie, Zack's communicator went off. Angela had heard the noise and asked what it was. Zack replied that it was his popcorn alarm and he went to get it. Zack was contacted by Zordon and had to leave the movie theater to fight a monster. Zack was gone quite a long time. Enough time to leave Angela fuming. When Zack returned with two buckets of popcorn, Angela didn't say a word. Instead, she got up and dump the popcorn bucket on top of Zack's head and left.
Angel would become impressed with Zack again. She had a group of kids and Zack helped out by performing a magic show. Bulk & Skull tried to disrupt the show, but Zack soon had them outsmarted. Angela liked the fact that Zack was so good with kids. For a second time, Angela asked Zack if he might want to go to a matinee sometime. Ernie got everyone's attention by pointing to the screen. Angela, Zack, and the rest of the kids could see another monster, Peckster, attacking Angel Grove. Zack used his wits again, by having Bulk & Skull perform a magic act that made Zack disappeared. Angela was anxious for the return of Zack. After the defeat of the Peckster, Zack returned. Angela and Zack made plans to go to a movie. Later, Angela returned to the Youth Center to pick up Zack. She was rather surprised to see Zack all dressed up. Angela hoped that Zack didn't think she had meant a date. She had thought since he was so good with kids that he would enjoy going to a matinee with them. Zack's friends covered for him. Zack left with Angela and the kids to see one of her favorite cartoons - Woody Woodpecker.
Angela was at school by her locker when Zack walked up. Zack had heard that Angela had a birthday coming up and he wanted to take her out. Angela was very reluctant at first, but when Zack mentioned a French cafe, Angela decided that it might be fun. Angela and Zack double dated with Tommy and Kimberly. They arrived at the restaurant together and all sat at one table. Zack ordered for everyone. Angela was not very hungry for the frog legs dish she got. A waiter ask if there was an Angela at the table. Angela replied that it was her. The singing telegram appeared in the form of Bulk & Skull. Angela was not impressed and she began to regret agreeing to the date. Zack tried to save the situation by giving Angela her birthday gift. Angela was leery - thinking it was a practical joke. She opened the box and was delighted to see a beautiful set of pearl earrings. Angela was about to give Zack a kiss when a cake splattered onto their table. Angela was so taken with her gift, that she didn't mind at all. Zack and Tommy left to clean up. Kimberly encouraged Angela to try on the earrings. Angela did and when she did, everyone turned into statues. The earrings had been a trap set by Rita Repulsa. Once Zack broke the spell of the Pearls of Stillness, everyone returned to normal. Angela's earrings began to dissolved. Angela was furious and dump the earrings into a glass. She passed Zack on her way out and told him not to do her any favors.
Angela was at the Angel Grove Youth Center working out, when she heard some singing. She was surprised and touched to see it was Zack singing - accompanied by Bulk and Skull. After Zack finished his song, Angela apologized for being so materialistic. Zack gave her some flowers and she gave Zack a kiss on the lips.
