MASTER SWOOP
Master Swoop - Oliver Driver
Master Swoop is a Master at the Order of the Claw. His bat sonic radar had picked up that Bai Lai and Carden were back. He followed them to Ocean Bluff. Master Swoop entered the city and stood silently as the Rangers, in their Megazord, battled Bai Lai and Carden. The Rangers were defeated. After the battle, Master Swoop flew away. He knew where he needed to go - RJ's apartment. When the teens entered the apartment to talk to RJ, Master Swoop was there, hanging upside down. He began to fly around and then came to a stand still. Casey, Theo, and Lily were ready to tackle him. RJ stops them, telling the teens this is one of his former and favorite Master, Master Swoop. Master Swoop had been the one to teach RJ the Swoop technique. The teens learn Master Swoop is blind. Master Swoop doesn't appreciate Theo waving his hand in front of his face. Master Swoop and RJ have the teens leave. After they are gone, Master Swoop confirms with RJ that they need to do something with Theo. Theo's mind is scattered and he is no help to the team. It is decided that Theo will leave with Master Swoop for some training. Master Swoop takes Theo to the woods for some training. Master Swoop wants Theo to concentrate on one thing at a time. Theo is proud of being able to accomplish many tasks at the same time and is not concern. Master Swoop tells Theo he is letting his team down. Theo wants to know how. Master Swoop tells him Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger are battling Bai Lai and Carden and they need his help. Theo is worried about his friends in battle. Theo wants Master Swoop to get on with the training, so he can help his friends. Master Swoop shows Theo what he wants him to accomplish. Master Swoop uses his fan and then floats above the lake. Theo is in disbelief. After a few moments, Theo has decided to go ahead and try to accomplish what Master Swoop wants him to do. But despite everything he does, Theo cannot fly into the air like Master Swoop. Master Swoop tells Theo to clear his mind. Theo concentrates and he soon is flying over the lake. Theo is thrilled with his victory and anxious to help his friends. As soon as he mentions helping his friends, Theo splashes into the water. Theo gets out of the lake and he is not happy. Master Swoop tells him he didn't do bad for the first time. Theo knows what Master Swoop wants him to do, and he just can't do it. Theo can't change who he is overnight. Theo has always done three things at once. It was what his parents, teachers, everyone expected from him. Theo doubts he has what it takes to be a superhero. Master Swoop tells him he doesn't want him to change who he is, and he is definitely a superhero. His work ethics are not in questions. Master Swoop just wants Theo to be present and focus in the moment. Theo tries once more. Blue Ranger soon joins his friends in battle. Master Swoop enters the city as the Rangers are battling Bai Lai and Carden in their Jungle Pride Megazord. Master Swoop contacts Blue Ranger and tells him to use the bat spirit. With the bat spirit, the Megazord can fly. The Rangers think they have destroyed Bai Lai and Carden, but they have only destroyed Bai Lai. After the battle, Master Swoop, Lily, and Casey enter the apartment. They see RJ and ask him where Theo is. Master Swoop wants to say goodbye. Theo then floats down from the ceiling. Theo had been meditating and tells them it clears the mind and helps you stay focused. Master Swoop tells Theo how proud he is of him. Theo is pleased. Master Swoop then tells Theo not to forget to make the sauce, roll the dough, and save the world. Theo is a little dazed by all the demands and starts to walk away, until he realizes what Master Swoop is doing. Master Swoop grins and tell shim got you. Theo laughs.
