FRAN

Fran - Sarah Thomson

Fran was sitting in her favorite place, the Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor, in Ocean Bluff.  Fran loved pizza and came every day, even though she sometimes has trouble eating pizza without getting it on herself.  Fran found herself in a dilemma when the place was packed and RJ, the owner and cook, was nowhere to be found.  Fran ended taking care of the place in RJ's absence.  But it was a frazzling experience and she was still shaking when RJ walked in with three teens.  Fran asked RJ where he had been and then proceeded to tell him all that she had done.  RJ instructed her to breath whenever she got too wrapped up in her story.  RJ introduced Fran to the three teens, Lily, Casey, and Theo and told them that Fran was in every day.  Fran told them it wasn't like she had nothing else to do, she just loved pizza.  Spaghetti as well.  RJ sent Fran on her way.  Later, as Fran was walking outside in the city she was attacked by the monster Mantor.  Fran could only scream in terror as the Mantor came closer.

Mantor tossed Fran through the air.  Red Ranger leaps in the air.  Red Ranger:  Gotcha you.  Fran held onto Red Ranger as he landed on the ground.  Red Ranger:  Look, get out of the way.  I'll take it from here.  Fran:  Yeah.  Fran hurried away.  The following day, Fran was sitting inside the Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor.  She was surrounded by her books.  RJ asked Fran if she had a posse or anything.  Fran remarked that her books were her posse, she had no sisters and brothers, and her parents were too busy.  RJ had nothing to say about that.  RJ was preparing his crew for the 12:32 lunch rush when Theo told RJ he was sorry, but he had to leave with Casey for some training.  RJ asked him who was going to help him with the rush.  Fran volunteered.  RJ handed over an apron and told her she was hired.  Fran was thrilled.  Fran grabbed a couple of menus and welcome the crowd to Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor.  Later, Fran was mopping the floors, getting it ready for the evening rush.

Fran is inside the Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor, going over her list, and making everything is ready before the open.  There is a commotion at the floor.  It's a bunch of kids, and their moms, excited over the pizza birthday party.  Fran becomes a little alarmed when she realizes she is the only one there to handle the party.  Fran's fears are confirmed.  The party turns into a riot and Fran is the target of the screaming children.  Fran tries to keep things under control, but it is simply too much for one person.  After the party is over, Casey, Theo, and Lily walk in from the front door.  The place and Fran are a wreck.  Fran comments that now they show up.  RJ comes up from the back of the parlor, and he is not too happy.  Earlier RJ had sent Theo and Lily to get on Fran.  Theo and Lily, seeing the chaos, had decided Fran had everything under control and told RJ so.  Lily and Theo apologize to Fran, which Fran accepts.  RJ suggests they go out for ice cream, except for Theo and Lily, who have to stay behind and clean the place up.  Fran is very excited, she loves ice cream and is about to head out, when she realizes she should clean herself up first.

Fran was working at the Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor.  She opened the metal door that connected that dining area to the kitchen.  Fran:  One large Thriller Gorilla pizza, extra banana!  After a few moments, Fran heard Theo, Lily, and Casey.  All:  Fran!  Fran entered the kitchen as Lily, Theo, and Casey were racing up the stairs.  Fran:  Let me guess, you all have to leave for some super important and yet highly secretive reason.  Casey:  On the money, thanks Fran!  Fran took a look around the kitchen.  It was a mess because Lily and Casey had had a food fight.  Fran:  I bet Wolfgang Puck never has to put up with stuff like this.

Fran, Casey, Lily, and Theo were all working at Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor.  Fran and her friends stood in amazement as Theo was practically running the place on his own.  Theo was spinning pizzas and getting them to land on the correct table.  Fran and her friends all wondered how Theo could help them.  RJ was there as well.  RJ wondered if he only needed one employee, but quickly told everyone he was only joking.  Suddenly, Lily, Casey, and Theo had to take off.  Fran wondered where they were always taking off to.  Fran decided to make the best of it and told RJ that it was only the two of them.  But when Fran looked around, RJ was gone as well.  Several days later, Fran was working once more.  So were her friends.  Fran, Lily, Casey, and RJ stood watching as Theo flip pizzas.  Fran and her friends all had compliments for Theo.  One of the pizzas fell on Theo's face.  Theo removed it and told them he is also only human.

Fran was working at Jungle Karma Pizza.  She was walking with a tray full of dishes when Theo grabbed her wrist and looked at her watch.  This cause some of the dishes to fall off of Fran's tray.  Theo:  Is this thing right?  Fran:  No.  It's twenty-four hours ahead, it helps keep me on time.  What's so important you have to make a mess.  Theo:  Sorry.  It's the second Tuesday of the month.  Lily and I always try a new lunch spot on the second Tuesday of the month.  She's suppose to meet me right here at 12:00.  Fran:  Oh, how cute, you guys have a standing date.  Theo:  It's not a date.  Fran:  Whatever.  Theo:  WE just like hanging out.  Fran made sounds of disbelief.  Theo:  It's not a date!  It's so not a date.  No date.  RJ had walked in.  Theo hurried over to RJ.  Theo:  Have you seen Lily?  RJ:  Yeah man.  She's upstairs getting her groove on with Casey.  The following day, Fran noticed Theo sitting in a booth, moodily staring at an animal figurine.  Fran ask him if it is love on the rocks.  Theo tells Fran it is not love.  It's just he is use to being a duo and now he's part of a trio.  Fran points out that change is a good thing, otherwise things would be get boring.  RJ walks in and asks Theo what he is doing, Lily has been waiting outside for him for a good ten minutes.  Theo quickly gets up and races out.  Fran gets up as well and stands next to RJ.  Both Fran and RJ laugh and state love.

Fran was working at the Jungle Karma Pizza, inside the kitchen with Lily and Theo.  RJ came walking down the stairs into the kitchen.  RJ:  Well, see ya.  Adios!  Au revoir!  Ciao!  See you in a few days.  Theo:  What?  You're going fly fishing?  RJ was puzzled.  RJ:  No, why would you...RJ glanced down and noticed he was dressed for fishing.  RJ:  Oh, this getup.  I'm just going to a fly fishing contest.  Lily:  RJ you're such an animal rights guy, I just don't see you fishing.  RJ:  I'm not going to fish.  I'm going to disturb the fish, so the fishermen don't catch the fish.  Theo:  Hold on there.  You just can't go without leaving someone in charge.  Someone bright.  Resourceful and very responsible.  Me.  Lily:  If you don't say so yourself.  RJ:  Theo's right, we need someone in charge.  Casey walked in and RJ put Casey in charge and left.  Casey didn't want to be in charge and decided to divide the responsibility among his friends.  Fran was a floater.  Casey wanted to draw in more customers.  Casey had Fran dress as a slice of pepperoni pizza.  Fran was not too happy when she walk into the parlor.  She was sweating and the cheese was melting.  Lily and Theo both wanted Fran to help them.  Fran tried to maneuver around the tables and ended up overturning one.  No one picked up the dishes, instead Lily and Theo continued to argue.  Casey told Lily and Theo to work it out and walked away.  Fran flew over.  No one helped her up as Lily and Theo continued to argue.  Later Fran came running towards Casey and Lily sitting in a booth.  Fran asked them if they had moved the fire extinguisher.  Several pizzas were in danger of being charred if they didn't find it.  Fran, Casey, and Lily became searching for the fire extinguisher.  Fran and Casey entered the kitchen.  Fran found the fire extinguisher and quickly, along with Casey, opened the oven door and sprayed it.  Unfortunately, Theo had opened the other size and got covered in foam.  Fran and Casey left the kitchen.  Fran apologized to Theo.  Suddenly, Casey, Lily, and Theo took off and put Fran in charge of everything.  Fran was kept busy taking care of everything.  Finally, Lily, Theo, and Casey entered.  They had startled Fran and the pizza she was carrying went flying through the air and landed on Theo.  Theo asked Fran if he had done something to her in another life.  Lily commented that the place was a mess.  Fran became angry.  She told them they try waiting, cooking, and collecting the money, on her own, once again.  Theo was still grumbling about smelling like the garlic pizza that had landed on him.  Fran remarked that at least she won't have to smell him because she quit.  Fran stormed out.  Fran received five messages on her cell phone from Casey to meet them at the pizza parlor.  Fran entered hesitantly and asked what they wanted.  Lily, Casey, and Theo apologized to Fran.  They hadn't treated her well as a co-worker and more importantly as a friend.  Casey then offered to double her salary, and then tripled it.  Then Casey, Theo, and Lily took off.  Fran sat in a chair, amused.  They had her at sorry.  A few days later, things were running more smoothly.  Fran, Casey, Lily, and Theo were all working in harmony.  RJ entered and was very successful, not a single fish had been caught.  RJ noted the pizza place looked good too.  Casey told RJ he could put him in charge any time.  RJ told Casey that was good, because he was going to have to work a long time to pay off Fran's raise.  RJ walked away and Fran and Lily laughed at the expression on Casey's face.

Fran was working in the kitchen of Jungle Karma Pizza.  Inadvertently, Fran cause an explosion and flour went everywhere, including covering her.  Fran left the kitchen for a moment.  Theo, Casey, Lily, and RJ were there.  Fran:  Sorry, my bad.  Fran then entered the kitchen once more.  Later, Fran was all clean up and working.  The rest of the gang were there as well.  Everyone was working hard, except Casey who was kicked back in his chair.  Theo wanted to know why his tables were clean, while theirs were still a mess.  Casey explained he had a helper, Josh.  Theo and Lily hired Josh to help clear their tables as well.

Fran was working at Jungle Karma Pizza.  She hurried into the dining room.  Several customers had taken a bite of their pizza and now they were not happy.  Fran:  Whoa!  Whoa!  Whoa!  What's wrong with your food?  Fran did not know that Theo had accidentally put salt instead of cheese into the cheese shakers.

Ran was working at Jungle Karma Pizza when she heard a customer demanding some food.  Fran hesitantly approached the table where a young blonde woman sat.  Fran welcomes her and the customer (Camille) berates her.  Camille spots a slice of pizza on another table and uses her tongue to snatch it and eat it.  Fran just catches a glimpse of it and thinks she needs to get her glasses fix as she is not too sure of what she has seen.  Fran walks over to where Lily is taking out the pizzas.  Fran does not like the customer and complains to Lily.  Lily tells Fran the customer is just having a bad day and offers to switch with Fran.  Fran is more than happy to switch.  After awhile, Fran is walking out of the kitchen when Lily comes up.  Fran sees the customer is gone.  Lily tells her she wasn't that bad.  Fran still doesn't like her.  Suddenly, Casey and Theo come up as well.  Lily, Casey, and Theo tell Fran they are going on break as they race up the stairs to the apartment above.  Fran sarcastically comments to herself thanks Fran, you're the best Fran and even sticks out her tongue.  But she covers for her friends.

Lily, Casey, and Theo entered Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor in high spirits.  Fran is not so thrilled with them.  Fran overheard them talking about knocking things over and assumed they had gone bowling.  Casey, Theo, and Lily go with this story.  Fran would like them to give her some notice when they go on break.  RJ walks in and tells the teens they are needed up in the loft.  Grinning, the teens tell Fran they are going on break.  The teens follow RJ out of the pizza place and up into the loft.  Fran wonders what is going on.  Later, Theo, Casey, and Lily dejectedly enter the pizza place.  Fran immediately jumps on them for not being around to help out during the lunch rush or the clean up afterwards.  Casey, Lily, and Theo apologize and promise to make it up to her.  ran can see they are not themselves and tells them it's okay, she has already apologized to herself.  Fran then asks them where RJ is, as she hasn't seen him all afternoon.  Lily, Theo, and Casey have no answer for her and walk up the stairs to the loft.

Fran is in the kitchen doing dishes, when she hears the TVs on up in the loft.  Fran decides RJ won't mind if she goes up to turn off the TVs.  Fran climbs up the stairs to the loft.  Fran is impressed when she enters the loft and soon makes herself comfortable in RJ's chair.  Fran tosses her cap and grabs the remote to watch the TVs.  Fran is stunned to see her friends on TV and when they morph, Fran is even more shocked to discover they are the Power Rangers.  Fran eagerly eats chips as she watches the battle.  Which the Rangers destroy the Shadow Guards and defeat Dai Shi.  Fran quietly watches for them in the kitchen in the loft.  RJ and the teens enter the loft.  They are in high spirits.  RJ soon realizes someone has been eating his chips, watching his TV, and sitting in his chair.  Fran gives a small cough and they all look up.  Fran tells them hello Rangers - Power Rangers.

Fran walked into the kitchen of Jungle Karma Pizza.  She was tossing a pizza pan into the air.  Casey, Theo, Lily, and RJ were all in the kitchen.  Fran:  Rangers...party of three...your table is ready.  Theo:  Fran, you don't have to announce it to the world.  Lily:  Relax Theo.  I can understand her excitement.  Fran:  Thank-you Lily.  Casey was taking a pizza out of the oven.  Casey:  Hot coming through!  Yikes...very hot!  Casey accidentally knocked over a tub of sauce when he placed the pizza on the table.  Lily:  No problem, I can make more sauce.  RJ:  Ahh, Theo, you were suppose to put on extra sausages, not pepperoni.  Casey was using a rag to wipe up the sauce, when Fran noticed it was her shirt.  Casey wondered why the ran had buttons.  Fran tells the guys they should be as considerate as Lily is.  Theo gives Lily a hug and tells Fran that Lily is considerate enough for all of them.  The phone rings and Fran answers it.  It's a customer waiting for his delivery.  Casey volunteers to take the pizza as he wants to be as considerate as Lily.  Suddenly RJ clutches his chest and it is obvious he is in pain.  Everyone wants to know if he is okay.  RJ tells them he has pulled a muscle and is going upstairs to take a break.  RJ climbs the stairs to the loft, still in pain.  Fran, Casey, Theo, and Lily are worried about him.  Later, Fran enters the loft with a rare meat sandwich for RJ.  RJ is pulling quills out of Lily's back.  The Rangers had battled Porcupongo earlier.  It was the second sandwich she had delivered to RJ in a short time frame.  Fran left to go back to work.  After awhile, Casey and Theo join Fran in working at the pizza place.  Lily walks in and she is dressed in leather and the guys are pleasantly stunned by her new look.  Fran is less impressed.  Lily starts being obnoxious to some customers and they leave.  Lily takes their table, placing her boots n the table.  Fran tells the guys she can handle this and sends them to check on RJ.  Casey and Theo are reluctant to leave, but Fran manages to get them to go.  Fran approaches Lily's table and tells good Lily or bad Lily there will be no service with her boots on the table.  Fran then knocks Lily's boots off the table.  Fran is kept busy as she is the only one working.  Lily continues to be obnoxious and she is inhaling chicken wings.  Lily's morpher goes off when Fran is close by.  Fran tells Lily the guys need her help, but Lily decides they are big boys and can handle it on their own.  Fran is stunned.  Instead of getting Lily more chicken wings, she gives her a check.  Fran announces to Lily that she is refusing service to her.  Lily wants to know why and Fran lists several reasons, the main one being not helping her friends.  Lily replies then maybe Fran should.  Fran agrees and takes the sunglasses.  Lily becomes outrage and the two girls fight each other.  During the fight, the final quill leaves Lily's body and she becomes herself again.  Lily apologizes to Fran for anything she has done.  Lily is leaving as a disoriented RJ walks in.  Lily leaves.  RJ walks past Fran, not talking to her and heads straight for the loft.  That evening, Fran and Lily closing up the pizza place.  Casey and Theo were in the kitchen.  No one had seen RJ for awhile.  Fran spotted Lily's leather jacket and puts it on.  She really likes it.  Casey and Theo come out of the kitchen joking around.  Fran starts bossing them around.  Instead of arguing with her, the guys leave to do her bidding.  Fran tells them she was just joking, but they don't hear her.  Lily suggests they keep the jacket. 

Fran was scrubbing the floor at Jungle Karma Pizza, when Lily came walking through.  Fran is not happy and Lily takes off her shoes to help out.  After the floor, Fran returns to the kitchen.  She is working when RJ comes through.  RJ's clothes are in tatters and he looks a mess.  RJ is walking up the stairs to the loft and Fran is following him, talking non stop.  RJ stops and turns Fran's head in the direction of the oven.  The pizzas are burning.  Fran hurries over to the oven to rescue the pizza and RJ continues his way up into the loft.  After awhile, Fran goes up to the loft and sees RJ is packing.  Fran wants to know why RJ is leaving.  RJ tells her about the problem he is having, he can no longer control his animal spirit after Dai Shi damaged his wolf spirit.  Until he can get himself balance, RJ feels a threat to everyone.  Fran thinks the Rangers can help, but RJ wants them to concentrate on defeating Dai Shi, not helping him.  RJ leaves.  Later, Casey, Theo, and Lily will return with RJ.  During the last battle, the three teens discovered RJ was the werewolf.  Fran was tending to RJ as Casey, Theo, and Lily watched him anxiously.  RJ tells them what is going on.  If RJ stays in the animal form for too long, he will be stuck.  The teens want to help him, but it is something RJ has to do on his own.  The TVs report on another attack.  Casey ask Lily to stay and take care of RJ.  Fran tells them she will take care of RJ, they need all the help they can get.  Casey, Theo, and Lily take off.  RJ is still in pain and drops the glass of water he had.  Fran cleans up the mess and then leaves to get him another glass.  When Fran returns with a new glass, she suggests maybe RJ would like a pizza.  Fran stops when she doesn't see RJ in his chair.  Fran hears growling and when she turns around she sees that RJ has transform into a werewolf.  In fear, Fran drops her glass.  Fran walks backwards while talking to RJ, and then stumbles onto the floor.  The whole time Fran is talking and telling RJ she knows he would never hurt her and how the Rangers and him are her family.  RJ leaps down and lands on top of Fran.  Fran is terrified.  RJ is about to strike, but his pw starts to shake and he can't make the fatal blow.  Fran places her hand into RJ's paw.  RJ transforms back.  RJ realizes the problem is gone and he helps Fran to her feet.  RJ gives Fran a hug and thanks her for her help.  Fran tells him next time he ahs a problem, instead of running away, he should run to his friends.  RJ asks who is the Master now.  RJ is ready to help his friends, but first stops and gets a small box from the closet.  RJ would become the Wolf Ranger.  The following day, Fran is back at work in the kitchen when Casey, Lily, and Theo walk in.  They ask where RJ is and Fran tells them he is up in the loft.  They all hear a howl and hurry up the stairs to the loft.  The place is a mess.  They see a wolf and think RJ is trapped in the animal form.  The four teens surround the wolf and promise RJ they will take care of him by brushing him, giving him pizzas, and a flea bath.  From behind them, they hear RJ tell them he doesn't want the flea bath, but the brushing and pizza sounds good.  RJ explains the wolf, Nikki, belongs to a friend and he was just dog sitting.

Fran was looking for RJ at Jungle Karma Pizza.  Fran:  RJ!  Fran went running up the stairs to the loft.  Fran:  RJ!  RJ was inside the loft, along with Casey, Theo, and Lily.  RJ walked over to Fran.  Fran:  RJ, I think the sink has a leak, and we're almost out of dough, and I have an idea for a new pizza recipe...RJ:  Fran, Fran!  Sink, dough, new pizza recipe, no worries.  RJ looked around.  RJ:  Theo, Lily, why don't you help Fran?  Fran left with Theo and Lily.  That evening, Fran walked into the dining area with her new dessert, Anchovies and chocolate.  Casey, Theo, Lily, and RJ were all sitting at a table.  No one is enthusiastic about her new desert.  Fran suggested that everyone just try one.  Casey decides to give it a try and the rest follow and try one.  Casey, Theo, and Lily prompted spit their desert into the napkins.  Fran is disappointed.  Casey points out that everyone was to try it and Fran hadn't tried one.  Lily, Theo, and Casey chase Fran around, trying to get her to try an anchovy dipped in chocolate.
